Category: Festive kitchen

Ingredients

Pearl barley 250 ml
Water 3 tbsp.
Poppy
Nuts, raisins, dried apricots, honey

Cooking method

  • Soaked a glass of pearl barley for half a day. Cooked on the Buckwheat program, immediately threw in the poppy seeds ground on a coffee grinder. Ideally, heat the poppy and add it at the end, of course. After the signal, I threw the nuts, raisins, dried apricots, honey and kept it on the heat. Everything, the kutya is ready. It turned out delicious The next day I poured the leftovers with milk for breakfast and brought to a boil - too

Note

I will describe my experience, it may be useful to someone.

And I cooked kutya from wheat:
2 glasses of wheat, 8 glasses of water. 5 hours on stewing + Buckwheat so that the water boils away. It turned out divinely, like a grandmother in the stove
Liana
I also cooked kutya in the cartoon.
For 1 tbsp of wheat - 2 tbsp of water, in buckwheat mode.
Then I filled in all the goodies, it turned out great!

I cooked in the same way on the Buckwheat mode, only 1 glass of wheat to 3 glasses of water
with preliminary soaking of the wheat overnight.
The porridge turned out to be quite harsh, you can eat, but the pleasure is lame.

Therefore, I added boiling water and put it on for 1 hour to extinguish, then left the heating.
Only after that the porridge became tasty and boiled well.

I took wheat from the Yarmarka firm.

I didn't cook kutya - it didn't work out, but I also thought how julifera darken on extinguishing.
I also like barley cooked in this way.

I cooked the soaked wheat in the multo, in the mode of milk porridge, and then stewing for 1 hour. Very good soft wheat turned out.

julifera, tell me, as if your groats did not "torn" slightly?
And then I also put on Buckwheat, I come and she rushes out of the valve, although the saucepan is greased with oil in a circle, and all so torn, but hard inside ... In general, I went to feed the pigeons. Put the second batch for 1 hour of Quenching.

I copy my experience from another Temka, maybe someone will come in handy:

I want to tell you how I cooked wheat today in Dex in kutya. Everyone knows that kutia is prepared differently in different regions. So, in our family we are accustomed to liquid kutya (wheat + ground poppy seeds + honey + chopped nuts + sugar + boiled water), and for this kutya we need wheat, cooked in such a way that it is soft, but crumbly and crunches a little. teeth, in general, so that there is something to chew, not so much porridge.
And today the first time I managed to cook such wheat in a cartoon, I tell you, maybe, who needs it. Wheat: water - 1: 2, Stewing program - 1.5 hours + 20 minutes was still on heating. Then open the lid to cool. It turned out super-duper kutia, on the stove such cool wheat was not always obtained, whole, soft and crunchy at the same time.

So I want a whole one! Let's see what will be cooked there this time. I have store-bought groats, easily digestible, maybe that's why it was torn the last time?
RybkA
Cooked ... soft, but still some kind of disheveled If I get to the market today, I'll buy it from the grannies.
Uhvatka
I cook in Multa just like Lozja, but my name is not Kutia, but Sochivo, and very much nothing happens. I confirm .. Only I like it softer, without crunching, and therefore I soak the grains beforehand.
I just didn't cook it on the Milk porridge mode, I'll have to try it.
