Buy replacement silicone rings. You probably have an individual sensitivity to odors.
So if only I and the whole family (probably - relatives We are working on the rings, we are waiting for when relatives will come to us (we are not from Moscow and St. Petersburg, there are no dealers nearby, and shipping is even more expensive ...)
Elena Br
If your family is very sensitive to foreign odors, then the purchase of additional O-rings will solve all problems, and the smells of previous dishes will not be transmitted to the cook.

In St. Petersburg we have dealers, try to ask them for the availability of accessories for the Brand 6050 pressure cooker-multicooker. The list of the dealer can be found here 🔗

I also wanted to ask - what does the rate of pressure rise depend on? on the amount of food prepared? or on the amount of water? How can you shorten the pressure build-up time? on the mode, the soup sometimes takes 20 minutes!

in my opinion, both the amount of food and the amount of food. For soup, I now just pour boiling water, then things go much faster)))
I just pour some water into the bowl and put on the kettle. When the water in the kettle boils, then the bowl of water has already heated up (so that there is no large temperature difference)

From the start of the program until the operating pressure is reached, the heating element operates at full capacity. Therefore, the time to build up the working pressure depends on the amount and the initial temperature of the contents of the bowl.

I cook on the RICE mode - in proportions, as for pilaf from a recipe book

I just had lunch with just this kind of rice (with steamed fish cooked before it).

I cooked as written in the instructions for the "rice" mode: measure, rinse the rice, place in a bowl. Add water to the appropriate mark: how many measuring cups of rice are up to this CUP mark and pour water. The main thing is not more than 3/5 because of the foaming properties of rice. Switch on the "rice" mode (by default 14 minutes). The rice turned out to be unusually crumbly.

By the way, instead of water, I used water that remained after steamed fish. It is so fat that it makes a broth. Delicious! Isn't it harmful - does anyone know?

Tanyulya, how do you bake bread like lavash in more detail?

I tried the porridge mode, it did not help. To be honest, I started with it, well, for reasons of saving time, but due to failure I switched to baking, I will try to increase the time. Unsubscribe how it will end, but you did not accidentally have such an experience?
Elena Bo
If you don't want to lengthen the time, reduce the amount of ingredients. It can be seen with the amount that you lay the time in 59 minutes. lacks. Do not open the lid during baking. Be sure to check the baked goods with a wooden stick for dryness. If not ready, add time.

Helen, it seems to me that there are not so many ingredients, the last one to make was a biscuit with semolina, 350 g of kefir, 350 g of flour / semolina, 3 eggs, and there is sugar, butter, vanilla. Do you think, from an experienced eye, will 1 hour be enough?

I agree to all 100. Svetta write a recipe, perhaps in addition to the number of ingredients in general, reduce the amount of liquid in particular.

Have you baked it before? Or is this a new recipe? Try something from baked goods already tested by girls in multicooker and pressure cooker. I'm also somehow strange that so much liquid. For the oven, it may be nothing, there the liquid is actively evaporated.

Do not leave baked goods under the lid after cooking. It is then that condensation forms.

Everything worked out for me, and charlottes and biscuits, these are from the site for girls' recipes.
The first failure befell me just on recipes from our Temka.
Attached was a reliable photo that everything worked out, I got a raw pancake.
PIE "MORNING TREATMENT"
"porridge" - 20 minutes
2 eggs; 1 st. kefir; 1 / 2h. l. salt, sugar, soda with flour; flour 1.5 tbsp; 200g cheese, grated sausage (arbitrary quantity of a piece of old cheese and "ass" of smoked sausage, ham ...).
Mix, pour into a greased bowl; incl. "porridge" mode for 20 minutes.
After 5 minutes, the countdown began, opened the pressure cooker after 5 minutes.
The cake baked great; 20 minutes is the best time for him.
Elena Bo
I didn't bake this cake, but I think that if I did, it would be at least 30 minutes. All that baked on Rice (also bakes faster, like Porridge) baked for 30 minutes. But the baked goods in these programs are more moist, but not sticky, that is, everything is baked. Many have a mistake in mixing. Soda and flour should be added last when kneading. And do not knead with fanaticism, but simply actively mix with the rest of the contents and immediately transfer to a greased bowl and bake.
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
Swetta, Elena Bo is right, not for CB this manna recipe, only for the oven: 350 gr. kefir + sugar is a lot of liquid, and there is a very large amount of flour. When adapting the recipe for CB, focus on the amount of flour, maximum 1 - 1.5 cups. And the liquid, respectively. As an experiment, you can halve this recipe, but even then I doubt that something will come out good.

One thing is upsetting that I apparently have a defective valve. Letting off steam almost all the time. If you press the edge of the valve handle (for which we turn the valve), then there is silence, but as soon as I release it, it hisses again. Go to the service. the center was once ... a small child and we don't have a car. So far we endure. But leaving my Brandon alone is scary ... suddenly steal

Put the dumplings on the bottom, preferably in one layer (you can turn on Frying / meat while all this is being done, heating will already start). A little sunflower oil, hot water with salt (just to cover the dumplings). Close, pressure. Steam cooking 3 min. for meat and 2 min. for dumplings with ready-made filling. Release the pressure immediately and take it out.

