Pardonte all, while sorted out with the pictures. Toko didn't shoot from the back. Here she is a young lady. I have already cooked milk porridge, rice. Now I put the stew on the stew. 40 minutes left. I want to test all the programs, at least for a few days, otherwise we won't have time to eat. Porridge is super! But in my rice cooker, Comfort was also Excellent !. From above, this is not a window, it is a valve. Very convenient, can be disassembled into 2 parts and washed. I don't know STILL to write.Save it if that.

And then there are a few differences - in this one, which is round with flowers, she, like Panas, has a drip collector, and in mine there is just a large valve on top. And in vain I didn't take a picture of her yesterday. There is a screw on the lid, so frank that you can, as I think, unscrew at any time and tear it out (the lid) well at least once a month, if necessary.
alyona
IRR , looks great. I like. The cover is serious!
I watch everything the same as in Panas. And + handle.
IRR
And the saucepan, as you wrote, is serious. So thorough. I have something to compare with. In my rice cooker, it is as light as a toy, outside there is a luminaire, it has already oxidized in some places. And this is covered ... I can't even say what it is covered with, like enamel, but matte.

Girls who were interested not only in design - stewed stew. At the beginning I left what was found - 2 chicken thighs, potatoes, onions, carrots, 1 tomato lying around + a spoonful of sour cream and a spoonful of mayonnaise = salt, Provencal herbs. And all this is stewing for 3 hours. It melts in the mouth, while nothing falls apart, it smells delicious for the whole apartment. I state - testing the software. extinguishing passed. While everything is about, k.
IRR
Guys - information, as they say, from the first and so far the only hands. (Sorry, that's how it happened) Yummi's power is 800 watts. I have already tested 2 programs - "soup" and "stewing". I'm happy so far. Maybe today I can master baking. I understand that I need to make some kind of sponge cake, so that later I can compare who has how many cm. But nobody eats it (well, they don’t like sweet pastries, what are you going to do) But for the sake of the purity of the experiment, I’m ready to sacrifice a few eggs and a glass of sugar. That's all I can for now. And to the question about unknown companies ... I would also gladly take some inexpensive, but well-known model, say an LG multicooker or the same Samsung. But they are not. More precisely not yet. Agreeing that Panasy rarely break down, because the firm is - who can argue? To this I can only say one thing - for the next few years I undertake to inform you about the health of my cartoon.
Zlata
Irr, how much does she weigh? And the smells come from her strongly? and a container for condensate is there?
IRR
The packing box from her is already in the grave, I can't say for sure. But now I weighed in with her, and then I myself (although I would not have done it better) on a floor scale - 3 - 3.5 kg, taking into account the error. For a 5 liter pot, it is really compact, as the instructions say. And it doesn't take up much space on the table. My x \ b weighs more. Didn't understand what smells you are talking about - about the plastic rubber bands inside? Well, yesterday half a day smelled like new household appliances, while she was warming up at home, and I was reading the instructions. And then it smelled delicious, although the hood worked.

The drip tray for this model is not provided, there is a round one - there in general, everything seems to be "a la Panasonic". There is a very large valve here, you can see it in the photo from above - at first I thought it was a window. Apparently he performs this function. Condensation was not detected by me either near or during cooking or after. Although I was ready for "surprises". The firm is unknown, you understand.

Irr, another question about the multicooker-on what modes is there a timer (in Panasonic the timer does not work in all modes, for example, extinguishing)?

Irr, another question about the multicooker-on what modes is there a timer (in Panasonic the timer does not work in all modes, for example, extinguishing)?
Dont know. Here you can add or subtract time everywhere. Except for rice porridge (here it is clear until the water boils away). And on the menu at the beginning by default. Soup 40 min, stewing - 1 hour, baking 20 min, potatoes - 30 min, Steamed 20 min. Further maxim. the cooking time is set manually by the timer. You can turn off at any time.

