Apple jam according to the English recipe

Ingredients

Apples

Candied fruit 100 g
Juice of 1 lemon
Sherry

Cooking method

  • Wash the apples, peel and core. Cut into thin slices. Oil the bottom of a deep saucepan. Put apples, add 600 ml of water and raisins. Cook for 20 minutes. Add spices, sugar, candied fruits and lemon juice. Cook, stirring occasionally, for another 20 minutes. Pour in the sherry and immediately place the jam in warm sterilized jars. Close hermetically and put in a cool place. The jam will be ready in 2 weeks.

I did it in a slow cooker, stir it once when I put the spices. The consistency turned out to be puree, very delicate in taste with slightly boiled raisins.
The changes were made unintentionally, which was as they say. But in the morning my husband tried it and said: it's a pity that you did a lot as usual. this one tastes better.

Crochet, I did just that (only without candied fruits and instead of sherry I added krambambula from Tumanchik) and already poured it into the cans.
