I cook, steamed, usually wrapped in foil and put on a double boiler.

Dear pressure cookers need your help. I want Brand, but the valve scares. On the first pages of the topic, I read all kinds of things about war and helmets, and now I'm thinking. Other pressure cookers do not seem to be like that. There the valves do not seem to clog up, and do not spit. Elena Br, tell me, will the valve not be calmer in the new pressure cookers? Or tell me what to do to avoid problems. Or - what not to do.

Well, what is it! Did I miss it again? What problems? I cook in a day or two in a pressure cooker and only once the O-ring fell out, and I can't even imagine the valve to come up with something.

What confuses you about the Brand 6050 pressure cooker valve?
The valve clogs up mainly when cooking oat flakes with a small amount of liquid and when cooking milk porridge at normal pressure. But the instructions say "only the Baking and Frying mode is prepared without pressure." So experiments by users who forget to close the valve result in milk escaping.
The rest of the pressure regulator works no noise and dust quiet. If steam whistled from the valve while the device was operating under pressure, then such regulators were replaced with new ones, and the problem disappeared.

It is not possible to carry out 3D heating in a device with a removable cover. Our multicooker comes with three heating elements.
The lid of the new model of the pressure cooker is not removable, so we implement 3D heating. And the Manual mode will also be present in it.

Vikamaybe! My valve even flew out of its socket, did not click properly after cleaning.
Here I have the same problem. Out of my own stupidity, I was in a hurry to relieve the pressure of the porridge and cook it, and the milk started up through the valve. I took off the valve, washed it, cleaned it and screwed it back into place. The next day, cooking porridge, I quietly release the pressure and I jumped the valve in my hands and porridge in the ceiling and around. And the problem is that I twist the valve, but it doesn't work until it clicks. The service is far away and there is no one to leave + work with, and the service works from 9-17, as luck would have it, and on weekends, no, no. Tell me how to tighten the valve correctly. Maybe somewhere you need to pull something or push.
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
Svetlana, after cleaning the valve, after installing it in the seat (counterclockwise until it clicks slightly), I switch positions several times to make sure that it fits correctly and firmly. If the valve suddenly does not snap into place, it will immediately snap off. This is better than it will fly out during the operation of the pressure cooker or manually relieving pressure.
svetane
Ksyusha, I also did this before cooking the porridge and the valve flew out when I began to bleed. I can't twist it to the end.So I think maybe something needs to be pressed something.

It is almost impossible to set up the production of the same device at another plant, this must be understood. Brand may try to make something very similar at another plant, but it will still be a different device. And does it make sense? While you are restoring, everyone will go ahead ...

Good day.
Now we are closely tackling the problem with the O-ring.
Those who are testing this device are kindly requested to provide us with replacement for your new stretched O-rings. These samples will be presented to the manufacturer.
All other users can purchase this accessory in our online store. The quantity is limited, so call and check availability.

Sealing suggestion - is it possible to make rings of different colors (shades)? Then buying in a set, for example, 3-5 pieces of different colors, the user decides for himself which ring for baking, cabbage, etc. Silicone is an inert material and should not be painted. Silicone molds of different colors are produced. I use it myself for 1 month. I'm happy with everything. Especially the preparation of milk porridge. And saving time. Only the price has jumped, but still in St. Petersburg it is no longer on sale. I wanted to buy my daughter.

Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen

Unfortunately, recently, there is absolutely not enough time to visit the forum I respect.
Do not be offended, please, those who asked me questions, but did not receive answers to them ...

I came with not very good news. A few days ago, another attempt by Phillips to prohibit the POVOS factory from cooperating with Brand and producing the Brand 37501 and Brand 6050 multicooker was successful. ...
And the POVOS factory notified us about the impossibility of further joint work.
So I must inform you that the Brand 37501 and Brand 6050 multicookers arriving in February and March of this year will be the last representatives of their series.
So hurry up ... those who thought to take it or not, those who thought to wait for the new 501 or not, those who understand a lot about good and high-quality multicooker ...

The good news is that at the beginning of February we are announcing new models from the high-quality SUPOR plant, and I am sure that they will be able to adequately replace the outdated models (we are making every possible effort for this)

Negotiations are underway for the supply of bowls and accessories for the pressure cooker. We will definitely report the results. We will try to do our best so that users of this device do not need additional accessories.
I won't tell you how to cook corn porridge in a pressure cooker. But soon I will buy myself this device, then it will be easier for me to answer such questions.

