A pressure cooker? It looks very much like Brand and Phillips, but what are its modes and prices?
tanya123
The declared price is 9,990 rubles. , but for some reason it is not available anywhere ...
tanya123
It turns out that no one else has such a thing?
valfed
I use it for a couple of weeks
took in St. Petersburg for a promotion in a company store 10000-30% = 7000 - passed the old Redmond RMC-M4204 two-year
you can now buy from others for 8400 without a promotion
I can only compare with Redmond RMC-M4204
so far it suits, but I can find fault - I get used to it ...
I'm more used to the pressure cooker and the lid is removed, the rest is if the equipment is working properly.
I think everything that is promised will do - I tried something basic

I took a multicooker as needed - my husband was ulcerative, the doctor prescribed steam food, and this model has a steam cooking program. maybe this function is in other models, but I liked this one for its design - it looks stylish, modern. And I was not mistaken - steam dishes turn out very well. Porridge also turned out well. but with the automatic heating they pumped up a little - I warmed up lunch according to the instructions, I wanted to keep it hot when my husband came home from work, and as a result I got some croutons. Maybe overexposed?
Manna
Heating always dries up the dish, so for more than 30 minutes (well, the maximum is 1 hour), I do not use this function.

Thanks for the advice. Tomorrow I'll try to leave it for half an hour.
gonza68
bought m190 began to cook rice milk porridge according to the recipe te in the multicooker mode after a few minutes from the valve began to spray milk what to do and why tell me so?
Manna
Apparently because the valve was not closed
gonza68
but according to the recipe it is written that you need to cook with an open valve in the multicooker mode
Manna
Oh, those recipe books
This is a pressure cooker. With an open valve, you can only fry and bake ... well, you can also ferment yogurt ... And everything that is close to a hundred in temperatures, then with a closed valve, otherwise it will boil
kuproz
Manna, is it really possible to cook milk porridge in a multicooker mode and even with a closed valve? This is not technically foreseen. Have you already cooked like this?
I cooked for the first time with 2.5% milk, rinsed the cereals very well to clear water. The porridge turned out. Millet groats. There were splashes, but very little, I think I put it on for a very long time. Next time I'll try the book recipe.
Manna
kuproz, I do not have this pressure cooker, so I did not cook in it either under or without pressure. I carefully studied the instructions. I came to the conclusion that this is a classic pressure cooker. That is, without overpressure, only modes with high temperatures (baking and frying), as well as low ones (yogurt). That is, modes with boiling points of the liquid - under pressure. Now back to the milk porridge regimen. In its latest models, Redmond sets the temperature close to 95 ° C in this mode so that the milk does not run out when it boils. If the temperature rises above 95 ° C, then when the valve is closed during vaporization, the lid can be sealed, which will not allow the milk to escape. So ... multicooker with heating element has a temperature range of 3-5 ° C, which means that it is difficult to get strictly 95 ° C. And there is a risk in the mode for milk porridge of exceeding the declared temperature, which happened in gonza68... In this case, the porridge will run, especially if it is made of foaming cereals. Therefore, cooking porridge under pressure is an opportunity to cook it without excesses (including, this can be done in soup modes).

And if your porridge doesn't run, that's great, it means that your pressure cooker keeps the temperature more accurately
kuproz
Manna, thanks a lot for the soup mode tip. I won't dare to cook in the multicooker mode with a closed valve, but the soup mode switches to a pressure cooker, in which you can cook porridge in five minutes. I'll try and write.
kuproz
I called support, they confirmed Manna's words. Indeed, with the multicooker mode for milk porridge, you can close the valve, but this dramatically reduces the cooking time. I think the recipes can be taken from the 110 model.
kuproz
I tried to check the porridge with the closed valve - everything turned out just super. Cooked rice and oatmeal according to the book recipe, attached to the cartoon. The time must be set the same as in the recipe, since it takes at least 10 minutes to build up pressure in the mode for milk porridge, not forgetting to close the valve. 190 I like it more and more. In a pressure cooker, everything turns out incomparably better than just in an ordinary cartoon.
Manna
Well, everything worked out, and you were afraid.