Nothing in the instructions. But she starred! Here I am the brake. It was easier for me to dig deeper with a screwdriver. If I were the manufacturers, I would write on the box "with a removable cover" in BIG LETTERS. How convenient it is. I put in +? Next is a removable valve disassembled and assembled. And my sponge cake with sour cream and currant cream. Well, nothing like that. Baked. Height 6cm. For 1 tbsp sour cream, 1 eggs, 1 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp flour, 0.5 tsp soda how? Fine? Diam. casserole 23 cm. And I didn't take it for biscuits, honestly. Thank you, Gypsy. What else will you look at about my saucepan, write, I'll check it empirically.

I don’t want to say anything bad about Yummy - I’m just stating a fact. Especially I spent almost an hour trying to find at least some mention of Jummy Corporation Japan on the vastness of the foreign Internet - the result is zero. All references to this "brand" are only on the sites of Ukrainian online stores. On the allegedly official website of the representative office in Ukraine, there is no legal address or information about warranty obligations, only the phone of the same online store that sells them. All the addresses of the service centers that are supposedly authorized are the addresses of the Panasonic SC and it is not a fact that these centers generally know about the Yummy brand and will undertake its warranty repair.

But somewhere in China they are produced, - I continue to search, I will find - I will share information

IRR
Oh, like mine! Those guys, don’t worry, China is not China. (I’ll drive past the service center, I’ll pick it up.) First, who can cook rice better than the Chinese? And there are a lot of them, these pans. And not just Panasonic. Secondly - do you really intend to go through life with one saucepan? Well this is not interesting. Every year new models are released (the same as the mobile phone). Will work for 3 years and change. And there, you see, prices will fall. We hit the peak and the business speculators did their best. I was jittery for the first couple of days - from order to receipt. Not yet unpacked. Then I saw a solid castul, thick-walled 2 mm coating, calmed down. And then she also cooked ... The fact that the company adapted to the Russian market is evidenced by a more or less decently written manual and the program POTATO-wow! - (potatoes are our second bread, like their first rice). And what prevents boiling potatoes for prog. soup?

Hey.
Girls, take to the company ???
Many thanks to all of you, only from this forum I learned at least something about this multi.
Today they will bring me this miracle Multicooker Yummy YMC-500B.
I chose for a long time, bribed the price and volume, which is not comparable to Panas. Therefore, today I will test, tomorrow I will tell you what and how.
who has it?
what can you say?
because I am still very worried if I missed ...

IRR, special thanks to you and the first question:
what is potato mode ??? is it a fark or cooking ???
Marik, hello! Nice to meet ! It looks like you and I have decided to take a chance so far. Do not worry, you will be satisfied. The girls from the forum helped identify the firm that produced this Yumi. It's called MIDEA. If you want to know more, go to their official website. The potato program is just stupid cooking potatoes - focusing on the Russian market (if it was before Peter, then there would be a REPO cooking function).
Danisima

I also bought a Yummi slow cooker and very happy. I cooked soup, borscht, wonderful. Baking lemon cake, great. I stewed the meat, tried the soup on the mode until it boils, and then in the heating mode for almost 12 hours, the meat turned out to be soft, and the broth was transparent. I would like to cook cold for the new year. So far, I'm happy with the saucepan
Marik
Girls, I waited and got my multi yesterday.
I immediately tried two modes of baking and porridge. made a cottage cheese casserole and porridge with mushrooms. my husband pushed on both cheeks, said that she was somehow especially tasty
today I'm trying a roast, that's just being done ... another five minutes and I'll go grump
generally happy, no words, everything is super ...
Danisima

I have Yummi 500V. I practically cook the first and the second twice a day. And I look closely at the slow cookers, but still in thought.
Judi
Guys, what about the frying? In the sense of a chicken, for example, with a crust or semi-cooked?
ptn
Those who want to buy such a saucepan, pay attention to the fact that model B (in a flower) has only 90 minutes stewing, and such as the IRR has 12 hours
Lady Drive
Quenching can be added ...

Yesterday I used my saucepan to the full .. first I put a whole chicken in it, in the baking mode on one side for 30 minutes and on the second 30 it turned out with a fried crust, then I put potatoes in the juice from the chicken in the baking mode for 20 minutes, the potatoes turned out like stew ... And then I baked the cake inside there were frozen plums ... beautiful) everything is tasty and convenient
ptn
Of course you can add, but you can't put jellied meat at night
IRR

Like this? I have a default extinguishing of 1 hour. But then you can click the lope with a timer. That's right, ptn, until 12. And how is it in Bishka? - there is also a timer, so add it. Or?...

