Irina.
I showed my husband the cup today, before that I had not told him about the situation, so as not to upset him. He first said that the coating looks like sputtering (judging by the scratches on the upper rim), then he checked it with a magnet, like a stainless steel, does not magnet, then it is not clear peeling in the form of spots that this should not be.
Interestingly, it is now possible to cook in it, will it not be harmful? Somehow I am afraid to use it now.

Let's see what testing the bowl shows.

How annoying! I was presented with this updated model of pressure cooker, so I wanted to immediately buy a stainless steel bowl. She thought she was everlasting. Sorry for those who spent money on low-quality goods

The point is not to check, but what to do for those who have such a marriage. The money has been paid.

Quote: Irin A.

Yes, the money spent is a pity, it would be better if I sent it to the children for charity, but the main thing is that I really need the cup, that's why this situation is upsetting.

Dear friends!!!

The company "Brand" Ltd. pays special attention to the problems of its customers, no matter how hackneyed it sounds.

Girls, hello everyone. I also recently bought an updated Brandik, I cook on the sly, try and taste it. And yesterday, cooking according to the recipe from the book, "potato casserole with mushrooms" in the recommended "rice" mode, I did not succeed, the pressure did not accumulate and everything remained half-baked. I repeated the procedure - the result is the same. Ultimately cooked on stew. And today on the forum I came across the same reviews. Now I sit and worry about how to cook pilaf.

I wrote about the problem of a set of pressure on the "RIS" program. After unsuccessful preparation of the "casserole", I decided to make just rice and ....... everything worked out !!!!!! The pressure is on, the rice is cooked right
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
SPECIALIST, with a casserole, you didn't have enough liquid to build up pressure and that's all. And when they cooked rice, then everything turned out as it should due to the presence of water in the bowl.So don't worry. Everything is fine with you.

Hello everybody. Recently she became the owner of a pressure cooker and immediately began to cook porridge, rice, millet, oatmeal. So 3 times everything was fine, but then and now, no matter how much I cook, they burn, and that's all. Yes, to be honest, and not only porridge, second courses too. Yesterday I made pork with beef, and the bottom also burned ((((I don’t know what to do anymore .... Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong ??

I rarely use a pressure cooker for a day, the meat is only in it and nothing has ever burnt, although I always set the time more than necessary.

So I am always surprised by such messages. No matter how much I cooked, there was never even a hint of burntness. Moreover, such messages are always from newbies with one message.
Natalya, what mode are you cooking on? How long? Under pressure or not? Can I be specific? And it is desirable to see the photo.

I put 1 m / st on porridge. cereals and 2 m / st of water, 3 m / st. milk, as they wrote in the recipe book, and nothing burns.

Hello dear sorceresses!

Thanks to this wonderful forum, for the second year I have been the proud owner of a multicooker from this company. During this time, she has made happy almost all friends and relatives with multicooker. Now she has matured to a pressure cooker (the girls are right, they say one hundred percent agree with them about what else they want later).

I want to buy a pressure cooker and a spare ring right away. But here's a question on a regular basis: what can a stainless steel bowl be useful for? I have not yet understood - do I need it, or will the one that comes with the kit be enough? Like for soup. But on the other hand, if you first sauté the vegetables, and then pour the broth or meat there, then for this purpose it is better with a nonstick one after all ... Share your ideas, who uses a stainless steel bowl - why do you need it so much? Otherwise, I just can't make a decision.

Elena

if I understood correctly, a stainless bowl is bought for cooking where there are bones (jellied meat, ribs, etc.), so as not to injure the coating of the bowl

In the meantime, it is not necessary to accept it, because the quality is in doubt. It is already clear that there is not a stainless steel
We are waiting for a response from the firm on this issue.

but in general, I bought myself this one primarily for soups and meat dishes ..
ElenaNSK
Yes, I read about the quality of the stainless steel bowl.
But I was very pleased with the attitude of the company representatives to the problem. They are as always on top!
I think they will definitely solve the problem, and they will be all right with the bowl.

Therefore, I want to decide. Aspic - yes, but I will not cook it very often, a maximum of a couple of times a year. The girls seemed to cook in their own bowl without much damage to the coating. The rest of the bones are not very relevant - we only have breakfast and dinner at home.

On good, should recall the products, buyers reimburse the costs.
Well, then the issue should be resolved directly with the manufacturer, we do not know on what terms contracts are concluded with them.

