I also took care of buying new kitchen utensils, because my enamel pans are morally outdated.
After running around the shops and getting my sight from the prices, I got into the Internet, deciding that if I’ll give 1500-2500 UAH (200-300 $) for a couple of pots, then - for a quality item with a name
In ukr. Rondell's website came across this review: ...

I am so sorry to buy the Champagne Series Ceramic Non-Stick Rondell Swirls. The coating burned out after the first frying of the pancakes. Frying, counting on non-stick properties, is possible only with a significant amount of oil, otherwise everything sticks and the coating burns. In general, I do NOT highly recommend it!

Apparently there was a fake.
I bought a Kenwood frying pan with a ceramic coating for testing. Half a year already. Frying pancakes on it is a sheer pleasure. And dishwasher easy to clean. I'm thinking of buying more. We sell a lot of Neoflamov dishes with ceramic coating.

And here is a fake, you write about Kenwood, and I about Rondell. Each manufacturer has its own ceramic coating composition.

I have a kettle at the bottom of the joint. Firm fake for Berhof (probably China) The whistle burned out after 0.5 years. Appearance lost due to abrasive cleaning. But nowhere has flowed and he is already about 13 years old.
Teen_tink
I also have a fake with a whistle, and also a joint - for 4 years it serves normally, the whistle has not yet burned out, of course, too, scuffs from the washcloth outside.
And now I have pans with ceramic coating - they gave me 2 Bergoffs and one Winzer. Everyone is comfortable, but I like Berhoff (die-cast aluminum with an integrated divider platform). Although they have one thing for me - the side is too rounded - sometimes there is a need to turn something over quickly, and I chase the "cutlet" with a spatula ... I have a gas stove, these pans are convenient for her. But still heavy, especially with lids. You cannot cut them with a knife, but the iron spatula passes.
I keep the enamel pot at home without fail (1 for brewing herbal infusions). And there are different pots (stainless steel) ... but in essence they are almost never used ... replaced the cartoon ...

Nobody argues, you shouldn't be so indignant. I meant try to buy another company. I don't know how good Rondell is, we don't sell that. But, if the ceramic coating burned out in the pan, you should think about the quality of the goods of this manufacturer. Here, for example, Kenwood also brought.

You cannot cut them with a knife
I weaned myself from such a procedure, even using Teflon, from which I am now slowly but surely trying to get rid of it.
Teen_tink
Caprice, I have weaned myself for a long time from the knife, with the same Teflon ... but did I get rid of those pans? ... no ... I still have a pancake ... it's small, I use it 3 times a year I bake ... the size of the patches is too small, that's why I can't enter ... and it's inconvenient to even give away the used one ... but it seems to be too early to throw it away ... so that it collects dust from me before Shrovetide ... just for lovers of small pancakes ...
Caprice
I, unfortunately, have not completely got rid of Teflon either. It is very expensive to do this as a one-time action, and it’s a pity for some little things. But even Tefal could not stand the test of the dishwasher, therefore, nevertheless, I will have to get rid of it. And thin pancakes are much more pleasant to fry in a frying pan with a ceramic coating. They just bounce off her.

Who is in search - pay more attention to the companies Moneta and GreenPan.
They have ceramic coated pans.
Greenpan has been on the market for a long time, expensive and high-quality dishes.
And the girls bought the Coin on our forum, praised it.

For Berhoff with ceramic coating, I can personally say - yes, good stews, the coating did not deteriorate visually, but after half a year it seemed to me that it began to stick a little, I thought that it seemed to me, I waited for my mother to pass half a year with the same stews.

In short, the conclusion in the end - after a year of using the bergof - definitely sticks to the bottom even with a large amount of oil, but not to death, so for now we tolerate it.
But I feel that I will look for GreenPan later to replace it.

It's just that such a massive influx of "world" brands, from which all the grocery stores and prices are bursting, prompts one to think.

It reminded me of the 90s and the myriad of "Italian" boots in the clothing markets

Girls, and I use stainless steel from the Zaporozhye plant. True, the bottom of the entih pots is not thick. But they have been operating for 30 years and everything is like new. And one saucepan is 50 years old! (Go crazy !!!!)
And how much they burned ... - you wash it, boil it and again it shines again.

What kind of stove do you have?
On my electric, thin-walled dishes quickly deform the bottom

Girls, don't buy the Green Pen pan! A year ago, after a painful search for a frying pan, I opted for this company (an environmentally friendly coating that is safe for health, a long service life, design, etc.) She pleased me for 4 months, then everything began to adhere to it terribly, although I exploited correctly (I did not put a hot pan under cold water, did not use strong detergents, did not overheat, etc.), by the way, she did not lose her appearance, unlike the previous Winzer, which all peeled off again after half a year. I wanted to buy Rondel, but after negative reviews I changed my mind and now set my sights on the German company Silit. If someone enjoyed write your opinion whether it is worth the money it is worth.