OR ....)) that is, a maximum (not by default) 90 minutes, when they end you can add another 90, and in your model a maximum of 12 hours, which, like in Panasonic, you can click right away.
I have a Panasonic (that is, I have something to compare with), and I bought this one for my mother as a gift, and now such a nuance was discovered.
Svett
Girls, I bought myself a Yummy YMC-500j, not b, but only because it attracted the presence of a pen (I plan to carry it to the dacha in the summer)

maybe it's some kind of glitch? on the extinguishing regime? in b model?

because on the stewing mode I really liked the bean soups, pickles ... it turns out to be delicious (I expose for 2-3 hours), whole grain cereals too

and a question IRR - as far as I understand you have a Panasonic. Don't you think that in yumi there are more "active" heating modes -
the same stewing and soup I watch gurgles actively,
in the stewing mode, you cannot heat milk - it "jumps out", you have to observe a whole ceremony - you turn it on, then turn it on, then turn it on again, then turn it on again ...

potato mode - when I fry (carcass) potatoes on it without water, then if you do not interfere, it will be very fried

I raise the question because I already feel the need for a second saucepan but smaller, so I look at the descriptions on Panasonic and it seems that it does not boil so much? by cooking modes

and maybe someone saw a similar teznik with a ceramic cauldron (just not a slow cooker), probably like a rice cooker - give a link pliz

1. This is not a glitch, it is even stipulated in the instructions, I read the one that posted the IRR and the one that goes to B, so even in the instructions there is this difference.
2. I have a Panasonic))), and I bought V (ku) for my mom as a gift, and when I was teaching my mom)), I actually felt that there was a significant difference, not for the better. In Panasonic, when extinguishing, the liquid practically does not evaporate, and in Yummi there is quite active bubbling.

In a word, personally, I was not satisfied, it looks more like a simple electric. a saucepan that will help out in the absence of a stove.
Since Yummi stews-cooks is no different from stewing in a simple saucepan over low heat, in Panasonic it turns out like languor, that is, without moving the ingredients.

Now, if this was my first saucepan, honestly, I would not understand people who admire the multicooker, now I love my Panasonic even more.
IRR
Girls, I don't have Panasonic, I definitely can't do a comparative temperature analysis. Only presumably. Porridge-rice, it is clear when the water boils away. This is the case in rice cookers with two buttons. I cooked the soup on the "soup" a couple of times, I just poured less water (approximately half, that is, 2.5 l), it quickly boiled and I switched to stewing. If you need to cook more, then just stewing. But also in Panas (when I studied the programs, many cook soup-borscht exactly on stewing. They will set for 3 hours and, as they say, forgotten) With the program. extinguishing is the case - first, the temperature rises up, then it itself goes into the languishing mode. I did not notice very active boiling. I specially tested this mode - I heated 3 liters of milk for 3.5 hours - nothing escaped. Then I poured it into a 3-liter bottle, so it was 3. The catofel program, there Yes, I agree that the mode is active. But the instructions also say, pour water 2 cm more than the potatoes themselves. What else remains there - for a couple. So for a couple it is the same everywhere. We do not discuss. Svett- in the katofel mode - the potatoes are not fried, they are boiled. Fry in baking mode.
Svett
ptn thanks for the consultation in comparison between yumi and panasonic

although I do not particularly regret that I took the yumi, it suits the functionality, BUT the second saucepan will be exactly Panasonic.

teach, teach ... but we are always caught on the fact that "almost it", but it is not it at all (((

IRR in the instructions there are only a few pages of recipes))), it turns out you need to experiment, but yesterday I made potatoes on "potatoes" - a little olia, a leg, coarsely chopped potatoes - and for 40 minutes. In the process, I interfered 2-3 times, and when the readiness sounded, I added ground spices. ate instantly.
We should try to fry something else on potatoes.

