Really something, namely, the airfryer makes the chicken legs ALWAYS five.
I always succeed in any chicken perfectly.
I don’t know how to spoil her mind.
Either the cooking temperature was low or anti-advertising ...

Yes, yes, we always take only such.
When I chose AG and read reviews that in the country, it would seem in nature and all the same, the meat in the grill is baked, I did not believe. And now we ourselves only cook in it.

and I'm just in love with my AG
Ninelle
I have a Hotter HX 1057 Elite. For 4 years already. My husband gave it for the New Year, she is head over heels in love with him! The purchase came at a time when the kitchen was in a dead state, and I cooked on a 2-burner portable electric stove ... Therefore, we made friends with the airfryer tightly, a wonderful thing. I fry, cook, bake in it, fish, chicken, meat, vegetables, cottage cheese casseroles, cookies, pies, small cakes ... and a lot of things. Buckwheat there generally turns out super, for those who follow the figure, without a drop of oil, it is already downy. Here ... I love him, you asshole.
azaza
And I grilled the defrosted chicken - just super. I think the problem is in the hands. Maybe, of course, AG is defective, but most likely the hostess just hasn't had time to make friends with him. And it seems to me that he will not make friends with such a mood.
Ninelle
I once cooked fish fillets with tomatoes, onions and cheese in foil in an airfryer, I did it so many times before, and it always worked out, well, just awesome. And then I came across some kind of STRANGE fillet, it looked good, smelled normal too. But after I opened the foil, I fell slightly, pieces. which before cooking were at least 10 * 10 cm in size (well defrosted and "dried" by the way), were barely 4 * 4 .... and there was ... awesome lot of water .... So that we can and really the legs are wrong?
igorechek
I live "by the sea". My advice to you is NEVER take fish fillets. Not only do they give out cheap stuff for expensive fish, they also tear up a lot of money for cutting and PUMP with moisture-retaining solutions. You will not immediately understand that it is inflated for weight, and only during heat treatment, the fish gives off moisture.
And with the legs, the matter is different. The person is initially negative. Although there may be another problem - poor operation of the thermostat, it does not give out the required T high AG for baking the crust.
Ninelle
igorechek, Agree. True, here's how my husband took Norwegian salmon fillets, a great thing.
lysi
I will tune in to the result and try again. And then I was somehow offended by him and did not stand hands. But the fact that most likely something smaller is needed, such as wings or shanks - that's for sure. And the legs, yes, were thawed. The skin was reddened, everything looked beautiful, but inside was dry. And the chicken is very long, it seems to me in the oven 2 times faster. Well, I expected more anyway. The fact is that in ovens we cook with the lower fire (it's not for nothing that people have been cooking this way for centuries), but we cook up a beautiful golden brown crust with the upper grill. And in the airfryer only on top and that's it. Buyers' mistake is that they think they put it in and take it out. And the magic grill will do everything for you like in a restaurant. That may turn out to be tastier the next time and need to adapt - I do not argue. But one thing I am sure that these same frozen chicken legs in a conventional oven would turn out excellently. This is in the sense that the airfryer is not a competitor to the oven. Moreover, with experienced hostesses. But even in terms of the effect and method of cooking in the airfryer, I expected something different, although before taking it, I studied a lot of reviews, apparently advertising. And after I bought it, I read the same as mine. That the grill dries out the meat inside and it is better to cook more shmat in foil, and then open it for a crust. Well, what's the point, then, in the airfryer? Maybe girls, you have already developed your own approaches and secrets of cooking in an airfryer by poking. Well, I, at any time, must also at least sometimes get used to it. I will take proven recipes from the forum so that I do not idle in vain.

Luda, this is how it comes out, like in a gas oven, only there is heating from below, and here - from above. There you then turn on the upper grill to finish cooking, and here you have to open the AG in the middle of the process and turn the chicken over. But there is still less hassle and washing, too, than with a gas oven, try again, everything will work out.

