And in manual mode, is there such a temperature?

Here I am about the same! There is no such temperature on the manual! Probably, we are offered to try baking on the "frying" mode Although I had such a thought, but only the instructions say that the lid cannot be closed in the frying mode
Dadusya
You can try this - close the lid, but do not turn the lock

What's not to like baking? It bakes like Panasik, for a long time, but good.

Well, sometimes you just need to hurry. (I didn't have Panasonic, but it was different, it baked faster and the same good). And just in general, you always want the best. Therefore, I would like to actually be able to set the temperature higher on the manual to make all dreams come true, so to speak
Bishka

Well, yes, you can, but it's scary, what if something goes bad

It's just not clear why IrinaZ writes about 150 on the manual? What is it confusing or did you really try to bake in the frying?
Tanyulya
And it seems to me at higher temperatures, we can get a denser and thicker crust. Well, this is purely my opinion.
Bishka
I'm just starting from the experience of using another pressure cooker, where the temperature on the baking was clearly higher and the result was always excellent and fast enough. And what exactly the temperature was there, I do not know. It just seems to me that on Brand the temperature is lower than stated on baked goods, or higher on others. In the subject, by the way, I have already met similar complaints.
I found for example:
Quote from: Elena Bo on June 24, 2013, 21:45
Vichka, Chocolate on boiling water at 6050 baked for 59 min. at Baking. Maybe so here. I'll try it sometime.
Flax, I baked at 6050, I like it, but here it turned out 1 hour 10 and the result is not very good.

My body does not perceive meat, it seems that it has ceased to perceive pure eggs and wants to give up fish. I eat it a little bit and rarely.
Irin, with me on you
Recently, numerous studies have been conducted around the world to study the changes in the body that occur after giving up meat. So, it has been established that cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, kidney disease, obesity, food poisoning, hypertension, Alzheimer's disease, gout and many other ailments are found among meat-eaters many times more often than among those who do not eat meat. While it is difficult to give up meat, experimental results indicate that, like sugar and chocolate, meat may also have drug-like properties. Studies have shown that people who switch to a lean diet lose weight effortlessly. Their blood cholesterol level often drops significantly, diabetes, hypertension and other diseases recede and in some cases even completely disappear. However, such people often have anemia and a decrease in the reparative (i.e., restorative) abilities of the body after injuries and serious illnesses. So you need to listen to your body - if it doesn't want to, then you shouldn't stick into it. But in case of diseases, all - it is worth eating a broth of meat or chicken, it greatly increases immunity and reparation (also determined in studies). This means that a pressure cooker is definitely needed. I just can't decide which one.

Girls, your advice is very necessary. Since I don't have bowls for Brandik 6051 in Ukraine, but I want an additional one, I wanted to ask.We have a steel bowl in our joint purchase, it is written that it fits to 6050, but will it fit to 6051? Or bowls are not interchangeable. I measured the parameters that were given, then the inner and outer diameters coincide, even the diameter under the rim is the same, but the height is 5 mm larger in Brandick, so it won't work? Will the cup not reach the ten?
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
Irina, 6050 to 6051 will not work.

Girls, can't Brand be used as a slow cooker? I haven’t tried the manual mode yet, but it seems like you can set the temperature from 25 degrees to 6 hours. Or am I missing something? I keep trying to dissuade myself from Shteba.

Can you please tell me where in St. Petersburg you can buy a bowl for Brand 6051 and a silicone ring on the lid? And another question, if there are steel bowls in 6051?

I would like to say on the Baking function at 6051 the temperature is 125-130g.
Higher temperature 150 gr. for Baking, we expected the hostesses to use it in Manual mode.

I apologize a little, I confused with our new model 701, where manual can be set up to 150g
We did not plan to increase the temperature on baking at 6051 yet, on the contrary, on the advice of the hostesses, we set 125-130 gr.

Sorry again for the disinfo.

As much as possible - lately, this is the only way I have been doing meat - I put the meat for 8 hours at night at T from 85 to 80 degrees.

You can also like a slow cooker! I cooked cabbage soup by hand according to the following scheme: Stage 1 105 '30 min, Stage 2 90' 10 min, Stage 3 85 '6 hours.

Stewed cabbage soup tastes completely different! Well, of course, I'm not going to torment borscht, in borscht I don't like when cabbage is overcooked. But borscht and cabbage soup are different things! However, I also love cabbage soup in slow cooking mode. They are richer as if from the oven.

