Explain to me, please, how does the Panasonic SR-TMB 18 brand differ from the Panasonic SR-TMH 18, SR-TMH 18 LTW, why is it more expensive?
When I bought mine, they explained to me that it was just a matter of the old and the new version, supposedly in the old version, the valve is easier to wash and it seems to be more comfortable to dress, but I have no problems with this, and I wash and put on back - everything is fine. And the inner coating of the bucket is different in color, the new one is darker, but in my opinion, the composition is better on it (not Teflon, but something else), it doesn't scratch at me practically, there is really one scratch on the side - my husband climbed with a fork , but it has no edges and it is clear that this is not a film, but maybe dusting, I don't know, but nothing went further from the scratch.
And the instructions say that some kind of very good was added to the coating. useful substance and it affects the quality of water for the better.
Tatochka
After buying HP, I seriously thought about a multicooker. While saving up money. At the moment in the store where I buy there are Panasonic SR-TMH 18 LTW and Panasonic SR-TMH 18 LTQ. The difference is 1,500 rubles, which is very significant for me. I can’t understand their difference, I would like to know what a birthday is, maybe something really important?
P.S. I read about the differences between Panasonic SR-TMB 18 from Panasonic SR-TMH 18, SR-TMH 18 LTW, but if nothing, why is the price so?
tat-63
Connoisseurs, tell me how long it takes to prepare the pier. porridge?
BlackHairedGirl
On the "Milk porridge" mode for about an hour, and for another hour, I insist on heating. Maybe someone does it differently.
tat-63
Does it mean that it takes longer to cook in a multi time than on a stove? I just can't figure out if I should buy it or not?
BlackHairedGirl
tat-63 In general, I put on the timer in the evening and by seven in the morning everything is already ready, I just hope that the porridge is ready at six. And the hour is heated, until seven.
tat-63
Maroussia! Thank you very much for the detailed answer. The principle of operation, the program is all clear. I'm just a housewife, we have a gas stove, porridge is cooked for 15-20 minutes. And in the cartoon an hour, so I think whether she needs it or not. I'm afraid you will buy it and it will stand gathering dust for no need. And I read the reviews a good thing, but is it for those who do not have time to cook? Or I'm wrong?
tatulja12
tat63, the multicooker will not stand and collect dust. Let the porridge cook for 45 minutes, but you don't have to stand by the pan and watch, so that it doesn't get burnt and doesn't run away. I laid everything down, pressed the button and ... you have fun.
BlackHairedGirl
tat63 I am not idle either. I will say more, she is busy every day. Since then baking, then steamed vegetables, then a swimmer, then porridge in the morning, then potatoes with chicken, then a fish in a tomato ... And all this almost without my participation. No need to be in the kitchen, downloaded everything and is free, you come to the signal. No need to stir, you can even forget about it - still nothing will burn. I even melt the dough in it. Carcass cabbage, make stew. In the morning, you can charge lunch and go to work - set the timer. Great thing. I am not campaigning, I am just telling the facts. Really makes life easier for a busy woman.
olnk2
you understand, it's like a washing machine and a dishwasher.

Yes, you can wash and wash your hands faster and even better. But all these cars will do it FOR you and at a convenient time for you.

for me, the main thing was precisely the presence of a timer for most programs. to cook at night in the morning. or in the afternoon for the evening.
You can't leave the broth on the gas stove overnight, put the pudding at 3 am so that it will be a little warm by morning ...

Hello ladies. I didn't know what topic it would be better to ask - the question was ripe - when you cook some kind of dish in a multicooker, say meat soup, or meatballs in gravy, and all this is not eaten at once - and you can pour it all into another container only after it has cooled completely ? at least my mother somehow taught me this way, especially meat, so as not to sour ... And how then - to quickly wash the saucepan so that the smells are not absorbed ..? And besides, sometimes you want to release it quickly and put something else to cook. How do you get out of the situation?
BlackHairedGirl
Maya I personally like it. I do not bother about this. Sometimes it stands until it cools completely in the cartoon. And sometimes, if I need to put a new dish, I pour it, without waiting for it to cool, into another saucepan. Cools down and put in the refrigerator. Nothing ever turns sour.
mgla
Maya, I confirm the words BlackHairedGirl ... If you pour it into a clean, dry dish (pots, jars, etc.), then nothing negative happens to my products. After cooling - in the refrigerator. And I let the bowl of the multicooker cool down before washing, wash it and use it again.
Maya
Yeah, okay. Thank you. The truth is still some doubts remained. Especially if the soup, if after cooking it remained for some time in the heating mode, then come home and pour it into another pan - it's dumb, it can definitely turn sour ... Or pour it over and boil it on the stove. So then it's a shame that you don't want to boil it once again, the products still lose their appearance and taste ..
In general, I have only a multicooker for a few days, I have not yet made friends with it as expected and a lot of different questions arise

better to do and regret than not to do and regret :) I always shift food from a multi-pot. a clean saucepan, which can still be rinsed with water and soda as a safety net, is our everything.

