I want to supplement the recipe: today I cooked pearl barley on the Jellied mode for 30 minutes. The pressure was 3-4. Amazingly boiled, the lid is sterile, the walls are also quite clean. I left it on heating for 7 hours.

I think that it is better to cook milk porridge on the Jellied mode.

Excellent porridge. Interesting ... so I have not cooked barley yet ... I only eat barley on water I should try it.
And if in a separate bowl for a couple of such cook just a little bit ??? They don't eat my pearl barley, categorically

Tanya - yesterday I had 350 ml of milk - the rest 450 ml was water (and in my own recipe they cooked only in milk) - everything is in our hands
I didn't get such a big portion - for 2 times ... Or for 2 people
My son, too, I don't eat pure porridge - stupid yet ... And I'm just as passionate as I love barley ...

Be sure to try - other cereals (rice, millet and others) were not nearby ...

Added a change in the recipe - it is better to cook on the Jellied mode for 30 minutes.

In Panasonic I cooked such porridge on the Stew mode, and then until the morning on the Preheat, it turned out porridge with baked milk, very tasty, I think it is also possible here, on the Jellied mode, and then on the Preheat, so that the taste is melted. Thank you for trying the Jellied mode, now I will be bolder to use it.

And for me, after the time the porridge ran away, I was afraid to cook milk porridge, and I kept going in circles around the recipe, looking like a cat at sour cream. I still want to risk it again, m. in the cold, there will be no such problem. The only question is, why did they soak for so many hours, I did not soak in Ourson-5005 (though I cooked barley for a side dish), and in other CBs they do not soak. M. b. and it is not necessary to soak cereals for so many hours?

I, too, had a fear that he would run away ... Cook on the Jellied mode - well, it shouldn't run away ... My saucepan and lid were unusually clean after that ...
And as for the long soaking, I put barley in the soup without soaking and it boils well in 40 minutes ... But porridge is still different ... Therefore, I have so many dances with tambourines, so that the taste is softer ...

Hello everyone. I read on the Multicooker ru that milk porridges cook well and do not run away in the "soup" mode, and crumbly ones - in the "porridge" mode. Today I cooked semolina, just not in the bowl itself, but in a glass bowl for microwave ovens, put it on a steam stand and poured 2 mst into the bowl. water. Everything is fine.