Multicooker-pressure cooker Brand 6051
Bishka
Dear forum users! Here I have such a problem: I cooked milk porridge (rice, then oatmeal) and noticed that the porridge turns out as if the milk curdled during cooking, as happens when the milk is sour, although the milk is fresh and absolutely not sour. Cooked not on a delay, but immediately. Mode mol. porridge, 70KPa, 15min. Now I can't remember whether this happened before, but it seems not. I don't understand why this is so! What can you say about this? Maybe some powdered milk has become?
Dadusya
Do you set the pressure to 70kPa yourself? On Milk Porridge, the default pressure is 30 ... Maybe because of the high pressure, the milk curdles?

Quote: Bishka

I set the pressure myself. But, it seems, others cooked milk for 70, not only on a low
Quote: Tanyulya

Milk is best cooked at the default pressure... It turns out very tasty, this is my most delicious regime.
Quote: Bishka

Does it curl up on a high one too?
Quote: Tanyulya

Well, I have not tried it on a high in Brandos, so the porridge does not turn out the same consistency as I like.
Quote: DVK

On the subject of milk curdling - pressure of 70 is cruel
Quote: Bishka

It may be cruel, but you can put less pressure on ours, and on most conventional pressure cookers the pressure is only 70! Milk porridge is also cooked there.
Well, in general, I will experiment more.
kotch
Tell me please, in what proportion do you cook buckwheat? I can't get buckwheat .... it turns into an incomprehensible mass. I cook 1: 2

Quote: Tanyulya

I always cook buckwheat 1/2, on Groats, the default pressure is from 9-12 minutes(I did not notice a strong difference in the final result). We eat with butter, cook for breakfast.
If you need a little drier for a side dish, then cook 1 \ 1.5. But I like 1/2 better, I cook naturally in water.
Quote: RepeShock

I always cook buckwheat 1: 1.5. good, not overcooked buckwheat turns out.
Quote: DVK

Buckwheat on the water - 1/2, in milk - 1 measuring cup for a standard carton of milk (like 1/5 turns out).

Girls, and I have a new thing for a pressure cooker. I ordered a stainless steel saucepan for a shtebik from Polina from the forum in Ukraine, but it turned out to be 5mm higher and ideally suited for the brandik. Yesterday I was already making mashed potatoes and squeezed right in the bowl. The beauty!
Quote: Manna

Irina, and what, the bowl fits? And in the shape of the bottom?
Quote: Vichka

Lucky! Is the bottom the same?
I didn't measure the bottom on purpose, but it was just as straight and even. I cooked, everything is fine, so I am happy as an elephant.
Still to pick up a non-stick. Then the girl wrote that she came up from Panasonic, but my pen did not turn, literally the difference is a couple of millimeters.
And the shteba has the same bowl, only 5mm lower. Also looking for a non-stick one for her. We have a hard time with this, only Polaris and Redmon bowls.
Quote: A-liona

Irina, where does Polina get them?) I also want a stainless steel)
Alena, I do not know where she takes it. Ask her in Temko. The bowls are Chinese, maybe somehow directly.
Quote: A-liona

And where to find Polina with her Temko?)
And you HERE!
Quote: A-liona

Irina, thank you
Quote: Olekma

You can search in Chinese Tao Bao, everything is there.
Quote: A-liona

You can, but I can't know if it fits in size or not ?! In general, really, you need to look)))
Or maybe Redmond stainless steel bowls can fit? It is necessary to walk around Temko, look for someone else of such sizes. Do you still have nekovye, they don't produce stainless steel?
Quote: Manna

No, only aluminum ones.

Good people gave a multicooker to my mother-in-law on NG. She likes everything - now she is going to do in her canned fish... A recipe for cooking is VERY needed - who knows how to cook - tell me pliz !!!

She found a recipe in the net where it is necessary to cook for 4 hours on stewing - but this is for ordinary multicooker - in Brand, after all, during this time you get porridge.

Quote: Aygul

I did not do it in Brand, but in another SV, but 40 minutes was enough. my husband liked it sooooo much (I don’t eat that myself), said that we wouldn’t buy it anymore.
I've already sort of found a recipe from Tanyulya - https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=299007.0 At the end it says that canned fish are also made. Is it really possible right in the banks and they will not burst ?!
Quote: Aygul

it is possible in jars, they will not burst, we still pour water into the bowl itself, the cooking time for Tanyulya, by the way, is 60 minutes.
I did it right in the bowl on a vegetable pillow, water to cover the fish, but this was me so that it could be eaten right away, not for storage
Quote: vernisag

I do canned fish directly in cans, everything turned out great.

Denis, I have been looking for a recipe for cooking fish that looks like canned food from the store for a very long time. I've tried so many things !!! And I recently found it. Now for all salads with fish I prepare the following "canned food":
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=65027.0
A recipe for a multicooker. Made in MV Brand for 4 hours. But in a pressure cooker it turns out much faster. Here is my photo report:
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=65027.0
(Pressure -1 in Polaris is 40 kPa)
I highly recommend it! (I've already given this recipe to my mom.)
The question is simple - fish with spices in jars in a cartoon with water. Meat mode 1 hour - will it be enough for fish?