And if you leave a multicooker in a saucepan overnight, is it not harmful to the body? And for the saucepan?
teflon all the same. Unknown and incomprehensible so far for me coverage

Quote: Marusya29

Do you use Teflon pans? So you leave cooked food there? The same with a saucepan, though I never left it overnight, but I don't think that the principle of preservation changes from the shape of Teflon.
I have no teflon pans
I'm afraid of him. If HP and SMV had a choice with Teflon and without something, they would have taken it without Teflon.
I love cast iron pans. and there was one favorite (for chickens) - so I ditched her (from a great mind !!! - I wanted the best, but it turned out as always)

I do not leave anything in the saucepan, when it has cooled down, I transfer it and pour it into ordinary dishes and into the refrigerator.
I am one of those who are fond of all kinds of bowls with lids: I store everything in them, shift, fold ... I try not to leave anything in pots (any).
BlackHairedGirl
I also never leave overnight. I put it in the bowls while it's still hot.
elena_nice74
Please tell me, I want to buy a multicooker. I choose between Panasonic 18 and Cuckoo 0821, which is better, where there are more functions, because in principle the price does not differ much, everyone just praises the latter very much
Zvezda askony

Apparently Kukushechki are leaders in multicooker.
although noname also quite cope with their goals and objectives.
And the price is more humane

I want to ask several questions at once
1.Is it possible to cook broth with a meat bone in Panasonic and how long, and jellied meat
2.if you make potatoes with meat, then the products are laid simultaneously or separately, the same applies to soups and other goodies

Peace be with you bakers!

People! Answer to the cry of the heart - today (having a 1.5 year old child) I spent 8 hours in the internet choosing a multi, pressure cooker for 8 hours !!!
Help me choose - I honestly read the forum and not alone, but I never got it ((((
Choice:
Panasonic multicooker or Lendlife type pressure cooker (or other)
Given:
The main purpose of morning porridge is to wake up, and she is already here
further, stew and vegetables, so that there is less action, even better if he cooks in my absence (like walking with a child). Well, so that the meat is soft, the vegetables are healthy and not sour
fried and baked goods (as well as jellied meat and other delights) are not yet relevant
it would not be bad to do the yoghurt too.
kitchen 6.5 meters - only one device will enter and preferably more compact
Main questions:
on the forum I came across pressure cookers with different pressure modes and the ability to cook with an open valve - and I still did not understand whether it turns this pressure cooker into a multicooker or not ?! After that, she begins to extinguish for a long, long time at a low temperature ?!
in multi, everything is stewed for a long, long time at a low temperature - right? and is it tasty and healthy?
in a pressure cooker - fast, fast at high temperature - and is this also tasty and healthy?
which saves time more - abandoned and forgotten?

I will be very grateful for the answer! No more strength to read and think))))
Rina
annatao, you can save time in different ways. If you need to "give up and forget" so that cooking goes on in your absence, then a slow cooker.

If you need to be in the kitchen more often and everything is quickly prepared at this time, then a pressure cooker.

If you are with a child, I advise you to think more about the multicooker. You can not get hung up on Panasonic, although it is extremely compact (the same configuration of viscount and yummy).

Your profile does not indicate where you are from. And the choice of multicooker is different in different countries and regions.
SupercoW
annatao, I have three children. multicooker is my salvation! quite seriously.
I'm thinking about a pressure cooker, but so far I'm insanely happy with two mills on the farm. and I never regret that there is no pressure cooker in the house. just want her for a change.

breakfast abandoned in the evening - superb help. the soups cooked while I'm out with the kids - great.
there seems to be no steamer basket in the pressure cookers. I do not use it very often, but I will not give it up either - steamed vegetables, steamed meat.
I also manage to make wonderful pastries sometimes, although there are HP and AG in the house.