Mona, thanks for treating people well. And it seems to me that some are ready to put the airfryer on my head. Do you cook on the wire rack or do you use aids: foil, sleeve, etc.?
azaza
Probably, a lot depends on the grill too. I read and wonder. I never anything I don’t turn it over in the grill! I cook only on a wire rack: I tried it a couple of times in foil - the result was not at all impressive. I set the maximum temperature for 15 minutes, then lower it to 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes. FSE! Most often I cook large legs (fresh! Occasionally defrosted, as an exception, but still excellent). I bake meat-cues in the same way.
Lyudmila, at what temperature were the legs baked? Maybe they were afraid to set the maximum, which is why it turned out long and dry? At my maximum, a crust sets very quickly, as a result, all the juices remain inside, and then at a lower temperature, it is baked to condition. The crust turns out to be uniform both above and below without turning over. AH I have the simplest, the cheapest.
Ninelle
lysi, sorry, if you already answered, then I missed. And what kind of airfryer do you have ?! Cooking chicken in the oven faster than in the airfryer ?! I have an oven-beast, Bosch (not China, real), so I like the chicken in the airfryer ... And 40 minutes in the airfryer on both sides (and in all honesty, you don't have to turn it over, I just like horror to introduce her husband to cooking, and this is his duty), for quite a decent one and a half kilogram chicken is this a lot? !!!!
Ninelle
azaza, I completely agree with you, except that I cooked both in foil and in a bag and the result is wonderful. Once the bullshit came out. but then the fish fillet was pumped up with some kind of disgusting, I wrote about it above. And he really cooks in such a way that he put it down and opened it on signal! The exception is made up of dishes that are cooked in several modes, but again much easier than on the stove. I am absolutely not afraid of either the stove or the oven, there was a time, I baked excellent pies, bread, buns in an ordinary oven with a nozzle ... But the airfryer is my favorite device.

Luda, I love uniformity, so I turn it over. 20 minutes on one side at 230 degrees, then the same amount on the other. But each AG has its own quirks. The first time, follow. As it turned brown almost and right from above, you turn it over and then on the other side, there may already be less than 20 minutes before it turns brown. On the top grill. At the bottom of the AG I put a piece of parchment for baking (not even new, but it remains in the oven from baking bread, I immediately throw it into the AG and then, when necessary, I use it). So less AG is smeared into fat. And after baking the chicken I put the grill in the sink, smear it with detergent, it will turn sour there in the sink, then everything is perfectly washed with a sponge with a rough side. In general, it so happened that the first time I bought it, I made chicken wings marinated in kefir and spices. My husband liked it very much. Says: All the time to do so. Well, I'm not a miss girl. I say: Of course, if you wash the AG and the grill. He agreed. ... So that's why I love my AG. For the oven - we did not agree so.

except that I cooked in the foil and in the bag and the result is wonderful.

It's not that I didn't succeed in the foil. Everything worked out great, edible and even delicious. But for our family taste - not as tasty as open meat / chicken legs. It turns out not so fried in foil. In foil, it is more comparable to the cartoon version, but to us the grill is as expensive as a grill.
But how many people, so many tastes. Some people prefer dishes baked in foil or sleeve. We are savages, give us campfire meat. It's a pity, there is no smoke in the grill. The rest is a super-unit! And it is not at all necessary to buy an expensive one - a cheap one with a single blowing speed does an excellent job. I even practice portioned cupcakes in it. So one-speed is also suitable for baking. (this information is for those who are just thinking about buying and choosing a model).

Girls, how I stirred you all up! I have an airfryer Saturn for 500 gr. Time and temperature are set. There are no speeds. I explain, I cooked from fresh chicken and from thawed chicken legs (I never took them, apparently I don't need to). So, the chicken legs turned into fried rubber. She attributed it to a low-quality product. I cooked them at a maximum of 20 minutes, then turned them over and made the temperature lower by 15 minutes. then she took out to see, inside were damp. Another 15 minutes at an average temperature. and as a result, it looks decent, but it tastes like dry meat. Well, this is a store freeze, God bless it, it was taken to get acquainted with the airfryer. Yes, I cooked for so long, because these legs were 700 grams each. And when I was cooking the chicken, I put the pre-marinated chicken on a low wire rack on foil. 30 minutes at the maximum, after the crust has taken on, and inside it is clear that it is damp, I reduced the temperature and another 30 minutes on medium mode. Then she poked pink juice into the chicken with a toothpick. I then covered it with foil and another 15 minutes at maximum. And then, without the foil, I set the crust for 10 minutes. Total 1 hour 25 minutes and plus all this fuss around the grill. The chicken was a little over 2 kg and the meat turned out to be drier than we usually used to eat. Then the holidays were approaching and I no longer experimented. and now that is why I fit into your family of air ovens, so to speak, so that they can guide you on the right path, and not discuss my hands. Thank God, with the rest of the appliances in the kitchen: a multicooker-pressure cooker, a bread maker, etc. I worked right away and for a long time. Thanks for your support and I look forward to your advice.
Mona1
I don't like to bake a whole chicken either, I did it a couple of times and does not pull. When in chunks, it is faster and tastier somehow.