And this is a matter of taste (not everyone likes food from a pressure cooker)
kuproz
Taste preferences are definitely different for everyone, someone just prefers a frying pan with a fat piece of bacon. Multicooker has one plus - you can lay food gradually, I don't see anything else for myself.
I'm steaming vegetables. I cooked in a double boiler, multicooker, just on the stove. After trying it in a pressure cooker, I realized what steamed vegetables are.

I am very pleased, the pressure after cooking quickly decreases, there is no need to bleed off by lifting the valve, the lid is completely removed, washing is very convenient.

few reviews, it turns out, not a very popular model ...
and to me, the other day, she was very praised
Manna
Its price is simply not very attractive. And the pressure cooker, I think, is not bad ... although there is nothing extra special about it.
kuproz
A pressure cooker, like a pressure cooker, performs its functions at 100. In a year, look at the reviews, there will be many more.
Manna
In a year? Smiled This market is constantly enriched with new products. If there are no reviews in the first 2-3 months, then ... no one will wait for a year
kuproz
Despite the abundance of new models, many people want to buy a proven model, and there is not enough money to buy the latest model. At the moment, due to the fact that 190 is still new and there are still few reviews, they prefer to buy 110. Many do not waste time on correspondence on the internet. So the time will come when they will buy 190. No need to make hasty conclusions - time will tell.
Manna

I very much agree with this. Therefore, they are looking for information about the model on the Internet.
And about the new one ... She's six months ... The average price has been stable all these six months. The price is high, therefore there are few reviews.
Uliana
We bought this model for a special offer in a company store (190 + 01). I cooked potatoes with chicken, boiled pork and stew (according to the recipe from Tatyana-Yana from a neighboring forum for 110 models). Everything turned out very tasty. Very happy with the purchase. Fast, powerful enough, quite simple - I mastered it myself, before that I didn't have a multicooker-pressure cooker. But I don’t cook porridge in it and I don’t intend to, for this now there is a little 01. By the way, she is also very pleased and pleasantly surprised by the baby's capabilities.
Uliana
I forgot to write right away: there were no smells from either the small or the large multicooker. In a small one, rather out of habit, she boiled a lemon, and only washed the large one thoroughly. Now - a slight smell of what I was cooking the day before, probably from a silicone ring. But it does not transfer to the newly cooked.

If you keep the lid ajar, the smell will "disappear"
Uliana
In large, this, in my opinion, is problematic - the lid is quite heavy and removable. And in little one I do that.
Manna
And you just turn it over with the handle inward
Uliana
That's it! Century-live, century-study ... Thank you!
kuproz
I always do that - it erodes and dries. It is very convenient when the lid is removable, it washes better.

on the site I saw such an oddity in the description of the mode
Multicooker mode:
• PROGRAM "ROASTING MEAT / FISH / VEGETABLES" - 3 programs for steaming have parameters specially selected in accordance with the type of product (meat, fish, vegetables).

Model owners, is it hot or steam?
kuproz
This description was incorrectly ripped from somewhere. Frying is the function of a multicooker with the lid open, and for steam it is the function of a pressure cooker under pressure. It is better to find directly the operating instructions for this model, everything is clear there, but of course, do not forget about this site - a lot of useful things.
Raspberries
kuproz, I copied this from the site of the official redmond online store

maybe that's why I'm asking a question in the topic about a specific model
Manna
Raspberries, in this model, both modes (steam and frying) have gradations for vegetables / fish / meat. And the description is just "typos"

