Oatmeal without cooking

Ingredients

Oatmeal flakes (long cooking) 2 tbsp. l.
Amaranth flour or green buckwheat or flaxseed flour 1 tbsp. l.
Boiling water 250 ml
Sugar, honey, jam, fruit taste

Cooking method

  • Pour boiling water over the flakes (half of the total volume), cover and leave overnight. I immediately pour it into a glass, in which I will then whisk with an immersion blender.
  • In the morning add flour (flour gives a "milky" consistency), mix, pour in the remaining boiling water, beat with a blender.
  • You can also add fruits and berries to the porridge.
  • In the porridge in the photo, flaxseed was also added, but I did not like it with it, because my blender does not cope with it, although it has soaked the seed from the night with the rolled oats, and pouring into a stationary blender is a completely different story. The dishes get dirty, more time is needed and I'm simply lazy.) Therefore, I don't add more flax in the seeds, only as flour.

Let it insist while you put yourself in order. And you can also pour it overnight. Crushed rolled oats in water becomes milk-like. The proportions are about 3 tbsp. l with a slide for 300 ml of liquid. And there, as you like - thicker, thinner.
