Marfusha81, Maria MV Element 5l, induction, is now on sale at a promotional price of 5670r in AVTbarar., 5630 in ht-comp dot ru. There, one bowl weighs 1700g.
Marfusha81
That would be three liters and it was just a fairy tale!
And so I have Toshiba with a heavy bowl.

Then you need to ask in a flea market, who can sell it as unnecessary.

I have a Panasonic SR-DY101WTQ for 3 liters (there is one for 5 liters) - an excellent mv. The pastries are excellent, pilaf cooks with toasting (but this is not for everybody), milk porridges never run away. Even when I cook porridge in a reddish 01, I set the time as in Panas 50 minutes, so that it would be similar. For baked goods, you can cook fried potatoes. About 3-4 years ago it was on sale, and recently I saw used ones on Avito.

Good day everyone! Please tell me which of the multicooker is most suitable for steaming dishes? And what should you pay special attention to when choosing a machine for (mainly) this purpose? I believe that the condensate collector should be available and removable, but what else?
In multicooker, while an amateur, only 5 in 1 from de longhi is available, probably the only cartoon on the market without a steamer function, bought in a fit of emotion))
Now I would like to take a more balanced approach to the choice. A multicooker is needed to gradually switch to a healthy diet, so steaming is important. Well, another yogurt maker would be helpful)
Hope for help from experienced users!
Lerele
CheshireCat, for a couple of the program is in any multicooker, it always and the insert goes in all cartoons. Yogurt is also made by many multicooker, no need for an extra device.
So you just have to take what you like and watch to have these programs.

And even if it is not even there, then you can always buy, as an option - for example, such silicone inserts-steamers
The pictures were inserted large, removed under the spoiler:

CheshireCat, if you want to eat right and eat steamed dishes, buy yourself a double boiler. Now there is a huge selection and many are sold from hands literally for a penny. We have a lot of offers on Avito even for 500 rubles ($ 8).
All multi-cookers have a steaming mode, but everyone has different baskets - there are lower ones that are placed on the bottom (you can pour a little water and I don't really like them), there are upper ones that hang on the bowl (I would buy from the top), there are universal, there are ones that are placed on a stand (not very convenient for me), but they all have one caveat - they are not large in size and you can cook one thing or a little

CheshireCat, it seems to me that if the priority is to steam, then you can take almost any cartoon, although of course it turns out faster in a pressure cooker. The condensate container does not have to be. I had CF with and without him. The latest MV is Shteba DD2, it does not have this container, but the design of the lid is such that when the lid is removed, nothing flows anywhere. I liked her the most.
The only moment that comes to mind is MV, in which the countdown begins only after the water boils, and there is where the countdown begins immediately after starting the program. Definitely take the first option! I pressed the button and that's it!
And in the second, you must first somehow determine how long it can take until the water boils, depending on the volume of water - after all, sometimes you pour a little (if, for example, you cook eggs), sometimes more (if, for example, you need to cook beets for a long time).
The steamer stand may also differ - there is where they hang on the sides of the bowl (that is, there will be a restriction on the volume of products, since such inserts are usually 4-5 cm in height). But with this you can make a duet - for example, we cook cutlets on top of a couple, and you can put potatoes in the water from below.
And there are inserts-steamers that are placed on the bottom (they have small legs), you can put more food in them, right up to the lid (for example, if we cook vegetables for a vinaigrette or on a "fur coat"). Or even make two floors by purchasing a higher insert suitable in diameter in the shop
It all depends on how much steamed dishes will be cooked. Maybe it's really easier to just buy a double boiler, and not a MB? Although a separate steamer certainly takes up a lot of space as an additional device in the kitchen ...
Admin

If you only need a double boiler, then you can do without a multi-cooker, since the multi-cooker bowl is small for such purposes, you will not run away with it.

I switched to a separate steamer, a steam oven - much more convenient This topic has examples of steamers in different types and different models I cook in a double boiler, I was convinced that useful can be tasty))

I agree with Larisa. On my legs (from MV Toshiba) - I'm uncomfortable.
This year I bought MV Hitachi, it has a Steam cooking function and a button for this program. The default time is 40 minutes (if I'm not mistaken). I used steam cooking in the summer (in the country). Hitachi has a double boiler with a bowl, placed on top, very convenient. For one, two people - excellent. Meat, fish - in foil, and in a double boiler, so condensation does not bother. If you need to cook large quantities, a separate steamer with several levels is better.
Here is a topic for my CF:

I have a 5-liter redmond in my city, an upper double boiler was included with it, I also bought porcelain steamers with stands, now I can do it in 2 tiers, although I don't use the porcelain "trays" themselves, I just use the grates themselves, whole vegetables can be directly put on them.
Anastasenok
I really like the steam insert from Multi Oursson 5015, plump, on legs and in the shape of a deep bowl.

