Colorful bread

Ingredients

wheat flour 540 g
spinach juice 110 ml
beet juice 110 ml
tomato juice 110 ml
salt 2.5 tsp
sugar 3 tbsp. l.
live yeast 30 gr.
butter (melted) 1.5 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • You will need spinach, beetroot and tomato juice. For tomato juice, I ran the tomatoes in my own juice in a blender and strained them through a sieve. For spinach juice - defrosted 6-7 spinach cubes + 50 gr. water, all this into a blender, then squeezed through cheesecloth. For beet juice, I took 2 small beets + 50 grams of water and also a blender - then in cheesecloth. Whoever has a screw juicer will make everything much easier.
  • Colorful bread
  • Then put 1 tbsp in each glass. l. sugar + 10 gr. fresh yeast. Mix thoroughly.
  • The dough will be 3 batches, one batch for each color. For each batch: 180r of flour + mixture from a glass + 3/4 tsp. salt + 0.5 tbsp. l of oil. I kneaded in a Panasonic bread maker for 5-10 minutes.
  • Colorful bread
  • We form koloboks from each batch, cover them with cling film and let it brew for 40 minutes. The dough will rise almost 2 times.
  • Colorful bread
  • Next, we put it in a bread maker, as fantasy tells anyone. I got it like this (from sausages). And let it brew for another 20-30 minutes (the dough will still rise).
  • Colorful bread
  • Then I got soiled on the "baking" mode for 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • It turned out nice and tasty.

And for 180 grams of flour, 10 grams of yeast is not very much?
Fleury80

Yes, I realized that they were alive, usually I add 12 grams of yeast to 500 g of flour, so I asked, but if you're okay, that's fine.

Cool recipe. For many years I have been making bread for my grandson. He's fussy. An ordinary person eats badly. We have to come up with different options.
I use green onions as a green dye, it also gives flavor. And as a yellow-orange - carrot juice. With four colors it turns out even more interesting.
Instead of tomato juice, it is better to use tomato paste. It gives a more pronounced shade.
P.S. I usually put no more than 20 grams per pound of flour. live yeast. But that's my preference. I don't like it when bread smells like yeast.
