went over the links on the first page for making yogurt.
Girls, and nobody tried to use children's yogurt, such as Agusha, Tyoma? My baby is only 9 months old and I'm afraid to give yogurt for adults. I read that it is important that the shelf life is not long (3 days), and not like in such yoghurts for six months. But not about that. Has anyone tried it or not?)

And further. 2 weeks ago I baked salmon, it was on baking. And in any mode there is no smell. But on a paruuuu .... Every day I cook vegetables for a couple of daughters. The smell of fish throughout the kitchen. And I washed everything, and in general, I wipe it with a cartoon after cooking. And the smell remained. Maybe steam some water with lemon?
Manna
Cartoon, for the kid, definitely only yogurt from dry starter cultures (for example, Lactina bifidum) !!! Here I am RickI have already spoken about it HERE and HERE.

Yes Yes. I did just that. My son is a year and a month old, eating this yogurt on both cheeks. I myself thought so and completely agree with mannathat for the child you need to be sure that you are giving only what is useful.
Cartoon
manna, thanks a lot. Didn't know about leaven
I read about sterilization and realized that this is the only way to do it - in bottles)
I sit thinking about these leavens. I read what to buy in pharmacies.
And I have a full package of dry bifidumbacterin in the refrigerator, like this:
Testing multicooker Brand 37501

Now I google it, some add it. Have you tried it? Did you add and receive yogurt in milk? Miracles!))
I'm zero in this business, but I want to do something useful myself)

Well, that's why I ask to be sure) Children are our everything))
Rick
I also have bifidumbacterin in my refrigerator, but the instructions for it do not say that you can make yogurt with it. Maybe someone does. I bought an Evitalia starter culture at the pharmacy (it was just that at that moment it was available) and did everything according to the instructions. It is also well described here how they did
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...=com_smf&topic=171094.360 , answer No. 366
and in our topic, p. 181.
If your child basically eats such products, he will like it. Very delicate yogurt turns out.
Manna
Bifidobacteria do not multiply in milk. In dry starter cultures, they are in excess for one starter culture (re-fermentation is impossible).

Luysia
There is no special container for yoghurt in Brand 37501. Yogurt is great in a multicooker bowl. But you can also use glasses from the Brand 4001 yogurt maker or other suitable utensils.

Yesterday I answered the question:

I make in jars of Ratibor jam, or you can use those for yogurt makers. In some other CF, these cups come either as a complete set or as an option, you can always buy in addition, but why spend another 500-600 rubles, if you can always just scrape together jars in the cabinets and also the same ones?
Rick
That's what the girls here advised me. I am doing this now.

Quote: Oca

Four 0.5 cans will fit in 37501yu, and if you try, then 0.75 liters. I put it on a silicone mat-stand under the hot, so as not to scratch the bottom. Then I slowly drag it from the jar with a spoon

Quote: Oca

No, I deceived ... 4 x 500 ml fit by rail, but 4 x 750 ml is not particularly .. you need to staggered two 750 ml and two 500 ml - then the lid closes freely, or three 750 ml. With four did not close (possibly due to the thickness of the mat underneath).

Quote: Aygul

2 liters of milk fit easily into 3 0.7 liter cans that fit easily into the multi bowl. You just try to put them, so to speak, try on
In any case, it is better to cook in jars, because many different products are prepared in the bowl and, perhaps, not everything is washed to sterility, and rinsing the cold bowl with boiling water is harmful to the bowl itself.

Slowly I am mastering my silver ... Angel's Tears, "Navy-style" Potatoes - everything is great!
But with milk porridge, something is a little bit wrong ... Or am I being wise or something wrong ...
In general, they run away through the valve ... not much, of course, but unpleasant milk splashes on the lid, everything inside is also porridge + in the valve ... and even behind there was a small puddle of milk ...
Maybe I'm doing something wrong ... 1 MC of oatmeal (cereals, not flakes) + 3 MC of milk (fresh, 2.5%) + 2 MC of water + salt, oil drain., Sweetener in tablets). And the second porridge is all the same, only instead of oats - rice. I put it on with a delay until 5:30 then heating. I put the oatmeal for 30 minutes. Rice for an hour. Both cereals turned out to be five-plus. But to clean up the cartoon - so not AKota !!!! ... but you must!
Help, please, girls!

First, Happy Holidays!
Secondly,...
Honestly, I do not understand at all how this can be
Every day I cook milk porridge in it, moreover, often in pure milk (different!), And rolled oats, and millet, and rice, and buckwheat ... but there were NEVER even attempts to get up, let alone run away.
I'm sinning on your sweetener. All the same, this is chemistry, and in what reaction does it enter with milk and cereals in the process, who knows?
What kind of milk do you use?
Try boiling 2.5% UHT milk in half with water and no sweetener. Although she should still cook calmly without shoots.
The problems are most likely associated with either milk or a sugar substitute.
Lendi_Star
Thank you, Vei, and for congratulations and for a quick response!
I myself have already thought about this sweetener ... Plin, head full of holes garden ... you can add it later (!). Well I, too, WANT SMOOTH PURPOSE ... and NIZA sugar! In general, I will try to cook only with salt!

Happy holiday everyone, girls !!!