I have an airfryer Saturn for 500 gr. Time and temperature are set. There are no speeds.

The speed is just the same. But one, unregulated. And in expensive AG there are three speeds. So you could play with them.

Luda, perhaps, the problem is in the legs (since they were bought frozen). In our country, what kind of rubbish is not sold under a decent label. Maybe thawed it a few times and then frozen it again, and that's the result of rubber.
And I don't really like the whole chicken either. The breast is dry. Therefore, if I take a whole chicken, then a small one, rather a chicken. Here is such a pain or less after pickling, although the breast is still dryish. So it's better to play with spare parts after all: legs, thighs, drumsticks, wings. The necks are very tasty. Only they need to be chosen large, otherwise you will hesitate to gnaw
Shelena
lysi, good evening!
I read about your failures while cooking in the AG.
Of course, you will have to get used to a single-speed grill (and you have just one). I have repeatedly spoken out about the fact that there are much more people disappointed in such grills than among the owners of three-speed ones. But, if there is a desire, then everything is possible!
We cook chicken "spare parts" very often! And it doesn't matter whether the meat was frozen or not (well defrosted is also tasty, believe me).
Your misfortune is that you are cooking at maximum temperatures. It is because of this that everything dries up and is not fried inside.
Try to cook according to a different scheme, with a decrease in temperature: first heat up the grill, then fry at maximum temperature for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat. Turn over once.
(The full recipe will be useless for you, since I always adjust the speed.)
And one more thing - most likely, you make chicken legs on the upper grill, and it is best to use the middle one, but they are not available in cheap grills. Try cooking with an expansion ring.
Check out the recipes on the forum. There you can pick up many very successful ones. But something will have to be adapted to your airfryer.
Good luck!

Azaz, even if not with a smoke, but quite a kebab taste is obtained if I marinate + onions in Narsharab and you can have a bay leaf, and even then throw sawdust on the bottom and pour them with just the juice obtained. But that's great for my taste. By the way, I also like "openly aerated" food more.

Everything is there - a pallet, a low grate and a high grate. I will try in any case. Then unsubscribe. At least, even after talking on this topic, I am ready to fight. Although, as they write, cereals, soups and pastries in the airfryer, this is complete chaos for me. Still, each device must perform its functions. In the country, yes! Or in some other uncomfortable conditions, you can experiment. And when the apartment is full of devices for all kinds of culinary transformations, then I took the airfryer for meat in full. And bake pork and make kebabs. Shelena, thanks! Yes, it was those unfortunate chicken legs that I baked on the top wire rack. So, very good advice. But I definitely won't buy frozen products. If you buy fresh and throw it in the freezer yourself, it's another matter. And this devil beguiled. I decided it would be cheaper for a trial version. As they say, a cheap fish is a shitty soup.

That is, while we tell each other and listen, we gain experience.
It may be not only the lack of speeds, but also the type of heating element. But since you already have what you have, I think you will make friends with him. Admin has awesome recipes, I think the airfryer is also one-speed, but I could be wrong.
I have never had a dry chicken ... It is baked so that the meat leaves the bones like during cooking. And domestic chickens and shop. I remembered that somehow the chicken wings + drumsticks turned out to be very dry, they were bought chilled, but store-bought. Try it, so that it doesn't turn out dry to marinate in wine, kefir, yogurt, mayonnaise, honey. narsharab and pour the resulting juice onto the bottom of the already heated airfryer.

Lucy, I probably just really love my Airfryer, and I disagree with you. Yes, mine was bought when I could cook only on a two-burner portable electric stove. Therefore, he was just a salvation for me. But even after repairs in the kitchen and the purchase of a multicooker, a hob and an excellent oven (there is also a microwave, but I drove it out onto the balcony, on the mezzanine), I use the airfryer all the time. Firstly, washing it is much easier than my self-cleaning oven, and secondly. especially when guests are involved with mustache appliances. Thirdly, many dishes from the airfryer only turn out to be unusually tasty. And now the hob has welded up like this again, and the Multichotter also rested in the Bose shortly before, so I'm saving myself with an oven and an airfryer.
Make friends with your new assistant, of course.

