Mojito Apple cocktail non-alcoholic

Ingredients

For 2 servings:
Mint (leaves) 2 handfuls
Lime 1 PC. + 2 circles for decoration
Apple juice (clarified) 100 ml
Schweppes or Sprite 200 - 250 ml
Ice

Cooking method

  • Set aside a few mint leaves for decoration. Distribute the rest of the leaves evenly over the glasses.
  • Cut the lime in half. Cut each half into several slices and put in glasses. Muddle the lime and mint.
  • Pour 50 ml of apple juice into each glass.
  • Fill glasses with ice 2/3 full.
  • Fill glasses with soda.
  • Decorate with lime slices and mint leaves.
  • Serve with a cocktail tube.

The highlight of mojito is cane brown sugar. Without him, it is no longer "Mojito".

Forgive me, of course, if I offended you .. I really love this drink. It is believed that during the time of the pirates, the drink rum + lime + cane sugar helped against diseases. This is the basis of modern mojito. Accordingly, without rum, it will be non-alcoholic. The absence of cane sugar (white will not help) will make the drink similar, but not "Mojito".

But look at the composition of the cocktail and estimate at least an approximate amount of sugar in the ingredients (apple juice and Sprite, for example). It will turn out at least, and maybe more than 15 grams per serving. So if you personally want to sweeten the cocktail, no one can forbid you. But I don't add sugar to myself and my children, neither white nor brown. And so the cocktail is quite sweet, despite the presence of lime.
When preparing the CLASSIC mojito with rum and tonic, we use only Demerara sugar.

I saw your recipe by accident, but as they say, accidents are not accidental. I cooked it very quickly, but for more servings, delicious and funny. And I agree with you - sugar is no longer needed and it is so sweet.

Mojito Apple cocktail non-alcoholic
Here's my recipe, a little improvisation. All that is needed is white rum (if there is an alcoholic drink), traditionally mint, lime, sprite, some ice, and in my version these are peaches, you can use avocado, the effect will be brighter.

Cook like this:
Cut a small piece of lime, a whole peach or avocado and toss it into a container. Add cane sugar to taste and mint. We knead everything. Add ice crumbs. Beat the mixture with a shaker. We transfer to a glass. Add sprite rum if the drink is alcoholic. Decorate with a slice of peach or avocado and a mint leaf. Done!
This gorgeous drink is obtained with softer flavors than the traditional mojito!

Inna, a very interesting improvisation on the mojito theme. I'll try it with rum and peaches when I can drink alcohol again. I also like strawberries. But the watermelon is empty for my taste. Although not for everybody.

Elena, almost like a classic one, only a little less lime + watermelon pulp.
I crush some of the pulp of the watermelon with a slice of lime, mint and sugar mudler. Part of the watermelon - cut into cubes or arbitrarily and simply add to the glass. Rum to taste. From a watermelon, the cocktail turns out to be cloudy - do not be afraid.
