  • We put the saucepan in the slow cooker and turn on the "Fry-vegetables" program. And again I am not writing the program time, it all depends on the juiciness of the initial products and the level of your favorite roast. While the saucepan is warming up, we are engaged in juicy and strong red maiden carrots. If you own a Burner grater, it will take you a few seconds to turn the carrots into strips. And if this happiness has bypassed you, do not grieve, any grater will do, if only not in mashed potatoes. It's just that the straw looks so elegant in the first courses! Pour a tablespoon of oil into a preheated saucepan and spread the carrots. Let it roast.
  • At this time, applying all the talents we have, we send our beloved husband to the cellar or to the balcony to pick up frozen sauerkraut. Darling, of course, will grumble how tired he is at work and cry that he will be covered with a crust of ice while getting this precious product, BUT do not fall for his tricks! Salt + black ground pepper + a teaspoon of sugar (I put it in almost all dishes, it perfectly emphasizes all their nuances, and deeper reveals the taste of this dish) + turmeric (it will give a subtle aroma of the East, and drops of fat, which will later be furrow the surface of our dish, they will acquire a pleasant sunny lemon shade). We heat spices with vegetables for just another minute.We spread the remains of cabbage, harvested with such difficulty and half-eaten in the heat of cooking, on top of the stewed vegetables and turn around with a puzzled look to my husband. He averts his apologetic eyes and adds momentum to the process of washing the peeled potatoes.
  • Crystals of brine on cabbage in small tears flow down onto the vegetables, which means it's time to spread the meat, and on top of it the potatoes are cut into rather large pieces. We change the "Fry-vegetables" program to the "Stew-1.5 hours" program. Add boiling water to the saucepan up to the upper mark. We close the lid and go to enjoy our favorite TV series, while the family nervously defiles from the kitchen to the room, drilling you with an impatient look.