In short, the mother-in-law is delighted with the canned food - the fish turned out amazing in an hour and a half. Well, plus - another half hour to set and release pressure - a total of 2 hours.Previously, she made canned food in cans using a special clamp and cooked them in a regular saucepan for 7-8 hours, while it was necessary to top up with water. And then he put it and forgot. This is to the question about the cooking speed - just a pressure cooker needs to reach its design capacity, then it cooks faster than enemies!

And they cooked right in swirling jars like me?

I recently got this multicooker-pressure cooker. I cooked on it already a little according to the recipe book. And so I had the following question: for example, in the "Milk porridge" mode, the default pressure (if I'm not mistaken) is 30 KPa. And the book says "cook with high pressure." There, in general, it says about all dishes that you need to cook at high pressure. I realized that at high it is at 70 kPa. And for porridge I set this value. And then here on the forum I saw that, like, they cook for 30. So how is it right? And then what does "high pressure" mean in a recipe book? Just having pressure at all?
Elena Bo
High pressure means that the pressure cooker operates under pressure, i.e. the lid is locked. The pressure itself is different for different modes.
miss-777
Thank you! Of course, this thought came to me later, but somehow hesitantly ...

Multicooker works under the usual pressure of 1 atmosphere or 100 kPa - water boils at 100C. Everything above is already a process of cooking under pressure (pressure cooker), whether it is at least 10 kPa from above (total - 110 kPa, water boils at 102 ° C) or 70 kPa (total - 170 kPa, water boils at 111 ° C). Therefore, conventionally, any pressure in a pressure cooker is called "high".
miss-777
Denis BR, thanks for the detailed answer! That is, if I understood correctly, the pressure at max is actually not 70 kPa, but 170 kPa?
Denis BR
Quite right! We live at a pressure of 1 atmosphere (760 mm Hg). Therefore, water, whatever it boils in, it will actively boil at 100C. In a pressure cooker, we artificially increase the pressure to 70 kPa (inside the device) + 1 Earth's atmosphere = 170 kPa. Water boils at 111C-112C, reducing the heat treatment process several times. The most illustrative example is cooking stew. In a multicooker, it needs to be cooked for 7-8 hours (I can't vouch for accuracy). In a pressure cooker - 1 hour 30 minutes.
YanOchka-
Denis you explain very clearly, simply and easily. At one time you were sorely missed. Obviously, there are still irreplaceable people at their work !!!

Hello.

It is difficult to enter large offline stores due to the large number of such equipment. We are trying, but so far we have the highest activity in online stores. Please write in which stores in your region you would like to see our products.

ksenia_br, thanks for the answer, I think that it would be nice for you to "get" on the shelves of such giants as Eldorado, MVideo, the same Citylink (not advertising).

And about a large number of similar equipment, I probably agree ... but the niche of relatively inexpensive good pressure cookers is not yet occupied here (even Redmond has nothing to offer here), I think it will be rapidly filled with such new "old" brands, such as vitess `a.

Girls, but at least some bowl, except for the one in the kit, is suitable for 6051? Maybe someone tried it on? I would oblige the creator of this bowl to cook in it for life, as punishment for the invention
Roza_Irina
I bought a bowl from Liberty MP-900, non-stick. Truth fit so tightly and the handle turns tightly. But he is gaining pressure and preparing in it normally. I haven't found the ideal one yet to fit, and the original ones are simply not sold here. But I do not cook in it all the time, then the bowl still does not seem to stick, but it infuriates the cells to wash, especially when potatoes are cooked in milk.
irina23
Good morning everybody! I put the rice milk porridge on a delay, got up 10 minutes earlier in the morning, steam came from the small valve, the pressure showed 40.
I turned off the program, tried to dump steam manually, steam did not come out of the drain valve. The pressure has dropped but the lid is locked and will not open. I tried to lower the float with a toothpick, it did not work, After 1.5 hours. No changes happened. What to do, sv service center with porridge? There is no Brand service center in our city.
Elena Bo
What small valve is this? There is a pressure relief valve on the handle, a weight and a float.
See if the float is up or not. If it is raised and prevents the lid from turning, then press it firmly with the same toothpick. If it is lowered, then twist the lid, nothing holds it.
irina23
Elena BO, thank you very much for your advice. I came home from work in the evening everything worked out, pushed the float with a wooden stick with force. The first time like this, the porridge spattered the whole lid and clogged the float. I will no longer put milk porridge at night, only under supervision.