You can download instructions from this site.
Quite simple. I read it once, tried it and everything is clear, but deviations from the instructions are just in this topic, I mean about porridge. I'm happy, I bought myself a masa for cooking.
Liliza
Owners, can you tell me if the auto heating is turned off? The description says yes. There are several reviews on the i-market that are not
can it be without pressure? and the pressure level is one or more?
kuproz
Auto-heating is switched off by the Start / Heating button. When you, having set all the parameters, click on start, then at any time you can click on the button and turn it off. The button must be pressed and held until the auto-heating indicator turns off. You can cook without pressure. The pressure level is one.
Manna
You can cook without pressure only at low temperatures (below the boiling point) or with an open lid - frying and boiling (very active stewing).
Nadyusha
My sister really wants such a slow cooker. She is pleased with the fact that programs are included both for cooking traditional dishes and for the amateur, for example, children's delicacies - popcorn, yogurt.
1.svetik
So my favorite 110 broke down after working for a little over a year. The service center said that they would return the money because this model is no longer for sale with us. Now the acute question of finding a suitable replacement, has stopped at 190, but there are some doubts in my soul. Help the owners of this model to dispel them. 1.whether the time for pumping is calculated or is the countdown from the moment of cooking the dishes (that is, at 110, when cooking rice milk porridge, I set the value of 3 minutes, but the pumping time was not included) 2. She also simply and quickly cooks like 110 because they have the same power, for example, in some models, beef soup is set for 45 minutes and at 110 for 30 minutes. For soup and pilaf, there is nothing to fry, just throw in and that's it. 3. How the steam release valve works, in mine I got used to it after cooking, I do not suffer to release it on the sly, I just left it for 15 minutes and just opened the lid, the pressure was gone. 4. Does the cup burn something?
Lina777
I have 190. Nothing burns, at least not yet))) I release steam right away - I just put it under the electric hood and turn the valve slightly to the right or left, and within a minute all the steam leaves. And I open it. First, in the pressure cooker, there is a process of pumping or heating, I do not know, then the cracks and the time turns on, usually it is about 5 minutes and the countdown has started. When cooking, you can fry, but you can not ... I like fried onions more, but if you don't want to, then no one will force))) I have it for 2 weeks, did everything - I like it. Only I can't say anything about baking - I didn't have time. Cook the corn for 25 minutes. Children are delighted))) We made popcorn class)))
Uliana
I'll try to answer 1.svetik: 1. The countdown starts after the pressure is set, ie, from the moment of cooking. 2. I can't compare with 110, because I didn't have one, 190 is my first MSV. Whether or not to fry for soup and pilaf is a matter of personal preference. Personally, I haven't fryed anything for soup for a long time, but for pilaf - meat, onions, carrots are a must. Pilaf at 190 is very tasty. I cook meat almost exclusively in it. The baked goods are good. I like to cook vegetables, for example, for a vinaigrette. 3. I do not forcibly let off steam, as well as leave it for 15-20 minutes. In this model, by the way, there is a preliminary shutdown of heating. 4. Nothing burns to the cup, at least not yet. In general, I really like it, but I can only compare with CF without pressure, and this is not very correct. If the information is still relevant, I will be glad I helped.

Different sources have different infa, tell me if there is a drip tray in this model?
Manna
There should be - there is a groove on the back left for condensation to drain into the drip tray. BUT, I did not find a description of the drip tray in the instructions. There is only this:
Condensate removal
During cooking, condensation may form, which in this model accumulates in a special cavity on the body
around the bowl. Condensation can be easily removed with a towel or kitchen napkin.
Raspberries
I clarified that there is no drip line in this model.
Natali198112
In the spring we bought a multicooker - the REDMOND RMC-PM190 pressure cooker, we were very pleased with the saucepan, it cooks quickly and tasty, I even reduce the cooking time a little, because it cooks faster than indicated in the program, now there was one problem, it started to leak the valve, at first it worked as it should , and then he began to constantly release steam, even when the time was already running, that is, the pressure in the pan had already caught up, it hisses, if I press and hold it (with a wooden spatula), then it stops, but does not hold it, but at the beginning This was not, and now it hisses so much that I am scared to leave him and leave, but standing and holding all the time is not a way out of the situation either.
I asked questions on different sites and forums, but no answer, and some even deleted my messages. Once I pressed the valve from above with a heavy object and it did not hiss, it felt so good right away, I thought, at least I’ll do that, but after a while the lid blew open, there was a strong cotton and steam went everywhere around the lid, the multicooker turned off, the protection probably worked. Then she cooked for a while, endured this noise, but decided to contact the service center.
The multicooker has been in the service center for 40 days, said that the valve needs to be changed. So I'm waiting, maybe I can't wait, they are being fed breakfast, that all the valve will not reach them, I already doubt that it will ever reach them. If you are unlucky and have problems, then you are not denied, but they are in no hurry to repair. Of course, I made my conclusion on the Redmond technique, and next time I will not even consider it.
