Ginger-raspberry sorbet and ice cream

Ingredients

ginger root 4 cm
raspberry 1 kg
egg white 2 pcs
lemon slice
salt pinch
powdered sugar 150 g

sour cream 200 g
condensed milk 200 g

Cooking method

  • So the middle of summer is approaching ... The raspberries are already ripe - so fragrant and juicy.
  • Raspberries!
  • Try sorbet, which combines the taste and aroma of raspberries with the bitterness of ginger.
  • Whisk raspberries into a blender and puree. Rub through a sieve to loosen the seeds.
  • Grate the peeled ginger on a fine grater and squeeze the juice through cheesecloth and add it to the raspberry puree.
  • Whisk the egg whites with salt and lemon juice until frothy. While continuing to beat, gradually add sugar and continue beating until a firm foam.
  • Gently mix with raspberry ginger puree, stirring from bottom to top. Ginger-raspberry sorbet and ice cream
  • Prepare sorbet in the freezer or ice cream maker.
