I ground corn flour - well done. You can also grind rice. I always have two such jars at hand when I send bread for proofing in a basket. Rice flour is very hygroscopic, and corn flour is just in case, because something has been deposited in the memory that it is also necessary to sprinkle it

Nastasya !!!Tonight I was in Eldorado opposite the house, so there IS a nozzle that you were looking for with 6 discs (I myself got into the box) there are 2 of them. cost 2390 (in my opinion) well within this. Shop on Kosygin street (opposite the Narodny supermarket). Good luck !!!

I made dumplings today. I took the recipe from the instructions for the bread maker, put a little more flour. The flour is the most common, not the best. Added a bit of gluten. The harvester jumped on the table. The dough turned out just awesome. Almost without adding flour, I drove it through the dough sheeter. I don’t know now whether such a positive result can be connected with Kenwood’s work or with the addition of gluten.
himichka
Yesterday I made dumplings, AMINA flour, great dough. I didn't have enough dough, I kneaded it with my hands. There is no comparison. KENWOOD kneads quickly and very well.

Yes, it's me coEtnic ... I know that there is only one option.

I also used the Food Processor attachment. In principle, I liked it. But the impression "it takes longer to collect and wash than to use" is quite persistent. Maybe I'll get used to it some more.

I still have this impression. If you tune a bowl of vegetables for spinning, then, of course, I'll get a high-speed grater and try on different discs, and if a carrot with an onion, then well, it's nafig, it's better with a knife on the board.

And today, at last, I bought a mill and a rolling mill. Grinding wheat at the finest grinding - grains are still obtained. This didn't bother me much as I pass the whole flour through the sourdough. What about you, dear colleagues?

Girls, I was lost by this Kenwood. I bought A 970 today. Song! My noodle cutter from Promaster is nervously smoking.
himichka
No, girls, I roll the dough for dumplings-dumplings myself well, it was inherited from my mother, probably. True, she stopped making noodles a long time ago, because there is nowhere to dry, although I can cut masterly, also my mother's inheritance.
To be honest, in all our kitchen bells and whistles, one thing annoys me: get out, wash, dry, hide. Kenwood himself stands on the table and does not bother, but when the attachments fall on his head ...
Kalmykova
And you can't wash it! In general, what I also like about Kenwood is the quality of the hardware. You can wash it with cold water - everything is perfectly washed! And rolling dumplings are much faster to make than handles. I also skate well and quickly, but with rolling it turned out much faster. And along with the rolling (I'm bragging about it!) I bought a mill. I ground the wheat, added it to the sourdough - super!

I now have another attachment - a high-speed grater-slicer. I processed 2 cabbages and a few carrots in one minute! Beast!

I read the forum and licked my lips at the Chef, who was KM 010. But I persuaded myself that I’m not that much a cook, and bought kenwood km266, there was a lot of joy, but only before turning on the nest for the citrus juicer. It didn't work. The dough on it interfered for pies, in the end it was a little heavy, the cocktail was super! The meat grinder is good, I ground everything with unhurried dignity, I did not particularly remove the films. Changed, the new one is the same picture. The same malfunction ... Imagine how unlucky it was! The husband said: "Well, buy another one! What you wanted. Since we live ..." I ordered it, I'm waiting. Kenwood KM 010 007 plus high speed grater. And I think: maybe it was better to take a combine for cutting? A?
Kalmykova
What's wrong with this? I bought KM 20 as a kneader - it works brilliantly! And everything else turned out to be a very pleasant addition: a mill - try to find, an ice maker (I don't have it yet, but I plan to), graters, rolling, etc. Where else are there so many nozzles? Where else is there so much power?
Dvasi
Yes, nowhere! Because of the power and forked out in the end! And KM 020 has a bowl of almost 7 liters ... It seemed a bit too much to me.
Didn't fit the first time I meant a kenwood combine attachment instead of a high speed grater. What is more and more used? We do not eat puree soups, but the principle "let it be" is respected. Do you need a harvester?
Freken Bock
I have a Combine attachment. There is no high-speed grater, I cannot compare. But in a food processor I grind tomatoes in mashed potatoes, grate carrots, beets, whatever. In general, I am satisfied. Do you have a video of how it works?
Kalmykova
These almost 7 liters are somehow invisible. But everything interferes! I am only glad that everything fits and does not overflow the banks, especially when I send wheat bread directly in a bucket for cold proofing and the dough rises to the top, but does not go out into the refrigerator for a walk. And the harvester attachment is good!