It seems to me that yumi controls humidity only in rice mode, and all the others only keep temperature
IRR

ptn Maybe then in Yumiya just use heating, if you want languor, as in Panasonic. If it does not bother you, give me the temperature in all Panas modes, I will buy a thermometer specially, I will compare.
IRR
Swett on the program the potatoes are NOT Fried. It is boiled on it, and water is poured to cover 2 cm. Is in the instructions. Lock up the casserole. Fry pastries on the program.
Lady Drive
Girls, I cooked borscht yesterday on the stewing program, do you think the soup is better on the program? how is the soup program different? I haven't tried it yet
IRR
SOUP program - default 40 minutes Water was poured cold - 2 liters., Taking into account the open-close of the lid several times, it boiled in 25 minutes. (5 times opened - heat loss 1 time 1 minute). According to the idea, IMHO should have boiled in 20 minutes. The boil is average between stewing and boiling potatoes. Nothing splashed. Now I poured a maximum of 3 liters of porridge. We have to go to the end, the most interesting.

Then 3 liters boiled almost at the end of this program (40 minutes) from which the conclusion is that it is necessary to add time with the pens initially. Nothing is poured out, nothing is poured out. MAIN _ do not overflow from the specified max level. Boiling is active. But IMHO, it's better to cook borscht on stewing. I somehow respect slow boiling more, that's why I look more and more often in the direction of slow ones. Kenwood.
Lady Drive
Girls, and one more question!
Do the recipes say that sometimes you need to stir? What is it like? can you just open the lid during cooking or frying and stir? or stop the process?

Girls, well, measure your saucepan, how much displacement does it really have ??? They write 5l, really or 4.5l as in Panasonic ???
IRR
5 liters I measured it on the first day. But max. we recommend pouring. 3 liters. Although, if soup soup is stewing, I suspect more.
Lyubasha
Hello everyone!!! I want to join you as another happy owner of the Yummy YMC-500V multicooker))))) ....
And right away I want to ask a question as to more experienced users !!! ...
Yesterday I was cooking soup in the "soup" mode, when suddenly, apparently, when the water boiled, it began to pour out of all the holes (I mean the valve, but it flooded the floor of the table) ... ((((... and despite the fact that I poured not to the maximum mark but less
What's wrong? .... or do you need to do something with the valve when cooking? tell me pliiiz
Svett
hmm ... it shouldn't be, it definitely shouldn't,
I think:
1.you need to check the instructions - whether the valve is installed correctly, is it accidentally clogged,

wait what he says IRR
here she wrote:

on my soup milk can snort like that, so I'm already watching ...
I just didn’t try this mode much - although today I was making a hodgepodge (a thick truth turned out), like everything is ok

2. Maybe you should test all modes by pouring water into a saucepan? in order to exclude the possibility of marriage, and if simple water jumps out, then this is unambiguously wrong - take action by running - change or go to a service center

the saucepan is really expensive ...