Recently purchased a stainless steel bowl and an O-ring. Pressure cooker from the first batch, the new ring is great. I read the reviews about the stainless steel and began to look closely at my bowl. I cooked soup, porridge, pilaf, steamed vegetables, everything in it. There are no chips, there are specks, as in an ordinary stainless steel saucepan, from water and food. If you rub them a little, they are washed. I concluded that small dots are the remains of food and limescale from the water. Everything is visible on stainless steel, as on a chrome faucet. It does not magnetise, only slightly the bottom, which has a thickening. I compared it with the existing stainless steel pots, which are polished on the outside and matte on the inside, the bowl from the pressure cooker is polished inside and outside. After washing in the dishwasher, everything is like a mirror.
I use it for 2 weeks, while I'm happy, I leave food in it for storage in the refrigerator. There are advantages: you can stir food with any spoons, store food in it, as well as dishwasher safe, durable. I will follow the changes, but so far there are no complaints
omts
The saucepan is good, as a pressure cooker, it works perfectly and on the market in its segment, and even with such a pricing policy, it is a serious competitor to manufacturers of similar goods with big names, but as always, not without nuances ... frustrating is the bowl that is positioned as "Stainless steel bowl ", nobody claims 98% nickel in it, but for its price (I think it's worthy) it should at least be a full-fledged stainless steel table ...
The sealing ring, which, it seems to me, has nothing to do with silicone, silicone without impurities is a neutral material and should not have its own odors a priori. In my opinion, this material is plastic (the smell of plastics from the Middle Kingdom is very familiar), the smell itself, which is slightly veiled by the aromas of spices of cooking in a saucepan, is alarming, personally it smells of something toxic to me and on the basis of this I have some preoccupation with my health and loved ones. Perhaps this smell is present on the O-rings only in the "new improved" series, but for me personally it does not change much.

ps on my "stainless" bowl, after the first cooking of borscht, traces of peeling of the spraying on the upper rim were also found, I just like many would like to hear from the representatives of the BRAND about this.

Hello, you are cooking porridge for a side dish for the specified time - 13 minutes. - or dairy?
Irina.
I'm still in my stainless steel. I don't cook more often, I set it aside until the issue was resolved. I'm waiting for the test result.
The first time I stewed meat in it, I thought it would stick to the bottom, but nothing stuck, it turned out great.
Many people write about the smell from the ring and the transfer of the smell to the following dishes. But I didn't have and don't have any smell now. I can cook meat, wipe the lid, wash the bowl and bake a biscuit, the smell is not transmitted, but I would smell like a dog's.

This is my second month of pressure cooker. Girls, thank you all for the advice, especially the one who tested the CB. Before buying, I read and studied everything from the first page. Then I waited for an updated model. My first pressure cooker, there was only a multicooker, so I was afraid of pressure. But it turned out that everything is simple and there is nothing wrong. And a special thank you to who gave advice (I didn't remember the name, but now I can't find it) that you need to press the lid when you pressurize and the valve closes immediately.
I just adore the pressure cooker, it works for me several times a day. Now I'm looking at the smokehouse, but that's another story.

you need to press the lid when gaining pressure and the valve closes immediately.

So I do not experience any inconvenience with the smell. It is not transferred from dish to dish, even after stewed cabbage. And I don’t smell the ring itself, why. Of course, she may have already got used to over the years of using the multicooker, but never bothered about this.

Now I sometimes do it even trickier when I want to accelerate the start of pressure build-up. When the contents of the bowl have already warmed up (the time depends on the amount of contents, from 5 minutes) I just lift the closed lid and lower it. The float is closed immediately.

No, I didn’t. Disconnected Fry. Poured 2 tbsp. spoons of water. She closed the lid. I set the valve to high pressure and turned on the Game for 30 minutes. I did not relieve the pressure, I kept it on heating.

Hello everyone. Meet another owner of Brand 6050. Yesterday morning, quite unexpectedly, a surprise arrived, please get it in the shopping center. I ordered it on Wednesday, the money was credited to the account on Thursday, and on Monday I have it, by the way, a letter from the company that they sent the cartoon came later than I received it. It remains only to find the time and try it, I think everything will work out tomorrow.
Lord 68
Tricky question. Does everyone have only one silicone insert at the bottom? It turns out that I have it spinning around like a whirligig, uncomfortable. It feels like there should be two more silicone inserts.

Excuse me, what day? I only have a silicone insert in the lid ....
Lord 68
If you turn it upside down, you will see three small types of legs on which it stands. In one leg, the silicone insert does not slip, and in the other two there is no insert, so it can spin around this silicone insert.
lobacheva
Sorry, it didn't reach right away. Somehow I didn't look there. The pressure cooker does not spin, but if you move it, it moves. I'll take a look in the evening, but in my opinion there is no silicone there.

Alexander, take a closer look at the legs, they have features. There should be only one such white silicone "pipka", on the leg located at the back, as a stop.
Lord 68
Yes, I thought so myself, but it's not very comfortable, I touched it a little harder and it starts spinning. Maybe because the coating on the working panel of the kitchen is like that. We need to think of something. Moreover, in other legs, holes are also provided, you can stuff some rubber bands.