In general, in my AG I do everything except potatoes. I'm lying ... I'm making potatoes like a fire. And baked goods: cakes, buns, gingerbread cookies, cookies only in AG. Meat-yum, chicken-legs-wings-yum. Cutlets, one might say, are dietary. I love my AG tenderly and anxiously, and when the opportunity came up to buy another one of the same. but for 1/4 of the price and with a larger package I took it. without hesitation. And I'll take it if I get it, for the children

Girls, thanks for the sticking and parting words. The third day I cook wings for men (husband and son). I bought two kg at once, so my son and I in two sitting without a side dish for 2 days tamped. Today my husband arrived in time from the day and also pinned 3 kg. Marinated in a mixture: soy sauce, honey, wine vinegar, tomato juice, tabasco sauce and dry seasonings. Now I'm thinking about what to cook next. She cooked everything on the lower grill. So everything is fine, thank you. More! How do you bake potatoes? Is it better to cut into slices not completely and sprinkle with seasoning or whole in foil?
Ninelle
lysi, make an accordion potato, cut it, as you did not say until the end, but put thin slices of smoked brisket or cheese in the cut, I did everything together, okay, we eat it ourselves, but my husband is all crazy at work. As for the seasonings, be careful here, you can, if only do it with cheese, add a little salt, or even better coat it with mayonnaise. But we like it so much, you choose the seasonings to your taste. I know people who tkemali, smear satsibeli, maybe delicious, but I have not tried it yet.

I have AG Mystery, the dishes turn out especially well in the sleeve - pork ham, chicken, I make vegetables on the wire rack - tomatoes, eggplants, zucchini. If you make meat even on the lower grill, the top burns a lot, as soon as I have not tried it, I cannot adapt, from this I use AG quite rarely

Hello, I'm in your company
2 weeks after buying the combine, I grill, read, read - I already wanted to order Liberton 05 (electronic buttons, a lot of axics, and most importantly a cover on the bracket) - as I read horror movies on the Rosette. And I almost leaned towards 03, which is the only one with heating elements for such a price. I also read about Supra 2111, the price is about one, but there are few halogen and aks ...
In general, apparently I will cling to the group of fans of the Liberton-tenovs. But the question is, how can I turn off the cord completely from the network? otherwise, in my cartoon, you will only hesitate (((
The truth will probably have to hide the cartoon from time to time - I feel together in one corner they will not fit.

Oh, I still need to buy dishes (such as pots and microwave dishes), small molds for cupcakes, rushed

I like this air grill, but the MAIN THING when buying it is good to check it. I already wrote here about my Airfryer, about its problems. It works for me VERY noisily.I have not heard such a roar and grunt from other aerogrills in the video as from mine. Apparently I got this, with a bride. The husband was already twisting him, but the noise still remained. The noise stops when I put a kilogram bag of some cereal on his head. This is how he cooks with me with a load on the body!

Look, in the fall I bought myself a surge protector here, there is a button for each plug.
🔗
Therefore, I do not pull it out of the network, but simply turn on and off the button of the desired device. I have a microwave oven, food processor, HP, AG and a multicooker connected to this filter. Everything turns out fine, now I don't pull the plug out of anything. The husband himself attached the filter to the wall, you can just put it. The only BUT: the total capacity of simultaneously operating consumers from those that are stuck into it: no more than 2200 W. That is, two or three, but not all 5. But now, for me, if the multicooker is turned on and the AG, it turns out even a little more than 2200, but it works, it has not blown (there is a fuse in it and it will simply be cut out, if anything But it can be seen that there is still some kind of power reserve, because recently I forgot and, in addition to multi and AG, already working, I also connected HP, made bread. And it is normal, however, when HP reached the Baking mode, which pulls a lot in terms of power, then by that time the AG had already prepared everything and turned off. And the cartoon along with the HP, so there is much less than the limit. In general, I am very happy, otherwise there was such a headache. On other sites, there is one too, then the price at that time was the lowest. He is here with a 1.8 m cord. And there is also 3 m. But they are more expensive, and I didn’t need a long one. And in Russia, I know there is also this type, but I don’t know about this company, but there is SVEN, but I can’t say anything about them.

Ha! I bought it and even wanted to go and poke them under my breath, but then I think: ah, spend my time on them. I hate such people - absolutely not in the subject about what directly concerns them. The power limitation is the same, I have two multi devices connected to it, a pressure cooker and a small airfryer (1000 W), but I also don't turn it on all at once, there was no such need yet, as a rule, a pair of devices can work simultaneously. Perhaps more can be used until I tried it. But in any case it is very convenient, now you don't need to pull the cords every time, I just click the buttons.