Please tell me where you want to get the freezer attachment ?? I need more rubbing, but the service told me in Moscow that there are no such attachments for the Majors in Russia. Maybe you have other information ?? 7I'm worn out, I've been looking for almost half a year and can't find it. Thanks in advance.

LET IT BE! Good principle !!! These are slightly different things. I am using high speed. when you need to make a large amount or you need to cut directly into the dishes (frying pan, saucepan, etc.) but do not make dough in it !!! there is no knife! I have both of them and do not interfere with each other. On holidays I use both.

Take another captive of Kenwood 010 into the company. In our family, he was given a name ... Kesha.
We have been using it for a couple of months now, and we are satisfied with the meat grinder and dough mixer and the juicer and blender.
For some reason, a difficult relationship developed with beaters. I just can't decide what to whip / stir with. Every time I doubt what to take for whipping an omelet, for example, a K-shaped or a whisk. How do you determine what to whip?
And then I decided that it was time to please Kesh with new things, buy him (and myself, of course) a couple of attachments. I read you, thank you, a lot became clear to me!
But it didn’t quite come to me with the nozzles for rolling, AT 970A I understood - it only rolls with adjustable rolling thickness. And AT971A ... it cuts right away ... That is, you need to take either two rolls at once or roll for 971 with your hands ???
himichka
K-shaped nozzle is intended for mixing creams, liquid dough. And eggs, whites are whipped with a whisk, I also beat butter with it, quickly and efficiently.

You probably confused not 980, but 998 ...it's just that there is no 980, and the difference between the two is big, although they both shred and tinder, but in 998 there is no knife, but it can work without stopping for more than an hour, and 640 is a combine, in it you can chop and cut dough knead and chop meat, vegetables or something else.
Kalmykova
Maybe you don't have it in Russia, but in our brochure about nozzles, which was attached to Kenwood, it is clearly written AT 980 food processor. True, in the description below it is written in small letters that it is suitable only for the KM 001-KM008 models. Lena V07 also has such a book. But on the disk, which is also attached to the car, Lena wrote a model of the nozzle 980, and I have a 640. In appearance, the nozzles differ in that the 980 has an iron bracket fixing the lid, and the 640 has slightly different lugs on the lid. So we ask for help! Something they (the Chinese) have made us think.

Owners of the wonderful machine, share your opinion about the meat grinder.
I'm going to buy a car as a gift - the main request of the birthday girl is a good meat grinder.
How are things with the meat grinder in Kenwood?
Who uses it often?
What kind of backlash of the meat grinder was mentioned above? (you won't have to blush for the gift, since there is some kind of backlash?)
And yet - I have a Bosch mum, there the knives at the meat grinder quickly became dull and cannot be sharpened. And in general she grinds sickly - it is necessary to press directly on the meat, so that she chews it. How about that at Kenwood?
zvezda
Tronic !!What model do you want to buy, it's just that their capacities are different and you need to ask for this particular model.
Tronic
Zvezda!
Thanks for the clarifications, now I will try to figure it out myself :) I looked at KM 010.
As far as I understand, the owners of this car mostly communicate here? And also a model with a larger bowl - right? These two also have different capacities, right?
Wow, I'm starting to get even more confused.
I hope this is correct:
KM 010 owners - tell us about the meat grinder, please!
zvezda
You see how simple everything is, yes I have 020 and more power, personally I am very pleased with the meat grinder !!! Melet everything!
drying
And I have 010 - the same, I'm quite happy with the meat grinder, but to be honest, I don't often use it, so I can't give a guarantee that the knives will withstand sharpening for a long time ...
Aunt Besya
And I used to just have a Mulinex electric meat grinder with attachments for cutting vegetables. I was VERY happy with her and now, having Kenwood 010, I miss her. Kenwood is worse and the backlash, to be honest, annoys me: However, it copes with the work (It has long been established that any unit that combines several different functions is worse than a mono-unit, so any combine will be worse than just a meat grinder
Ellka
Aunt Besya I agree 100% about the backlash!
After a separate meat grinder, in which everything is tight, Kenwood causes some concern, especially at first, everything seems to be poorly fixed.
But in general, I am satisfied with the work of the 010 meat grinder, I do not even use a pusher ... I throw it over a piece (and not small) ... he swallows it himself))) 10 minutes - 2-3 kg slips.
Bagel
Also not happy with the meat grinder .. I can chop meat only with the largest grill, with the middle one does not pull. And the 640i harvester attachment is flimsy - it already walks
Freken Bock
On the other hand, I am very pleased with the 640. Although she initially struck me too flimsy. I want to knead yeast dough in it, a small amount. Can you, what do you think?