And I really need a big good CAST IRON frying pan. I don't want Ukrainian - I already have it. Vitesse ??? There is their cast-iron goose maker - nothing, but not great and food sticks to the bottom. I don’t know who makes good cast iron cookware.
julifera
Crook - thanks for the tip, otherwise my dad is about to buy this GreenPan. It's good that I dissuaded him so far, said that it is better to wait for New Year's discounts and promotions.

So far, only Monenta remains from the contenders.
I do not take German Silit into consideration yet, they are too expensive - to give 150-200 bucks for 1 unit the hand does not rise ...

In what cauldron I tore, a week ago ...
3.3 liters, cast iron, finished with 2 layers of enamel, stainless steel lid, also finished, very heavy ...
I have already tried it, made pilaf in it, it turns out great, for this I bought ...

And the quality, the company guarantees -KitchenAid ...

Kalmykova, yes, it's better not to drop that lid, that the cauldron, the father's heavy ...

Rina
Pakat, correctly could not stand it. Still, nothing better than normal cast iron has not yet been invented.

And I bought myself such a form for bread BergHOFF with a ceramic coatingCooking utensils (pots, pans, lids for them)

The cook, me too. as I saw immediately I bought it, it turned out to be very convenient. Firstly, there is no need to lubricate with anything, the finished bread flies out instantly and there are no traces left (no need to wash).
Margit
The inner enamel coating of cast iron cookware is not entirely practical. I have a huge cast-iron gosper with an outer and inner coating that is not used because there are chips inside, there is rust under them and it cannot be removed, the taste of food. Whoever has such cast iron will understand me. And also fragments of enamel can get into food, and this is very dangerous for health, therefore it is not recommended to use damaged enamel dishes for cooking. The best is cast iron cookware without inner em. cover. Without an inner coating, there will be no chips, and there will be no rust.
Tanyusha
These are the dimensions of my form, external size: 32.5x15.5x7 cm
inner size: 23.5x13.5x7cm

Pakat
Margit, everything is correct, but if the coating is of high quality, do not hit it with metal slotted spoon, observe temperature conditions, do not pour water or oil into a red-hot iron, the coating lasts a very long time ...
Tanyusha
Back in Soviet times, I had a cast-iron set covered with enamel, 2 pots, a frying pan and a duck, as a result, over time, the enamel chipped even a little bit and rust appeared, I had to throw it out, the last one went to the trash heap.
Margit
Pakat, that's right! I wrote to the fact that cast iron cookware (uncoated) is eternal and only gets better over time! My gosyatnitsa is over 30 years old, during which time any coating will become unusable. If it were not for this coating, I would still use it, but it’s worth it, and I’m sorry to throw it out and I can’t use it.
tanya1962
Still, I'll probably throw it out, I'll follow your example.

I can not resist - I boast: my husband gave me a frying pan Moneta on NG

I, too, always bake boiled pork in my sleeve in a goose maker.
And if you compare with simply baked in the sleeve, does it turn out tastier?
And then I have such a goose maker idle - I bake a goose or duck in it once every five years, and make boiled pork in my sleeve on a baking sheet.
rusja
In the goose maker it is simply more airtight, in case the sleeve breaks, then fat will not leak out of the goose maker and will not burn. And the temperature remains longer, less time is needed for cooking. These are technical details, and I think, who is used to what, I just like the taste more and I’m already used to making it in the gosper.

Ladies - owners of frying pans MONETA, tell me, is it possible to fry in a dry frying pan? For example, semolina cakes from or pancakes (I add butter to the dough, and fry without it).Does the MONETA coating deteriorate from this? I want to buy a frying pan, but I doubt it after a bad experience with Rondell.

Pogremushka ! You can fry without oil, just don't make a big fire. My surface is like new, but I only use plastic spatulas. In the summer, I roasted zucchini almost dry.

Share your experience. I used to take Berhoff (the frying pan "went away" in 2 years) and Winzer with a porcelain stoneware coating ("ate" in 3 years). In principle, Winzer suits me, but his frying pan for 100 UAH. it turns out more expensive and if there is not much difference, then I would not want to overpay. Thank you

Somewhere on the internet, I read that these pans cannot be heated very much without oil, but at medium temperature - I think it is possible, although I have not tried it myself
Before baking the 1st pancake, I still lightly grease the pan or the pancake hollows with butter - I'm so calmer

Ceramic coating is a composition obtained by sol-gel technologies. In the course of the sol-gel process, the chemical composition of the sol is formed and then converted into a gel. The sol-gel process is used to produce ceramics with special thermophysical, optical, magnetic and electrical properties. The ceramic coating has environmental friendliness, safety, high thermal stability (450 ° C), fragility of non-stick properties, degrades when exposed to an alkaline dishwasher environment, has medium abrasion resistance.
