Viburnum syrup

Ingredients

viburnum juice 1 l
sugar 1.5-2 kg
lemon acid 6-10 g

Cooking method

  • Mix juice with sugar and put on fire. Bring to complete dissolution of sugar. Boil for 5 minutes, regularly skimming off the foam. Then add citric acid. Wait until it dissolves and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Pass the resulting syrup through boiled cheesecloth into pre-sterilized bottles or jars. Roll up.

Note

This syrup is a salvation on cold, icy days. Add a teaspoon to tea to prevent colds.
For colds, make a viburnum-raspberry juice.
It is better to collect viburnum after the first frost, then there will be less bitterness. Or just put it in the freezer for a few minutes.

Don't get sick and drink delicious tea.