Lendi_Star
Cooked milk rice-millet porridge (cereal ratio 1:1). She took milk 2.5% pasteurized. 1:4... With a delay, cooking for 1 hour + heating (~ 1 hour). I didn't run through the valve. Inside attempts were observed - climbed onto the inner lid. But there was definitely not enough milk! We love the thin one, but here everything is in one lump. So I think, maybe it does not need to be cooked for an hour, but, for example, 40 minutes with heating ... I will experiment further!
ONCE AGAIN! HAPPY HOLIDAY !!!!

1. Milk rice and millet porridge.

I believe that if the multicooker could cook ONLY exclusively milk porridge, then you would still need to buy them. Therefore, the first dish is milk porridge.

In Panasonic, the Milk porridge mode is automatic, that is, the cooking time cannot be set, it is fixed 1 hour.

Brand 37501 can be set between 30 and 120 minutes (default is 50 minutes). And it is GOOD! Since if I had to cook porridge in Panasonic from more than 1 glass of cereal, then I had to turn on the program a second time. And this is not convenient, because in this case you cannot put on the timer.

I set the time for porridge 1 hour. Here's what happened:

Testing multicooker Brand 37501

Boiled groats, but some free milk remains. I left it on the heat, I think the porridge will thicken a little, as I love.
Girls, whose porridge is not boiled enough, set a longer cooking time (from 60 minutes).

My first remarks.

Which is categorically did not like:

- absolutely quiet and not clear signal of the end of cooking. I have an LG bread maker and microwave, a Panasonic multicooker and I always clearly hear their signals from any corner of a three-room apartment.

And we heard this unconvincing squeak only because we looked at the scoreboard and waited for the signal.

Liked:
- that the Milk porridge mode has a cooking time setting (see above);
- a large backlit display; multi
- clock on the scoreboard (although I have more than one clock in my kitchen, but nice);
- a hinged double boiler from Panasonic enters the saucepan;
- the coating of the saucepan looks good, but we will look at its properties during operation.

Can you please tell me how to cook semolina porridge in a slow cooker, or maybe where there are recipes for milk porridge ???
Quote: Elena Bo

At least someone assures that they cook semolina and oatmeal in a multicooker - well, I don't believe it. No, I do, of course, but I don’t believe that good porridge turns out. Such cereals are boiled for 10-15 minutes.if on the stove and what's the point of cooking it for an hour? I certainly understand that laziness, but then do a water bath. And a good semolina porridge in a slow cooker can be cooked like this - bring milk to a boil, add semolina mixed with cold milk or water, sugar, salt, butter. Stir (for this it is advisable to have a silicone whisk), close the lid and turn off the multicooker after a couple of minutes. Leave on for 10 minutes. without opening. Open, stir with a whisk. Of course, you will have to go to her a couple of times, but there will be no lumps. I have a milk cooker for semolina and oatmeal, just an irreplaceable thing.

Quote: Oca

In the morning, the first thing I do is stomp to the refrigerator, take the milk out of it and pour it into the CF, add sugar (I like sweet). Steam for 5 minutes. While I wash, the milk is just about to boil. Then I pour the semolina in a thin stream and cook it like on a stove, stirring it - it will take no more than 5 minutes, which is comparable to slicing and heating sandwiches in a microwave. With a delay, you can't get the porridge of the required density.
Quote: Oca

Oh, I forgot to clarify one detail: when the porridge boils, the Steam program must be turned off, a liter of porridge will continue to puff by inertia for another 2-3 minutes. Usually this is enough for additional cooking, but if it is not enough, we run Steam, Warm-up or a similar program for a short time. I forgot this a little, because both pots from Brand are constantly in the refrigerator and filled with something tasty, and the porridge has to be cooked in Panasonic (it is not so powerful, I do not turn off the steaming there almost until the end of cooking).

Vic, and I was spoiled by the multi so that I no longer use the stove, it now works for me as a bedside table for equipment. and every morning we eat rolled oats prepared with a delayed start, sometimes with pure milk (I already wrote about this, I apologize for repeating myself) 30 minutes without heating, 1: 4.5 (mine is not liquid), I prefer 1 : 5 to make it thinner. My milk doesn't even rise on my finger!
And why is oatmeal harmful to the bowl?

Nooo, not harmful, sorry that's all.
I also don't torture myself by cooking rolled oats on the stove.
I just cooked it now ... I added flakes to the boiled milk, let it boil again, set it for 6 minutes, set it on 1., covered it with a lid and went into the bath. The porridge was perfectly cooked, the stove turned off, what more could I want?

Please tell me (I have 37501 from the first batch). I have a bowl completely "killed", and since there is no way to buy a new one yet, is it possible to buy a bowl from another MV (for example, from Redmond). I took her cup from a friend and tried it on (it seems to fit, but somehow scary) the cups have the same height, but the bottom shape is slightly different. Has anyone tried to replace the bowl?

Bowls from other multicooker are not suitable. Of course, you can conduct experiments at your own peril and risk, but I would recommend waiting until the native bowls for Brand 37501 appear on sale.

Did today Pork knuckle roll by Luysia... True, they cut my knuckle into two parts, so I decided to roll one half into a roll, and leave the other with the bones (my husband loves to gnaw them). In general, a wonderful dish!
