Pancakes from meat and vegetables "Children"

Meat and vegetable pancakes for children

Ingredients

Chicken or pork * about 300 g
Vegetable stew** about 300 g
Wheat flour 1 tbsp. l.
Oat flakes 1 tbsp. l.
Salt 0.3 tsp
Olive oil
Loaf soaked and squeezed half a piece
Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking method

  • * instead of meat, you can take the liver
  • ** I cook vegetables in advance. I take those that are at hand (though I haven't tried potatoes) - zucchini, pumpkin, broccoli, cauliflower and white cabbage, carrots, Jerusalem artichoke ... But I didn't use more than three types at the same time.
  • Grind pieces of raw meat in a blender, add stewed (preferably steamed) vegetables, flour, oatmeal, loaf, salt, oil. Purée until dough.

  • Then we send the mixture to brew in the refrigerator (about an hour).
  • Fry in vegetable oil.

  • You need to get a handle on how to bake them, if not liver, of course, they are always baked. But meat is difficult - they turn over badly if you do not let them bake well on one side (until the color changes completely, and only then turn).
  • The pancakes are soft and tender. My nehochuha began to chew and bite them ITSELF !!!! And constantly asks for a pancake! And there is meat and vegetables and cereals !!! Everything useful and valuable. Yes, I try not to fry them over high heat in order to avoid a strong crust (in the photo they are bright because of the pumpkin). I fry everything completely. I put it in a bowl under the foil. Then I heat it up in a water bath (I try to avoid the microwave) in a little water or broth.

Note

A dish for babies with poor appetite, as well as those who do not like or cannot chew. It accidentally dawned on me with such pancakes. My youngest favorite, unlike older children, eats poorly. Every day for 2 years, 4 times a day, we fought an unequal battle. Torment for both. But this is not the most important thing either. He doesn't chew at all. Only pureed food. Horror. After lying in the hospital and being examined far and wide, the first thing I did was convinced of the likelihood of illness. And when she was convinced that everything was ok, she radically changed the attitude towards food and feeding her son. As a result, two recipes were developed and all possible varieties of pasta were purchased. VICTORY!!! The child began to ask for food and chewed !!! But we are still talking about the dish. I will post the second recipe at the request of the workers. And I share this. I made pancakes from the liver - as it is useful, but you simply cannot force it to eat (I soaked it overnight in milk). Made from chicken. Made from lean pork. Good in all cases. They turn out to be soft and tender.
Yes, all norms are approximate. So I cook by eye.
Yes, I forgot, sorry. If you want to get lush, then add soda quenched with vinegar. This will not really affect the liver, but the meat will become pies (but it is better to try this and that in order to choose your own recipe for your gourmets).

My son began to chew food already at school age, and so I had to cook everything soft, mashed, liquid, so that he could swallow himself and he would at least eat something. Not feeding was horror, because if your son starts chewing earlier, consider yourself lucky.

The recipe is wonderful! My oldest grandson, who turned 3 in August, hardly eats meat. I will have to try to cook such pancakes. I wonder if you can bake them on a pancake maker ?!

I don't know how in a crepe maker, but in a waffle iron for thick waffles, I think you can. IMHO

I can't say for sure, I haven't tried it. They need to get used to baking them, if not liver, of course, they are always baked. But meat is difficult - they turn over badly if you do not let them bake well on one side. But even on high heat it is impossible, since a crispy crust is not useful for a child. But if it did work out, then it's not scary - heat it up in a water bath with a small amount of water or broth. (Or you can use the microwave). I put a saucepan and a plate on it. Water boils in a saucepan, the plate heats up and the pancakes become even softer. The kid himself holds them with handles and bites like a watermelon in halves. After a complete lack of appetite for me, this picture is nicer than any feast on earth! I would look and look. In general, I have a dream to see my son gnawing a chicken leg! But for now we are eating pancakes and thank God for that. Maybe eat five in one sitting. The record is 7. But he loves liver diseases more.

There is one! I'll have to try it too. Thank you!

With a report. Now I've made pancakes. Liver + vegetables (carrots, cabbage, zucchini) + rolled oats + flour + 4 quail eggs. Fried in a cast-iron skillet without adding oil (I added a little olive oil to the "dough"). I don't know how my boys will perceive them when they wake up, but I really liked it. Vegetables are not felt at all, there is no specific taste of the liver either. I want to believe that they will like it too.
In the next. just try to do it with meat.
tumanofaaaa, thank you so much for the recipe.

Thank you so much. Confused. This is from the desire to feed the unwilling person more satisfying and healthier at the same time. Yes, I forgot, sorry. My boys didn't eat pancakes. I got more.
But the recipe didn't get any worse. I will definitely still bake such. The pancakes are lush, even when they are cold they have not settled. Very satisfying. It turned out them from the proposed number of products 15 pieces.
But I only add soda to baked goods. I don't like it in vegetable pancakes, and I won't add it here either.
I want to say right away that I have problems with photography. There is no time for this with my shyloopiks.
Thanks again.

Sorry. I wanted to please. Try it with beets (baked or steamed), they will turn out pink.

No, it's ok. The main thing is that it turned out very tasty and healthy. This is not only my opinion, my son-in-law also liked it.
And the little fastidious themselves do not know what they want. The younger, meat-eater, took a bite, looked and began to demand "mother !!!" (meat), that is, he did not even understand what he was offered. The elder (who practically does not eat meat) was mixed with boiled rice, added sour cream and he ate at least a little. Serve them pasta, even if only with butter.
As soon as I buy the meat, I will try try No. 2. I will definitely report back!

Tashenka was probably referring to the Orion pancake maker, in which you don't need to turn it over.
Tashenka, baked in Orioshka?
Tashenka
Nope ... Oriosha is still intact. She cooked pancakes in an ordinary cast-iron frying pan.

How could I have missed such a recipe - a storehouse of all the most valuable in the composition! I printed it out for my mother - she really needs this both for her health and to her taste, I'm going to do it myself in the near future! I will report!
And to be removed, can you cover it with a small lid on top when you start frying? Immediately the top will grab!

Thank you dear. Olga depends on what. If hepatic, then they always lag behind. But meat - of course, cover and not in a hot pan. But this is exclusively for children. For reasons of lack of a fried crust and mandatory softness. And also a dietary option.

Girls are such pancakes with liver perfectly baked in a donut maker! I have Smile WM 3606. Depending on the consistency (it should be like thick sour cream), I added semolina / flour (you can c / z). Plus added 1/2 tsp. baking powder. Just bake at once. Perfectly behind!