I also strongly advise you to pay attention to more budget models. There are a lot of worthy alternatives to Panas now, and you will significantly save money.

I have a kitchen 4 sq. m.
included: two multi, a small rice cooker, a bread machine, an airfryer and a huge dishwasher.
no one else can enter the kitchen, but everyone is satisfied and satisfied.

for me this is also an open question.
at first they said that it turns. now there seems to be information that a pressure cooker is just a pressure cooker.

Not certainly in that way.
in multicooker there are fast modes, there are also high-temperature ones. that's why they are MULTI-cookers. combine a lot of things in themselves.
I will not say anything about the usefulness - this is very subjective.
I personally think that cooking in a cartoon is healthier than on the stove. but personally, my distrust of non-stick coatings in general, completely removes all the usefulness of cooking in a slow cooker.

Greetings!
I want to replace the microwave.
Can you please tell me if it is possible to reheat food in a multicooker? If so, how long will it take for a bowl of soup from the fridge to burn out?
Elena Bo
The multicooker does not heat up. There is a keep warm function, but it is not suitable for heating. There is no substitute for a microwave for heating food.
Rina
You can, like in a regular saucepan, turn it on for heating and turn it off when the product is heated to the desired temperature.

In some multicooker, heating is suggested. For example, there is a hybrid Yunold (which is both a multicooker and a bread maker), but, as far as I understand, it is impossible to set the duration or the desired temperature so that the cartoon turns off at the right time.

Elena, sorry, but you are wrong ... This Panasonic does not heat up .. Now there is a multi with the WARMING function. I have such a regime in 47 Marus. only I don't like using it, a lot of dishes get dirty. It's more convenient for me in the microwave. But there are different situations in life .. if there is no mikruhi, then you can WARM up in the cartoon.
gusto
And for how much does it roughly heat up, is the heating rate comparable to a microwave?
For example, a bowl of soup or a glass of milk from the refrigerator, how long does it take to heat up to hot?

Well, it will not heat up as quickly as a microwave. And I understand what is needed to quickly. This in Panasonic can be warmed up in an hour, if from the refrigerator. But I doubt it will work. It's about minutes. In 3 minutes nothing will heat up except the microwave.

Honestly ... I don’t even know .. never warmed up .. longer than in a micron and wash the pan afterwards ..
Just imagine, in order to warm a glass of milk, you need to pour it into a saucepan ... the saucepan should warm up ... in short, one hassle ... This is only if in a hostel or on a business trip ... and at home ... nonsense comes out.

Now I looked, the default time is 20 minutes and it cannot be changed.

This Panasonic does not warm up.
I will clarify. there is no automatic mode. but you can warm it up and many do it. usually extinguished, and turned off manually ...
the microwave heats up in seconds, cartoon much longer

I welcome everyone!
So I became the happy owner of the long-desired Panasonechka multicooker ...
I want to ask a couple of questions, if someone answers, I haven't looked through, maybe they've already asked somewhere, don't blame me
Firstly, they wrote here that they cooked vermicelli noodles. So they immediately threw it, not into boiling water? into cold water? or milk?
+ how to cook soups?
+ there is 1 cup of porridge for 3 milk for porridge by measure. So is this the minimum specified? And if you do more: ex. two glasses for six, then shouldn't the time change? and there it is not exhibited. I tried to make millet, but it looked like it came out undercooked, the child refused to eat. Maybe I'm doing wrong?
Thank you all for your reply in advance!

Nesya, congratulations on your purchase - this is a very good helper, for me now, when cooking milk porridge and cereals for a side dish, it is generally irreplaceable. I didn't cook noodles, I can't advise anything, but about milk porridge - I cook them all the time, there are little kids in the house. But I do about half of the water, and the other half is 10% cream or milk. Put everything at once (cereals, water, milk) in a cold form in a bowl, add salt, add sugar and add to the "milk porridge" mode. MV squeaked, opened it, add a little butter and unplug it. For about five minutes MV stood with the lid closed and put it on plates. Everything and the consistency of normal milk porridge are eaten, only I did not stand with a spoon over a saucepan at the stove. I wish you success in your further development. And what kind of pastries, and anything for a couple, and stewing ... and so on! Your MV will definitely please you.
Nesya
Thank you for your feedback!
Have you tried semolina?
And at the expense of the soup: how to bring it to a boil? I tried to extinguish, but did not notice that it boiled ...
Rina
The decoy has already been discussed, here HERE and up to 384 posts. If you like a homogeneous porridge, closer to jelly, then the multicooker will do it. But ... if you just need semolina porridge so that the grains are preserved, then cooking in a multicooker is not the best choice.

familiar combination of decree + renovation.