I made bread dough from 500g. flour, it turned out great, and even about the sand ... there is nothing to say at all. I now have a Moulinex meat grinder, I specially took it out and tried both of them at the same time .... nothing can be compared ... Kenwood is better !!! And I have no backlash, everything seems to be fine. 640 the nozzle also scared at first, it seemed flimsy, but it copes with its functions perfectly.
Bagel
By the way, why don't you want to knead the yeast in the main bowl? and what to knead in 640? with a knife? I have 3 graters and a knife for him.
Girulka
Tell me, 20 is the minimum number of eggs you can beat? In general, 6.5 liters is not too much for you? don't you think that you bought such a volume and the power would be enough for 10s and so?

At 640 I want to knead just a small amount of dough. In the main bowl, this amount, I think, will simply be lost, well, for example, it will hang on the hook. I'm going to knead with knives, there is such a method of kneading, it attracts me very much (theoretically)

I think that the 20th in terms of the minimum number of eggs should not differ from the 10th. A bowl of the same diameter, only higher. The attachments are the same, but more authentic. That is, at least 1 egg. The power, of course, at the 10th is quite decent and I can't imagine a situation where I won't have enough. But the volume of 6, 5 liters may well be in demand, say, if you start Easter baking.
Kalmykova
ZHIRULKA ! One egg beats perfectly, only I immediately adjusted the height of all the stirrers (using the key included in the kit). But I have never regretted the volume, especially when I beat eggs or mesh butter dough and put it right in the bucket for proofing. And the power of any equipment should be with a margin, any engineer will confirm this.
zvezda
I agree to all 200% with Kalmykova!!!! I like 6.7 sooo much. Here I made a biscuit with 6 proteins, so that's the thing, but to wash ... PMM washes perfectly !!! And when I crush a lot of salad or cabbage right into the bowl .... and the dough in proofing is also great.
Kalmykova
To be honest, I have never washed a bucket in a PMM - there is no need. It is so easy to clean with just water and a cloth, even after oil, that I somehow wash it all the time.
Girulka
Oh, thank you all! but answer more pzhlsta owners of 20 and 23 of what standard configuration did you have a combine? On some sites, one on another - the head is spinning!
And at the same time a question for almost everyone here has a Berner grater, Duc due to the presence of a new belly in the kitchen - haven't you thrown your grater? (I mean, maybe you don't need to buy different nozzles, grinders there if there is already such a wonderful grater?)

Was there any protection against splashes on the bowl?

Splash protection will be a must with any configuration.

The basis is the combine itself, a bowl, a splash guard, a silicone spatula, attachments for kneading a variety of dough and creams.
I met everything else in a wide variety of combinations.
Zefirka
Girls, what kind of silicone spatula you have? White? For manual kneading / scraping?
I have it, no silicone, quickly melted it, poking it into something hot ...
Kalmykova
Well, yes, not silicone at all. Just plastic. I have it all worn out, because I used it to separate hot bread from the walls of the forms. Where to buy a couple more of these? And there is protection against splashes, but of course, only I don't use it.

But sooo quickly comes into an unpresentable form.

I have Kenwood Chef. First assistant in the kitchen. I have been using it for almost 4 years. I have never failed. I bought many extra. nozzles. Everything came in handy.
Girulka
Only one problem popped up - all the rims were tightened to the size of the bowl (as advised in the instructions), and a round whisk for proteins is not given in any way - the nut is not there, no syudy - the pliers do not even help! I don't know what to do - there really is almost 1 cm from the rim to the bottom !!! HELP! I tried to beat it like that, but I see that it is necessary to lower it!

================
My husband and I suffered for three days over the whisk! FINALLY he gave up to us and we made him rather unscrewed !!!!!!!! I'm so happy! And then the service was already going to visit.
Kalmykova
Try to twist the nut some more. I did it in several approaches until I unscrewed it. The corolla is really the most twisted, but you need to lower it, otherwise one egg will not pick up. And about the size - I have never regretted it! I am especially happy when Easter cakes or dough for several loaves. And in general, the bucket is extremely convenient! I put wheat bread for a long proofing in the refrigerator right in the bucket, so the dough props up to the top. If the bucket was smaller, my dough would be gone.