IRR
Lyubasha, Congratulations . Well, let's figure it out right away. I do not have B, but something tells me that it is Trouble ... Only yesterday I tested this program, but on the water. Everything was about. K. There is a max. 3 liters. Dap poured - 2.2.5? Boiling there is quite active in the "SOUP" program. But run away? Cook on stewing, in Panasonic, too, porridge and soups are cooked on stewing. Apparently you need to adapt to it, try in turn, slowly, all the programs. And write, people should know what to take. Objectivity comes first. Dashing trouble began ... I want to warn you right away that oat flakes are fast. preparations run off too. I didn't, but I read the thread in Panas. While I am careful, I cook in a rice cooker. Lyubasha good luck!
IRR
Lyubashaand what did you cook the soup with? Could it be meat foam? What to discuss, everything is clear. And if at the water stage ... boom look
Lyubasha
I cooked soup with chicken ... everything escaped at the stage of cooking the broth itself ... but it was not the foam that ran, but the broth itself ...
but I think that of course I just poured a lot of water ... up to about 8 and a half
But if you can't cook a lot of soup, it's certainly a pity ((((...
but then she wiped everything off and turned on the "extinguishing" mode and then the water boiled, but not so actively ...
By the way, the question is again ... and in the "quenching" mode should it boil ?? ... or was it boiling for me as immediately after the rezip "soup"?
oh, I hope this is not a marriage ... otherwise the husband will take it back and the other will not buy (((
Lyubasha
Girls, I also want to write that in my Yummy YMC-500B I wanted to make potatoes with mushrooms and cut mushrooms with onions and fried them for 20 minutes on the "baking" program. after which she cut the card into quarters and threw it there, turning on the "potato" program, it seems, for 30 or 40 minutes .... the result was such that after 10-15 minutes my multicooker turned off and switched to heating mode !! ...
from this I conclude that, at least in Yummi, in the "potato" mode, it should be with some water ... because she turned off I think just when the water from the mushrooms has completely evaporated
After such a puncture, I pressed the "Baking" mode for 30 minutes. after which she opened and interfered and repeated the "baking" mode ... and then the potatoes turned out to be very tasty, they were completely ready, but at the same time they did not boil over and did not disintegrate)))))
IRR
Lyubasha, this is most likely just the foam that malfunctioned the saucepan, poured not a lot, so as not to get confused, measure in liters, where porridge is written, and not rice (up to 8?). must boil. The minimum. With potatoes, excuse the puncture. It's good that the casserole is smarter than us, it overheated and turned off. First, on baking, everything is correct, then it was necessary to turn it on for stewing. PROGRAM POTATO - THIS IS A COOKING WITH WATER (tubers should be covered by 2 cm) Prog Potatoes - active boiling.Girls, read the instructions - it is sometimes useful so that the poor casserole is not to blame.
Lyubasha
I can’t resist and talk about my cooking buckwheat with mushrooms (well, since I left them after potatoes). So she took her oyster mushrooms and onions again, and fried it for 20 minutes in the "baking" mode ... after which she poured 2 cups of buckwheat there and poured all 4.5 glasses of water, salt and pepper ... and since the time was late I decided to test the timer in one time ... and set a delay of 10 hours in the "porridge / rice" mode, that is, so that by 9-00 in the morning it was ready .... in the morning I woke up from the delicious smell of food .... opened the lid and put it there a piece of butter and for half an hour to heat up .... mmmmmm ..... oh x and yummy ... I ate three small plates))))
by the way, on the "porridge \ rice" mode, the time does not show

IRR and how does boiling in the "potato" mode differ from the "soup" mode ?? ... actively, as I understand it, boils here and there ... why then two different modes?
I read the instructions ... and I reread the whole topic (probably I am not attentive) ... but in my instructions there is not a single recipe with the "potato" mode ... it is simply omitted and that's it (...
and the instructions also say that there should be two spoons in the kit, but I only have one
IRR
If you want fried potatoes, not stews, then yes - baking all the time. And the soup - it's better to start with the lid open on the soup, remove the plastic foam with a slotted spoon (we don't need nasty things), close the lid and incl. prog quenching.

Yes, porridge-rice does not show time and that's right. It should be so. Here is the program until the liquid is completely boiled away. As for me, the POTATO mode boils more than SOUP. And this is just an orientation towards the Russian market, because for us potatoes are our second bread, Vesely. That is to say, a marketing ploy.
Svett
wow ...
then I am even more happy about my house, although it is scarce there, but every recipe is spelled out
Wait somewhere I saw a scanned instruction for ours, wait I will find a link

about a spoon - yes, two - a ladle and a regular
... here we can already say a specific shortage,
Svett
there are no potatoes in recipes, only on page 9 in cooking with automatic programs it says,
"for the potatoes program, put the peeled potatoes and pour in the water. The water should cover the top of the potatoes by about 1 cm."

I cooked a couple of times without water in this program, it seemed to work out fine, but IRR she pointed out to me, frightening, that the saucepan might burn ... a valid argument ..
Lyubasha
Yes ... I found in the instructions these three words about potatoes .. what am I not attentive))) .... but about the mode of potatoes, there are no recipes just simply because they cannot be ... boiled potatoes and that's all))
By the way, tell me (or I again overlooked that who was already talking about this) in which program do you cook milk porridge ?? ... otherwise today my millet was fried a little in the rice / porridge mode .... perhaps you need "stewing"?
but in Panasonic there is a mode of milk porridge))) ... biting

I now look from your saucepan, mine is also different !!! ... you have two scales, including the measurement in liters, but in my "B" there is only one, it says "caps" (that is, "cups") and that's it .... no liters
