Orange drink "Fanta"

Category: The drinks
Orange drink Fanta

Ingredients

boiled water 3 l
orange peel with 4 pcs.
lim. acid 2 tsp
sugar 1.5 cups

Cooking method

  • The recipe is ancient, from my mother's notebook, so I can't point to the author. So so ...
  • Soak the zest in 1 liter of water, add 2 tsp of citric acid, leave for a day. After 24 hours, roll the zest through a meat grinder, but I do it differently, I just cut the peels into thin strips. Then put the scrolled (or chopped) zest in a saucepan, pour 1 liter. water in which it stood for a day, then add another 2 liters of water, put 1.5 cups of sugar and put on low heat, bring to a boil, but do not boil. Strain. Drink chilled.

The dish is designed for

3 liters

Time for preparing:

2 days

National cuisine

mother's

Note

The drink can be obtained with a slight bitterness, I tried to freeze the zest, and then make a drink, the result is the same. And a couple of times it turned out to be excellent, completely without a sign of bitterness, it probably still depends on the oranges

BRAVO!!! I have already stolen the recipe, boom to try!

Wort!, I am anti-paint, but you can replace citric acid with an ordinary lemon ... and then I also read a parallel topic and everywhere lemon-lemon ... In principle, it is, but with lemon we can, it is healthier there, tastier, more natural. Or will it not be sour enough? All acid is acid, it is concentrated.

Thanks Nadia

Here's what I thought .... Well, I don't always strictly adhere to the recipe, sometimes I throw peels with 5 and 6 oranges, but I don't increase the water ... so the bitterness appears
IRRchik, yes of course you can replace, but what proportions to take? 2 tsp of powder will it be in lemons?

IRRchik! I do not use lemon juice at all in the juice that is 9 liters out of 4 oranges. I take a regular lemon. More precisely half of it, but again I see what it is. If it's small, then I use it all. I freeze it the same way. Everything is delicious without him. I think that if you can there, then you can try here too! You can taste and add. It seems so to me!

I think that it is quite possible to replace it with lemon, only then the juice will need to be added at the end, but what will remain of its usefulness? And in general, the recipe is good for those who have their own oranges, not imported ones. And now all the doctors are shouting out loud: "Do not eat peels from oranges" they are harshly processed for keeping quality.
And earlier, back in Soviet times, we made candied fruit at home from orange peel. It turned out yummy. But they soaked it longer, changing the water to fresh (so that it wouldn't taste bitter)

Suslya! : girl_claping: The recipe is relevant now more than ever - the main thing is that everything is natural. And so that there is no bitterness - the zest does not need to be boiled - I just first boil the syrup from water, lemons and sugar, then squeeze the juice from oranges (or lemons, then I don't add acid) and throw the "pomace" there (I press the juice with an ordinary press for citrus fruits. Cover and leave to cool. In the morning I throw away the peels - and in the refrigerator!

Ilona, and I literally wash all oranges before use under running hot water with a sponge on which on one side there is such a rough base. And then I wipe it dry and in the freezer. I think if I'm still alive, then you can use the peel. Moreover, in these recipes we do not eat the peel, but drink the juice. Although ...

I don't want to scare anyone, but unfortunately oranges, tangerines and apples are treated with biphenyl. Diphenyl is colorless, odorless and tasteless, and therefore people do not see or hear it and quite often do not wash the fruit before removing the peel. Diphenyl remains on our fingers and we eat it safely with dessert. And the worst thing is that children eat it too. Remember: diphenyl is not washed off in water; such fruits must be washed with soap and then peeled off.
"Diphenyl is found in coal tar and oil. It inhibits the growth of fungi, therefore it is used to protect citrus fruits and apples during transport (banned in the EU and the US due to carcinogenicity)."
Well, something like this

We drink the extract from this rind ...

In fact, the recipes are very good. like me. But I would not drink such drinks often. Everyone chooses for himself.
I will definitely try to prepare drinks.

Well, I've been drinking for 3 years now, and it seems like while pah-pah-pah. If you look at everything like that, then living is harmful!

This is my opinion, I do not impose it.
No one thoroughly examines himself for the good functioning of the kidneys, liver and other organs. We all get treatment when it's already really bad.

Our oranges are not imported. But I see no reason to make such a drink. It's easier for me to squeeze out the juice ...

I didn’t say that the recipe is bad, I’m just saying that it’s not safe in our time.

Oh, how I agree with this choice! But for a change, you can only make fun of real oranges!

But this is here, where oranges grow everywhere and a lot, it is better to crush fresh juice. And in Russia this is much more problematic, you can't push much.

This, of course, is true, but it also strains to press every day ... I, for example, drink a lot and, although I grow my own apples and other fruits, I am a bummer to do juice production every day! You won't push for a few days, it will be almost the same as from the freezer!

In contrast to squeezing juice from apples, carrots, etc., squeezing juice from an orange is much faster and easier: two oranges are enough for one glass of juice. It's not too laborious with fairly primitive devices Well, for more juice, if necessary, I have an electric citrus juicer
Ilona
Oh, I don’t understand how "the oranges are already freezing"? What are you talking about? Where are they freezing then?

That, these unpretentious for citrus, I finally do not recognize! I'm just talking about the electric one. When I bought it, I thought, every day I will fill myself with natural products (like a decent one), but nope.

As for the unpretentious citrus fruits for every day, you're in vain. As personal experience has shown, for a morning glass of juice - just what you need. As for the electric ones - so the citrus juicer - it differs significantly from the usual electric juicer. Another principle of action. It looks exactly the same as a simple one, only bigger and rotates Better yet, a large citrus press, like this:

This I mean not to say that simple devices are inconvenient. Everyone chooses convenient devices for themselves. Leave the button accordion to the goat.

So I’m talking about THIS. I'm talking about myself, about my impressions! In no time do I convince anyone or dissuade anyone! Something you do not correctly interpret my statements .... Are you offended, though?

I also do not grow citrus fruits. But nevertheless, I believe that in any family where healthy food is appreciated, this unit should be. I don't think Dobry Juice is so kind and useful. I buy a box of oranges at a wholesale price. In the morning, I cut two oranges into halves, squeeze out with a press and get a glass of freshly squeezed juice. I drink through a straw in order to protect the tooth enamel from the action of fruit acids. To get other juices I have a super-animal machine "Zhuravinka", my mother squeezes out 12 (Twelve) liters of pure juice per hour of work in the summer in the apple season. Healthy food and health is our everything!
Caprice
I also have a regular juicer. I bought it a long time ago, when juicers were not yet sold, into which you can shove a whole apple. Therefore, it is not very convenient for me to squeeze out the juice with it, and there is a lot of waste, and to wash out hemorrhoids. Besides, our apples are much more expensive than oranges. Nevertheless, I have it, for individual cases.

De-voch-kiii. Thank you for your concern for my health. I apologize that I don't think much differently!
Suslya
ooo .. I sat for a day without an Internet and here there are already such battles ... I have a small offer, for everyone who has oranges cheaper than potatoes and therefore they prefer fresh, etc. to move smoothly here Juicers