At first, I didn't even know if there were such filters, I was puzzled over what to come up with so as not to pull the cord out of the socket every time, and so that the multi was not constantly energized. So I thought - there would be sockets with buttons! And then I remembered that there is a button on the network filters, but one, I decided to find out - maybe there are more than one button, I looked on the Internet - for sure, there are some! I went around all the stores in the city, I didn't find it anywhere, it's good that now there are online stores, I ordered in DNS, they deliver to any store in their network, but surprisingly, for some reason, we just have such filters on sale in their store. no, aren't they in demand?

oh thanks for the idea! I have a kettle with MV in one corner, I think to push AG there (instead of), it will just be needed.
But now a question with a timer gnaws at me - do I need it straight or not ... and this cover is removable, why did I look at the 05 model, but it kind of breaks
azaza

and this lid is removable, which is why I looked at the 05 model, but it kind of breaks

The issue with a removable cover is very easy to solve. A hanger bracket is nailed to the wall - and the hot lid will not get in the way on the table.
Convection ovens with a bracket cover are convenient only if free space is supposed above them. For many, the AG stands under the cabinet, and in this case the bracket cover is rather a drawback.
And with a timer ... Honestly, I don't understand what I'm talking about. 05 Does Liberton have a cooking delay? I don't understand why she is needed in the AG. If we are not talking about a postponement, but simply a timer, then it is present in every AG, even in the simplest one.
Ninelle
I have a hinged lid on the airfryer, very convenient. It stands under the cabinet, BUT when choosing kitchen furniture, I took into account the opinion of my favorite aerogrill, that is, I took the cabinets under its height. And the husband is generally raving about the idea that for a multicooker, airfryer, kettle and other boiling and heating appliances, there should be his own personal extractor hood, such as above the hob.
I can only say about my Airfryer, Hotter, there is a very reliable hinged lid. And ten, not a halogen.

I still don’t understand: what delay can there be in the airfryer? On figs she is needed there ?!
About dripping and soaring. AG is not a cartoon that can really soar great on some programs (that's why I have it without a roof in the form of a hanging cabinet). And AG does not float. It heats up the current itself. That is, directly above it, the cabinet can be very much hung, but not too low. I have cabinets at a height of 70 cm from the table - they do not even heat up during the operation of the AG.
And the cover is completely dry during operation. If there is moisture on it, it can be short-circuited in FIG, where all the electrical electronics in the lid is located. So you don't have to worry about dripping: nothing will drip anywhere. There is only one problem with the lid: where to attach it, huge and hot,. Therefore, a bracket is needed. And built-in or mounted on the wall is a master's business.
And yes, at one time the toad also crushed me to give more than two for the Hotter, so I bought the cheapest heating element, which I never regretted. For the third year now it has been working almost every day.
Ninelle
You're lucky ... but I decided, after my husband slammed the thoroughbred Boshevsky hob, save money, and buy a budget Hansa ..... uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuu .... stingy pays three times! And the airfryer was bought the first, at first it worked several times a day. Now, once a day, it works, on average.

I mean it is sold without a flask? Probably designed to be put on a cartoon bowl. Maybe not bad, in the topics with airfryer, after all, ideas have already slipped through to choose a suitable stainless steel pan instead of a flask and cook in it. In our Saturn theme, someone even wanted to try to put the head of the AG on the pressure cooker.
For comparison, my small 7-liter AG has a diameter of about 26 cm.That is, if this grill can be used in tandem with MV (brown meat after stewing, or there is baking on top), then the duet will probably work out well, but the machine is too small , in my opinion.
ElenaB
Manna, interesting innovations from redmond

I don't have a place for an airfryer, I wanted to buy it, but then I changed my mind - I bought myself a wonderful grill pan and I'm happy
Manna
I remember that Brands did not recommend using multicooker bowls under the lid of the airfryer. So ... it is probably better to find then a regular saucepan of this diameter or a glass heat-resistant bowl. But the size ... yes, 22.5cm can fit under the multicooker bowl.
Lud-Mil @
Manna, if you pick up a saucepan, then the volume is already too small. Look here, in a 7-liter AG (I indicated the size above), baked goods from MV are just right next to it.
You can put it on stainless steel pots, but we don't bake in them, so again dancing with tambourines - transfer from a Teflon bowl to a stainless steel.
Manna
Well ... Redmond is positioning this grill as a multicooker accessory (as I understand it). So, it is supposed to be used on top of multicooker bowls Only I wonder if such bowls have been tested
