But! I warn you that grapefruit chello is more steamy in production, and in taste - with a fair bitterness! I make it for the Schweppes fancier bitter (the tonic is so bitter, carbonated).
I buy the densest pink grapes. It turns out cool from green sweets + limes, from yellow grapes. But you can confuse the color later and give something else. Well, you get the idea, right?
I take a can of 800-1000 ml, a can of 3 liters, 3 huge pink grapes, 2 lemons from Limoncello without a skin and without a white rind (I always have), two bottles of vodka 0.75 each. Sugar to taste, vanilla a quarter of the pod shell (sometimes).
Make sure that there are no warnings that the peel of the fruit is not worked off with completely poisonous means !!!
1. Carefully wash my grapefruits, with households. soap with a brush, scald with boiling water, wash again with a brush.
2. Cut the zest as thinly as possible with a sharp vegetable cutter, put the zest in an 800 ml jar (or a 1 l jar),
2. I fill with one bottle of vodka, as much as I like.
4. I remove for 2 weeks or until the zest fades and the vodka acquires the color of the zest.
5. I carefully remove albedo - a white crust from the grapes - remove all films from the slices and be sure to remove all the seeds, blender the pulp. I also clean lemons without zest from albedo, necessarily from seeds, but not from films, I blender with grapes and
6.Pour into the second can + sometimes a piece of vanilla pod.

Why without grape films! Since they are bitter and the tincture will turn out super-brutally bitter! For me at least.
Why does not everyone insist in banks together? 1) Because sometimes we need a separate transparent vodka infused with the zest. 2) because this way you can adjust the bitterness of the finished grapefruit chello by mixing then the required amount of tinctures from different cans.

7. Further, after 2 weeks or later, I throw away the pale zest, filter the tincture from the second can and combine the transparent tincture and the opaque one in the required proportion, adding sugar to taste.

8. I give it to mature for 2 weeks, pour off the upper transparent layer, pour it into beautiful bottles.

The most delicious from Limoncello turned out with the addition of 1 hour. l. pink pepper, lemongrass stem and a piece of vanilla for 2 liters of vodka - just bombed liquor came out !!! As two drunks blew out a ryumaska ​​with her husband, in the evenings, 2 liters per month. I didn't have the strength to give such delicious food for gifts!
