It was our turn to languish from the heat. The husband immediately gave up hot food. So the pita bread was used. I did something similar to shawarma, but in a different format. In Germany, a similar thing is sold in Turkish eateries and is called "Durum". For convenience, I will call this

Lunch in lavash

for 4 servings

4 fairly large sheets of pita bread
500 gr chicken or turkey fillet
1 large young squash
cottage cheese with herbs
4 green onion feathers
4 large lettuce leaves or finely chopped and grated cabbage
1 bell pepper
2 medium tomatoes
"Zucchini-carrot mixture for salads" (can be replaced with pickled cucumber)

Sprinkle the fillet generously with seasoning, salt and pepper. Treat with a tenderizer, cut into pieces of about 2x2 cm. Lightly grease a teflon baking sheet with vegetable oil, place the fillets in it and place in an oven preheated to 200 ° (convection 180 °). As soon as the fillet begins to brown, add the diced courgette, stir and bake until the liquid evaporates. This happens very quickly. In the process, you can stir a couple of times.
Lavash thinly grease with cottage cheese with herbs, sprinkle with chopped vegetables - green onions, lettuce or cabbage, sweet pepper. Top with the meat and zucchini, then the zucchini-carrot mixture or pickled cucumber, then the tomato slices.
Roll it all up and eat it!