Chalk, corn grits are still a "little thing". I have it constantly spitting on the lid. It turns out to be right between the plate and the lid. Only she. Other cereals behave perfectly. Try to take a coarser grind (perhaps yours is very fine), suddenly it will help.

I read a few pages ago about soup complaints. And now - just don't hit it with your feet - I thought, what if you cook it on Baking? After all, this is a normal regime without pressure? How will it be in the oven? Nobody tried it?
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
It will boil strongly and flop out of the valve. In order for the soup to cook quietly without pressure, the temperature after boiling should be in the range of 95-98 *. And baked goods have more than 100. You will have to catch soup.
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @

I was upset that they were discontinued. So there will be no bowls of relatives and seals, I did not have time to buy in stock. What can Brand representatives say about this? And another question - what is the average service life of our aggregate (6050)? In general, there are many questions. As I understand it, the 6050 was made either under a Philips license or not, but it is very similar to the Philips HD2173 (2178). A number of dishes in which it is proposed to cook at normal pressure as in MV (there is a recipe book on the phillips website). Why is Brand 6050 only for frying and baking? According to the laws of physics, nothing new can be invented between the pressure-temperature relationship. It turns out that in sparing modes (extinguishing) and an extended time (2-2.5 times) at NORMAL pressure, the SV should work as MV. Worth trying ? Maybe someone has already tried it.
For me, the non-removable cover, which will be released in the new model, is inconvenient. How to wash such a cap and flush the valve?

The service life of the 6050 pressure cooker is 5 years. The only thing that unites Brand and PHILIPS is one POVOS plant, with which we no longer cooperate. As for the cover: non-removable - it meant that it was attached to the bracket and folded up. The valve is made in the form of a weighting agent, it can be easily removed and washed. The cover can also be removed easily: you just need to unscrew the latch located in its center. There is currently no information on individual cups and O-rings for the 6050.

The complaints are not about the operation of the SOUP mode, but about the fact that not everyone likes the taste of the soup cooked under pressure. But here, it's a matter of taste ...
And I do not recommend cooking soup in this device without pressure. The boil will be very strong and the countdown will not start.

No, as a multicooker it can only bake and "fry gently". For extinguishing at normal pressure, it does not have a suitable temperature regime.
On a nearby forum, I found this information on the modes of the Philips 2173 twin pressure cooker. The information was provided by the Philips support service. On the left, for comparison, I inserted a column with Brand modes.

As far as I understand, both pressure cookers are made from the same Chinese prototype, the only difference is in the nameplates, the names of the modes, and, in later deliveries, Brand expanded the range of time settings from 1 to 59 minutes in many modes, but Phillips has remained as it was. There is no difference in the operation of the modes themselves. In fact, here half of the buttons can be painlessly shortened, since they duplicate each other. Despite this, I think 6050 of my money was worth (until the price went up), at least I do not regret that I bought it. As a pressure cooker, it works well.

Denis BR, when can we expect a new model of pressure cooker or will it not be released soon and should I still buy the improved model 6050? This week I plan to buy it, but now I’m thinking, maybe I’ll wait for a new one, otherwise I’ll be upset that it will turn out to be even better ..

Good afternoon, dear pressure cookers)))) I read here that Brand 6050 is being removed from production, it's a pity ... I'm now interested in the question: should I buy accessories for it (additional ring, bowl) now or will they be on sale later? I have a grief: the bowl was scratched, I have been using the pressure cooker for the third month, I always tried to wash and cook carefully, but I found a very deep scratch at the bottom. I sin on meat with a bone. Do you think it is dangerous to eat food prepared in a scratched bowl? It seems that nothing is burning yet, once only the fish in the tomato got baked, but it was an improvisation, maybe over time or the regime I didn’t guess. So, I think, maybe it is worth ordering a new bowl now? What if it will be problematic to find her later? At first I wanted to buy from stainless steel, but it's good that I read about it on this forum in time (taking this opportunity, I want to say huge thanks to all members of the forum and Brand representatives) I understand that a high-quality stainless steel bowl for 6050 is no longer worth waiting for, right?

And yet, girls, write, pliz, a detailed recipe for delicious borscht, right here on your fingers. I cooked it three times, and didn't like it more than once.
