Lazy Pie

Ingredients

Dough
Fresh yeast 50 g
or 2 tsp. dry
Margarine or butter 100-150 g
Eggs 2 pcs.
Sour cream 200 g
Granulated sugar 1 tbsp.
Soda, slaked 0.5 tsp
Salt 0.5 tsp
Vanillin 1 g
Flour 550-650 g
Filling
Apples 0.5 kg approx
Sugar, sprinkle with apples

Cooking method

  • Stir the yeast in a minimum amount of water (if you use dry, add them together with flour), grind the eggs with sugar.
  • Melt margarine, mix with eggs and yeast.
  • Pour in sour cream, add soda, quenched with vinegar, as well as vanillin and salt.
  • Add flour and knead the dough.
  • Divide it into two unequal parts, i.e., bottom and top.
  • Roll out with a rolling pin or spread most of the dough with your hands on a baking sheet (28 x 38), on top lay the apples, cut into circles, sprinkle with sugar.
  • Cover with a second piece of dough, pinch the edges and cover with a towel.
  • That's all the work.
  • Put the prepared pie in a warm place for proofing for 2 hours.
  • During this time, it will rise, brush it with an egg, sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • You can sprinkle with streusel, there will be a festive option.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes at 190-200 degrees C.

Despite my great life and kitchen experience, I learned a lot from you and I want to bring to your attention a wonderful pie, I found it 30 years ago either in Rabotnitsa or in Peasant Woman. In 20-30 minutes, the cake is made and you are free for other things, just do not forget to set the timer.

Can be made with jam, but especially delicious with apples.

I would not say that he lazy: after all, you will have to roll out the dough... I understand LAZY - this is when the dough is like pancakes and you need to pour something. I've also been making such a pie for about 25 years, but I like to put a lot of apples in the filling and THEN I WILL JUST LICK FINGERS. I also sprinkle a little (not always) the apples with starch, then the syrup will not flow out of the pie !!!

If you spread the dough in a yeast pie like on pancakes, then it will already be super lazy, there is more fuss with apples than with dough, and we have not chosen him for nothing as a favorite!
