Ingredients

• 500 g of bread flour (high in protein)
• 280-300 ml of warm water
• 15 g fresh yeast (5 g dry)
• 30 g sugar
• 1 tsp. salt
• 2 tbsp. l. olive oil

Cooking method

  • Instructions from Karina:
  • ◦Dilute yeast in a little water with added sugar, stir thoroughly and let it brew for 10 minutes
  • ◦Add the rest of the warm water and, sifting flour in parts, knead a soft dough, adding salt at the end
  • ◦Knead for 10 minutes
  • ◦Pour 1 tbsp into a bowl. l. olive oil
  • ◦ Form a ball out of the dough and put it in a bowl of butter, turn it over several times in a bowl so that the butter completely covers the dough
  • ◦Cover with foil and put in a warm place for 1 hour
  • ◦ Wrap the dough that comes up and divide into 2 parts
  • ◦ Roll out each part into a layer (28x15 cm) in a leaf-like shape
  • ◦ Make cuts with a sharp knife (as in the photo)
  • ◦Slightly stretch the dough in the cuts
  • ◦Place the land mines on baking paper, cover, and let rise for another 30-40 minutes
  • ◦Heat the oven to 230 ° С by placing a dish with water on the bottom
  • ◦ Grease the land mines with olive oil and bake for 12 - 5 minutes (until golden brown)
  • I kneaded and allowed the dough in a bread maker on the Dough mode (2 hours 20 minutes). I made three cakes - with poppy seeds, sesame seeds and herbs. In general, these are Ciabatta, only smaller and original in shape. Help yourself.

Very tasty cakes, for a long time on the site as a reader, but in this case I could not resist thanks for the recipe, I made the dough in a Vitek bread maker, baked in the oven. I made tortillas with caraway seeds and coriander. Well och delicious.
