Ingredients

Glass 200ml
Sugar 1 glass
Flour 1 glass
Semolina 1 glass
Sour cream 1 glass
Margarine 100g
Eggs 2 pieces
Soda slaked with vinegar 1 tsp under the knife
A pinch of salt pour into flour

Cooking method

  • Soften margarine.
  • Mix eggs, sugar, margarine and sour cream with a mixer. Then add flour and salt, soda - mix. Add semolina in portions, without stopping stirring. Put the dough into a mold. Let it brew for 10-15 minutes. Bake at 180 aboutFrom until golden brown.
  • Cool the ready manna before cutting, at this time it is still ripening, the semolina continues to swell.

Note

In the form of a wreath, my manna turns out to be so "ruddy".

I add an apple to the "wreath" (I put part of the dough in a mold, finely chopped apple, sprinkle with cinnamon, dough again). I like it the most.

I usually think about pouring semolina too late. That is why I take the margarine out of the refrigerator and while it is "warming up", I measure out the rest of the ingredients. I mix everything quickly with a mixer. I let it brew while the oven is heating and into the oven. And my semolina swells usually in the finished manna. I love that the manna was crumbly. This is how it comes out.

Oh, I still remembered. Once soaked it with orange syrup. Heat 0.5 cups of freshly squeezed orange juice with sugar (to taste) until the sugar dissolves. Delicious!

I really like to pour the cake with lemon syrup right after baking, I specially cook it for manna and a jar on duty for these purposes is always in the refrigerator. Sometimes I bake it whole, and sometimes I bake it in a silicone cupcake mold - 16 small cupcakes are obtained.

I put butter instead of margarine, and yogurt instead of sour cream (the fat content, probably, that's what I did), put a little vanilla.
