Hot smoked chicken (Brand 6060)

Ingredients

Chicken weight up to 2 kg. 1 PC.
Salt
Seasoning for chicken
Chips (I have an apricot) 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Wash the chicken well. Dry.
  • Rub with salt and your favorite chicken seasoning.
  • Then put it in the refrigerator for several hours. I got 6 hours.
  • Install a wood chip charcoal cup and place 1 tbsp. a spoonful of chips. Close the lid.
  • Pour about 100 ml into the bottom. water. I took hot water.
  • Take out the chicken and dry it thoroughly.
  • Place on a wire rack and place in a saucepan, preferably so that the chicken parts do not hang over the chip bowl (if possible).
  • Close the lid. Select the "hot smoking" mode.
  • Set the time to 45 minutes and press the "start" button.
  • The chicken turned out to be very juicy, very tender and with a bright smoked aroma.

Note

I will share my observations:
= cooking time starts immediately
= at the 5th minute, there was a hiss and smoke from the pressure indicator
= after another 3 minutes, the valve closed and further cooking took place without smoke and noise
= if the pressure is not forcibly equalized at the end of cooking, it will equalize by itself after 5 minutes.