People! Don't throw anything at me, please! But anyway!!! 37501, 37502 or 6050 ?? For the next day I have been reading your forum, even in the meantime I went and bought a Vitesse VS 518 multicooker (after going around I’ll give my mom to the DR) I didn’t like it a little that it still burns in it, if not stirring. So a dilemma arose for me - what should I buy for myself? But I definitely don't need two - a pressure cooker and a slow cooker. You need one thing! Us: a family of 4 people. two adults and two children (9 and 11 years old). I do not work all the time, I appear at home during the day, now I cook every day (I like having a fresh dinner at home), I can cook soup for 2-3 days (my son is very fond of soups). In the device I'm going to: cook, fry, stew, swim, etc. WHAT TO TAKE ??? I still want a delayed start, I want it not to burn and I don't want to go to it all the time, I want to cook rich tasty soups and fry juicy soft meat so that it melts in my mouth! I don't want the oven, I do it in the oven (although ...everything is so beautifully written and shown here) In general, comrades, girls, we need to decide today, because if I don’t book them today, they will not be in 2-3 weeks again. Itself more inclined to 6050 (on the table temptingly unpaid invoice looms ....)
Vladzia
Tada the pressure cooker! ETOGES 2 in 1 ... You can just like a slow cooker, but you need to, it will cook ... Soups can be cooked 2 times a day, by saving time. : girl_skakalka: This is my humble opinion.
Veryska
Well, somehow I still want a pressure cooker. The truth is still confused by the need for constant pressure relief. Who can tell: is it tastier in a pressure cooker than in a cartoon? I don’t even ask about the stove. Today she bungled a herculean kush for the child in her Vitesse (bought for her mother). So I have never eaten such porridge in my life - tender, like a soufflé (though I had to stir it all the time, but this is most likely a minus of my personal Vitesse, hope that this does not happen in Brands.
Vladzia
I don’t know porridge, I don’t cook it, but the meat is definitely tastier. Now the girls will catch up - they will tell everything about porridge. You can reread the whole Temko, there is a lot about cereals and comparisons. You can read the topic about Oursson, I think Admin wrote there why it tastes better in a pressure cooker ...

Not quite so This pressureless pressure cooker only cooks in two modes: Fry and Bake. All other modes with pressure. That is, say, extinguishing without pressure will not work. And so ... although I don't have a pressure cooker, I'm sure that meat in it turns out to be tender much faster than in a slow cooker. And if for you, Veryska, this is important, then your choice is a pressure cooker.
Favorite
I would recommend a multicooker, a pressure cooker for those who cook in an emergency mode (everything is urgent, everything should be ready yesterday). And if a person appears at home, then it seems to me that a slow cooker is the best way out. You can open it at any time - prevent it from tracing, switch to another mode ....... (but this is my personal opinion)

The truth is still confused by the need for constant pressure relief.
And what confuses you there?
Turn the lever and the pressure is released. You just need not to get under the stream and not substitute the furniture, that is, the pressure cooker should not stand under something, so that the space is free to the ceiling.
I manually relieve pressure often. And sometimes I leave it to languish and it goes away by itself. Nothing confuses me here.

Now I made awesome pea soup without soaking. First, I cooked the peas on the "beans" mode (default 30 min.), The peas were boiled almost in mashed potatoes, and then, adding the rest of the ingredients, cooked them on the "soup" mode.
Elena Bo
Pea soup is perfectly cooked in 30 minutes. on Soup without pretreatment.

The first time I did it in a pressure cooker. I decided to play it safe, because everywhere, even in the instructions for the pressure cooker, it is written about soaking beans (in the instructions, however, about beans).

Next time I will try as you say. I'm sure it will turn out very tasty too!

How will the updated pressure cooker differ from the current one? There is also a pressure cooker on the site, is this an updated version or will the 6050 model have its own restyling? It's just that I'm always greedy for the maximum configuration, even if I'm not sure that I will use all the programs, all the same - it is necessary !!!! And then there is also pressure cookers being updated all the time, in particular 37502, you would feel sorry for people, because there will not be enough nerves.

The updated Brand 6050 will have an improved silicone gasket and all modes will be able to adjust the time from 1 minute.

Brand 6050 and Brand 6060 are completely different models of pressure cookers (the latter is also a smokehouse, but it does not have many modes that the former has).

Brand 37502, and later Brand 502 (updated version) is not a pressure cooker, but a multicooker.

Oh, sorry, I really wanted to write "multicooker"!
Well, then I'm in line for a smokehouse-pressure cooker and a slow cooker, but I haven't decided which one I want more! But I think that a duo of models 6060 and 37502 (or 502) will be perfect!

Good day.
Veryska, I also recommend the 6050 pressure cooker.
Since you already have experience of cooking in a multicooker, it will not be difficult for you to cook in a pressure cooker. And after you yourself relieve the pressure a couple of times, you will understand that there is nothing complicated about it. Therefore, I recommend the Brand pressure cooker.