Tell me who knows ... which multicooker is suitable for a 4 liter Philips bowl. and a bowl of Stadler Form Inner Pot 4L ... I want to replace the Redmond 250 with another multicooker, there are 2 Philips bowls and one Stadler in very good condition, and the displacement of 4 liters suits me very much, well, of course, not taking into account Mulky Philips and Stadler. I would probably like March 1981, but the bowl is 5 liters in it.

I welcome everyone!
Please advise a multicooker-pressure cooker.
Now Panasonic SR-TMH10 (2.5 liter bowl).
Wishlist:
- from 4 liters
- removable cover (I really don't like that you can't wash the cover normally in Panasonic ...)
- steam cooking, preferably with a hanging insert
- delayed start, keeping warm
- adjustment of the cooking time - it would be nice if
- temperature control - I don't know if it's necessary ...
- not Bork

I cook vegetables and cutlets (steamed) for the child, cereals, pilaf, casseroles, carcass meat.

I cook vegetables and cutlets (for a couple) for the child, porridge, pilaf, casseroles, carcass meat.
It came to my mind according to your descriptionMulticooker-pressure cooker Oursson MP5015PSD everything in it is convenient, removable lid, adjustable temperature, cooking time, delayed start, 5 liter bowl, convenient basket for steaming.
SoNika
oh, but I will not make friends with 5015, it strains to wait, the valve will work an extra 10 minutes. And in frying it fries only the first couple of minutes, then it seems to turn off or go into stewing, pieces of meat (for pilaf) remain not even tinted, raw ... for 5-10 minutes, then I don’t know, the patience to watch is over, but pilaf amazing. I have a feeling that something is in mine with the valve, because after the "stirring" it starts working ... And I made friends with the filipochka right away - we are all different, everyone is more comfortable with everything ...
Savenka Panasonic SR-TMH10 does not have programs for cooking yogurt, frying, there is no choice of temperature, if it is not critical ..
Anastasenok
SoNika, fry for more time. For example 1 hour and 130 degrees. Everything fries perfectly, so that the pressure is quickly relieved, the bowl with the lid can be pulled out. In all other pressure cookers, this cannot be done and you will wait much longer.
SoNika
Anastasia, a matter of habit apparently and preferences, well, here it is not the first year with me, but I use very good. rarely, filipkom, 3-4 times a week ...
Today I'm planning pilaf in ourson, I can't see the menu without glasses
Sedne
Yes, the scoreboard is hard to see, even to me, although I always wear our glasses. But overall the pressure cooker is good. Personally, I prefer more pressure cookers with automatic valves like Cook, Element and Bork.

so Panas I just now have one. I'm looking for a replacement. more, but with a pressure cooker.

Also look at MV-SV Element, induction, it is now on offer. Bowl 5 l. There is a topic for it, you do not need to read everything, because all the shortcomings that were already fixed.
Savenka
Girls, how is Redmond? He has several models that suit me. It seems without any problems with recipes.

Element has some tricks / subtleties in its recipes. The baby was born not so long ago, there is no time to particularly understand the intricacies. I had a simple Panasonic, no problems.
Oursson was advised above, I'll take a look.
Marpl
I have both Orson 5015 and Element, I have something to compare with. Orson has a very small menu, Element is more visual and has a voice assistant that prompts everything. Nothing complicated, especially since you've used other MBs before. You will not find in any other MB that a bowl weighs 1700g, 3 types of preparation of cereals, and pilaf, stew is generally out of competition. The bakes are also normal, nothing burns.
Tancha
Savenka, I will support Marina. I also bought it on her tip. Very high quality beauty. I mastered it very quickly.
Biryusa
Savenka, and you do not consider Shteba? A very worthy unit - simple, reliable and functional.
SoNika
At Element, according to reviews, the ring at the top quickly bursts, if it is made of a platytic and that's it ... ales, they say, that's why there are discounts for such models ... interestingly, right?
Tancha
SoNika, the ring is in the past. Everything has already been finalized.
Marpl
This is no longer relevant, since these shortcomings were in the MV release before the beginning of 2013. And they are selling now already modernized ones, release 50 week of 2013, the ring is already metal and gray matte silicone (it used to be shiny). And the price is generally a fairy tale, not 20 tons. R.
SoNika

Rit, they're different. An element of another class is the level of Bork, Cuckoo, and for the stock the price is the same as for Shteba, which is very profitable.
