Sorry if I offended you, I didn't mean to offend you. I looked at your link, it looks like Yumi J, but I think its functions will differ slightly from the German one. Well, I think the instructions are all written in German.
oleg1980
Hello everyone! I cooked Rice, which I can say, it turned out not bad. Loose turned out. I did as it was written in the instructions. I also wanted to fry potatoes in the Bakery, but it didn't work out, maybe I did something wrong. But then the potatoes turned out to be stewed, steamed and very tasty. Who fried potatoes in a cartoon .... ?? Tell me how you did it ..))))
Agata21
Traditionally, you can't fry in Yummy. I cook like this; in a cartoon, a tablespoon or a teaspoon of vegetable oil, I cut potatoes into 4 slices and bake for 30-40 minutes. in the process I mix a couple of times. The only condition is that there should not be a lot of potatoes.

Good day to all!
I turn with a question to the owners of this kitchen miracle: tell me, please, what are the main differences in the YUMMY YMC-500 modelsB and YUMMY YMC-500J? According to the descriptions that I found on the Internet, there is no difference at all ... ((The second is at a slightly more expensive price, what is so special about it compared to the first? I would be very grateful for clarifications!

Firstly, in the design, and besides, in the YUMMY YMC-500J the extinguishing can be set up to 12 hours, and in the YUMMY YMC-500B only for 90 minutes. That's all the difference.
oleg1980
They are almost the same only the difference in shape, Beshka is similar to Panasonic ... And about extinguishing, then in Beshka you can also put it on for 12 hours ... only this will not be extinguishing, but another function ... you are heating ... ...

Thanks for answers!

It seemed to me that the YMC-500J is very similar to the perfezza, which does not have a drip tray.
Does the YMC-500J have a drip tray and is it really necessary?
is 90 minutes of extinguishing enough? or will there be a lack of time in the function?
IRR
Drip collector - - absolutely not needed, the valve device is different there. Yummi J has a removable lid, like a 57 perfezza. But lately, I stopped arranging stewing for milk porridge in my program - I started to run away. Not at all nra. I cook them in an ordinary rice cooker, which is much cheaper than YUMMI.
Ally
IRR
Can I ask a really stupid question then?
from perfezza 57, Panasonic 18, yummi b or yummi jay what to choose?
(or maybe something out of this range?)

This question is very easy for me to answer. Take Perfezza 57, (and it's better in the online store, the prices don't go off scale there) immediately go to them in the subject and pester everyone - how is it with the extinguishing mode? does not the milk porridge run away if you need it. Because in multicooker, the most demanded mode is stewing. If the extinguishing program is good, without troubles - FSE! this is success, because she will cook rice for you. And if stewing good is both soups and cereals, and stews and sauces with your minimum participation. If the program is too active, you will have to jump near it, that is, turn it on, then watch it so that it does not run away, then switch it to heating and turn it on again so that it boils. Do you need it?

shl. even in favor of perfusion - the cover-insert is removable - it is convenient to wash and there is no drip tray, which is also +.

Have you considered DEX? it is also inexpensive. True, the lid there is not removable, but you didn’t sweep aside the Panasonic, but there is the same thing, but it costs a thousand more
(just noticed that we will be away from our fellow countrymen? From the hero city of Sevastopol?)
oleg1980
Well, it is not necessary to say that Perfeza .... here you can advise like this: Look at the functions and money ..... as well as for a high-quality saucepan .... this is important. Regarding that it is not convenient to wash, I can say so normally it is washed with a washcloth without problems ... about a drop of the collection ... I understand why it is needed ... in my opinion it exists for everyone ... as long as I did not revise the cartoon, everyone has it ...

Each sandpiper praises its swamp. I have three multi Yummi, DEX and AURORA. I love them all, but I think that DEX is the safest. Some of it is the most serious, ranging from the quality of the pan to the programs, how it is written and how we do it. There is no need to come up with which program to bake and which one to cook.
IRR
Quote: oleg1980

Well, you don't have to say that Perfeza ...
they asked me, I answered

shl. about the drip tray - these are old samples of cartoons, these are almost never produced in Korea and China, if you find a line, such a rice cooker costs 30 bucks, and there is 50 Panas.

from my son's DEKS, she advised me, not seeing the perfets. The lid is not removable there - the main disadvantage IMHO. And so, according to the programs, it is not stumped, only that the milk runs out from him - 1 liter, he himself complained.
Rina
In the section of multicooker / rice cookers of recipes, there is a van, a carriage and another small cart. You can even take regular recipes from cookbooks that require boiling and stewing. All skill comes with experience.

it seems like the presence of a pen and the programs are the same.

Or are you interested in a scanned version of the instruction?
Agata21
It’s just not clear to me, why release four models that differ only in design? The only difference between B and J is that extinguishing can be set not for 1.5 hours, but for 12 hours. My bishka suits me, but in combination with other cartoons.

in all models is possible. And in these too. Nothing will burn for this price, there is a special non-stick coating. In all other, more inexpensive, it is also.

I studied the forum and bought myself a Yummy ymc-500JB Question to the experienced ones - is the time set or do you need to count yourself with a calculator at which time to set the timer ?? : umnik2: and how to turn off the heating after cooking ?? Or do you need to watch to unplug it ??
Agata21
If the current time is set on the mult, then we set the timer for the time, and if there is no clock in the mult, then we expect to which hour the dish should be ready. The heating can only be switched off manually. I have Yummi-V, maybe in your model it is not so, but something tells me that they differ only in design.

I have a question for the owners of Yummy. No one experimented with the interchangeability of Panas Bolshoy and Yummy pots. Maybe someone else had such an opportunity? This question is very interesting. You can buy a casserole for Yummy for 350 hryvnia at the joint venture, so it is tempting, maybe it will sit well in Panas.

I came to the conclusion that the "potato" mode is analogous to the "crust" in other cartoons. In any case, the potatoes in the Aurora slow cooker on the "crust" mode just like in Yummi,

The instructions say that in this mode the potatoes should be covered with water. What a crust here. And without water, you can screw up CF. "Potato" - maximum boil mode. It is more like "Quick Brew". And the crust must be done on baked goods.

That's right, the potatoes are covered with water, then the water is evaporated and at the end the potatoes are fried. This setting is much more intense than baking and boiling. By the way, when the liquid evaporates, the cartoon turns itself off. And yet, oil or fat, for example chicken, must be added to the potatoes.

I pour the water so that the potatoes peep out a little, fat is necessary. When the water evaporates, fat remains and the potatoes are fried. The recipe is for 6-8 medium sized tubers. I have Yummy 500 B. Cooking time I will not say for sure, I cook until it starts to fry, about 40 minutes.

The instructions say: "The water should cover the top of the potatoes by about 1 cm." I fry on "Pastry" for 40 minutes. 1-2 tbsp. l. rast. butter, stir in the middle.

Take me to the company. I gave my daughter 500j for her birthday. But, since my daughter has a little girl (she's not even a month old), she has no time to go to forums, we master CF together. So I was glad that I found a whole topic on this model, otherwise it is only mentioned everywhere about it.
So far, my daughter is using the recipes that are in the instructions, but she will also want something else. I looked here - I picked up a couple of recipes and practical advice. Thank you! I will definitely write about my (my daughter's impressions and achievements.

But I split off - I bought my mother Aurora after all. Bribed by the price (1.5 times cheaper than in the joint venture), the "yogurt" function (my mother and I are avid yogurt addicts with experience) and the presence of grooves for condensate drain on the sides of the saucepan. In general, now I will be on two topics.
