Souffle Pie Striped Pumpkin

Ingredients

Pumpkin filling
Pumpkin 400gr
Chicken eggs 2 pcs
Sugar 50 g
Potato starch 1 tbsp. l.
Curd filling
Ricotta * 250 g
Chicken eggs 2 pcs
Sugar 2st. l.
Potato starch 1 tbsp. l.
Dough
Sugar 50 g
Chicken eggs 1 PC
Flour 200 g
Baking powder 1 tsp
Butter 100 g

Cooking method

  • Prepare the dough: mix softened butter with egg and sugar, add flour with baking powder and knead the dough well. The dough turns out to be very soft and you can easily distribute it on baking paper with your fingers (I have a form with a diameter of 30 cm, you can use a smaller form, in the original recipe 24-26 cm), place in a baking sheet and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Let's prepare the pumpkin filling: grate the pumpkin on a coarse grater and boil until tender, adding water if necessary so that it does not burn. Then use a blender to make mashed potatoes, add yolks, sugar and starch and mix it all. Beat the whites separately, in a strong foam and gently add to the puree and mix with a spoon until smooth. This completes the pumpkin filling.
  • The curd filling is prepared in the same way. Stir the ricotta with the yolks, sugar and starch, then add the whipped whites and that's it, the filling is ready.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Take the form with the dough out of the refrigerator and put the pumpkin and curd filling alternately in the center of the pie with spoons in a layer on top of each other, in the shape of a zebra. Alternate until the end of the ingredients.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, then cover with baking paper and bake for another 25 minutes at 160 degrees.
  • Remove the finished cake from the oven and cool slightly. Then you can take it out of the mold, let it cool completely and you can cut it into pieces and enjoy the unusual taste of pumpkin combined with the most delicate cottage cheese!

From the specified amount, two forms of fillings were obtained. I have a monster form from Ikea and I counted the dough for 300 grams of flour. Just just. But the fillings .... I had to pour just a casserole into a silicone standard with a hole in the middle.

I added lime zest to the pumpkin filling, a packet of vanilla into the cottage cheese and the dough, I somehow got soooo many dishes soiled, but the result is pleasing. We are waiting
