Ingredients

Dough
dry yeast 1 pack.
wheat flour 600 g
granulated sugar 120 g
vanilla sugar 1 pack.
salt 1 tsp
margarine 120 g
loose eggs 2 pcs.
liquid (milk + water) 250 ml
Syrup
water 150 ml
sugar 150 g
cognac 30 ml
Cream
butter 200 g
powdered sugar 80-100 g
condensed milk 80 g
chopped nuts
grated chocolate or cocoa
syrup

Cooking method

  • 1. We put all the ingredients for the dough according to the instructions for our bread maker. I have a Panasonic.
  • Basic program for 2 hours 20 minutes. At the end of the mode, turn off and leave the dough in the bucket for another 1 hour. In 3 hours, the dough rises perfectly and reaches the lid.
  • 2. Cook the Syrup. Combine water with sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 5 minutes. Cool and combine with cognac. We mix.
  • 3. Prepare the cream. Combine softened butter with powdered sugar. Whisk. Add condensed milk and beat. The cream should be thick enough. I keep trying to reduce the sugar, but you can add more powder.
  • We divide the cream into several parts, in each of which we add either syrup, or cocoa, or chopped nuts.
  • 4. Put the matched dough on a baking sheet lined with flour. By weight, I got a little more than 1200 g. Divide into about 10 parts of the same weight and shape the buns. Let it stand for about 20 minutes, and in the meantime, turn on the oven and let it warm up.
  • 5. We spread our buns on a baking sheet covered with parchment and bake at 180 g for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown. We spread the buns at a distance from each other, since they rise very well during baking.
  • 6. Let the buns cool. Cut in half, soak both halves with syrup and coat with any cream. Let's soak.

I really wanted to cook a real "Nevsky Pie", but I decided to stop at portioned buns for now. I tried to cook the dough in a bread maker, and I was so pleased with the result that I am in a hurry to share with you, friends.
I added a drop of saffron to the dough for flavor and color. That's right, just a little bit.
It took a long time in time, but in terms of troubles it was very pleasant.
The buns were stuffed with cream with one base, but different additives. We really liked the cream with cocoa and nuts.
