Oatmeal cookies with cranberries and sesame seeds

Ingredients

wheat flour of the highest grade 125 g
oat flakes 75 g
sugar 75 g
egg 1 PC
butter 100 g
baking powder 1 tsp
dried or dried cranberries 65 g
sesame 1 tsp + 1 tbsp. l

  • Oatmeal cookies with cranberries and sesame seedsPut the dough in the refrigerator for 40-45 minutes.
  • Oatmeal cookies with cranberries and sesame seedsShape the dough into walnut-sized balls, dip one side into sesame seeds (1 tablespoon).
  • Oatmeal cookies with cranberries and sesame seedsPlace on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 180C degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Ritus, the best are those that are quick cooking. I did it with "Monastyrskiye", they are felt in the finished biscuits even after grinding, they remain harsh.

Made 1/2 with oat flour (cut on the left) and 1/2 with oat bran (cut on the right).
- I didn't feel much difference in taste.
- I added sesame seeds with flour when kneading, I did not add sesame seeds with bran.
- With flour, the dough is sticky, with bran - less sticky. If, when rolling the balls, lightly lubricate your hands with vegetable oil, there is no problem with either one.
- With flour, biscuits blur a little during baking, with bran - they keep their shape more.
I liked the cookies this way and that, but for the sake of completeness, I'll try with whole and ground cereals.

* I used dried cherries, since I have them soft, I did not soak them in water beforehand.