Nesya, sorry for not indicating where I dropped the messages. If you suddenly "lose" the topics you want, there are two options for how to find them.

1. Click on For beginners. What can a Panasonic multicooker do? at the top of your page and get a list of topics where there are messages after yours (if you have not looked at these answers yet).
2. In your profile For beginners. What can a Panasonic multicooker do? at the bottom there is a link "Show user posts" - there you can view all your posts.

I bought a Panasonic multicooker more than a year ago, I used it twice, I did not find anything rational for myself, because I still cook everything on the stove in the old fashioned way.

I would love to sell it, it is in perfect condition.

by the way, the Panasonic multicooker is still under warranty, large by 4 liters

Hello, dear members of the forum! I caught fire with the purchase of a multicooker, I had never used it before and had never seen it with my friends and relatives. I have already read a lot, but I still have questions. Please answer, otherwise I don't sleep at night, I keep thinking what's what
1. The first question is about the manufacturer. Looked at these Redmond models

For beginners. What can a Panasonic multicooker do?
For beginners. What can a Panasonic multicooker do?

In the section about redmond, there seems to be good reviews, but as I understand for some reason, it is Panasonic that is appreciated. Probably the question is not entirely in this section, but the owners of Panasonic can prompt something sensible.
2. In some multicooker there is no bread baking mode, does this mean that you will not bake anything in it, and in particular bread? (by the way, it is not clear from the links above why the Redmond multicooker-pressure cooker does not have the function of baking bread and is cheaper than the previous model)
3. In reviews of Panasonic, there was often such a drawback as a non-removable lid and, therefore, it was inconvenient to wash the multicooker. So if the bowl is removed from the pan, why can't it be washed in this way? What does the non-removable lid have to do with it? Or am I misunderstanding something?
4. Is the time delay function really that important? After all, if you lay food in the evening so that the multicooker turns on itself in the morning, is there a risk that the food will go bad overnight? Especially milk with porridge.
5. I don't understand how to get pastries from the multicooker. For example, cakes. It is necessary to turn the whole pan completely, so until this cake reaches the plate, it will all break? And the same is probably the case with the bowl (if it is removed), too, probably not so simple. How do you get it? And I also read that some of them turn the cakes over to brown the top too. This is generally aerobatics for me
In general, there are a lot of questions, it turned out long, I will be glad if someone answers at least something
mashusik
I have a Panasonic. I wanted to give it, now I'm glad that I changed my mind.

Bread is baked in baking mode, but you need to knead with handles. A bread machine is better for bread. 2 in 1 is neither the one nor the other.

A multicooker and a multicooker-pressure cooker are completely different things. I have an elbee pressure cooker.

A fixed lid is both a disadvantage and an advantage - it opens without problems, everything is always in place, but you can wash it (pull out the saucepan, multicooker in a plastic bag and on its side, and gently wash the lid, but it can be wiped off so well).

The delayed timer is not a bad thing, all the products are there like in a thermos.

Baking from Panasonic flies out without problems and efforts. Or if you want, insert the steamer into the saucepan and turn everything over together - the baked goods remain on the steamer.

I will not say anything about Raymond, but it is not for nothing that Panasonic is more expensive, if it were bad, what kind of fool would buy when others are cheaper and no worse
Rina
This has already been discussed here many times. Once upon a time, Panasonic multicookers cost 75-85 US dollars. It's just that Panasonic was the first to bring multicooker to our markets, for a long time there was no alternative. Over time, multicooker began to enjoy popularity, only the quantity of goods was not increased, but prices were raised to heaven. Panasonic's price is now two or three times higher than the real one. Currently, there is an alternative, the choice is sufficient, and the price range is wide. The popularity of Panasonic is now explained simply - many buy Panasonic out of inertia or unknowingly (in most cases they heard from someone that the Panasonic multicooker works wonders, and want to repeat these miracles already in their kitchen).
mashusik
You may be right. I won't argue, but I wanted to buy another slow cooker to separate dairy pastries from meat and other things. Better yet, I have not seen anything, although if a person did not use Panasonic initially there is no moment of comparison and everything will be fine.
