Here the question arose, as from the one who just bought it, but you can't put potatoes in a double boiler and put them with the meat ??? or the temperature is high, the steamer will melt

Quote: ALKA

That's exactly what I did. : yes: Meat for "Stew", and potatoes on top in a double boiler.
Quote: Levitan

In multicooker, duet dishes are made (there are duet recipes on the Internet). Garnish at the bottom, cutlets (fish, meat, etc.) at the top, or vice versa, meat at the bottom, garnish on top.
Mar_k
So I use my magic pot and I can't rejoice !!! And when I just threw the soup into the pot, it dawned on me what Levitan had in mind when explaining to me the difference between the M70 and the M4502 (... In the m70, in advance or during cooking, you can turn off the auto-heating, which turns on itself in any MV after the end of the program ") In M4502, you can turn it off only after cooking, and if after starting the program, everything is reset .... That is, if you do not need heating, then you need to wait for the cooking end time, on the one hand it is not convenient, but on the other it is not so important.
And so I am very happy, I created a chicken with vegetables, I left everything in a pot and cook, and it cooked, very tasty. And it keeps warm for a long time.
Mar_k
Hello everybody! I have been using my magic pot for the second day, I really like everything, but today, after frying and stewing, I found on the outside a scuff from a heating disc in the center, and a rim along the edge of the bottom - is this the case for all pots or for me only? And I did yogurt, everything worked out. From "Agusha" I made drinking, a little sour than from Activia it turned out. Everything's OK!!

yes, everyone
and not only in these cartoons

I want to add to Arka's answer that this does not affect the operation of the multicooker and the preparation of food.

Good afternoon everyone.
I want to share my joy associated with the purchase of the Redmond RMC-M70 multicooker. An excellent purchase: comfortable, beautiful, multifunctional. I have two children, this miracle of technology saves not only electricity, but also my time.
when choosing a multicooker, I relied on the opinion of friends and comrades, I also read many different reviews.
I ordered a multicooker from an authorized Redmond dealer.
I used the site 🔗 to order my RMC-M70. I was satisfied with the service. the multicooker was brought on the specified day and time, delivery is free from 3000 rubles.
Every day I cook now only on it. It is no longer necessary to wash a huge number of pans, pots, etc.
I am very glad and recommend to my friends.

Mar_k
Thank you all, they reassured me ... Yes, for the third day now I have not used a gas stove, and I do not eat a lot of e-va, it fits into the budget ...

Yes, here's another thing I can say, having the Zepter dishes bought during the time of the king of peas, porridge in Zepter turns out better than in an ordinary saucepan, both in time and in quality, but in Multivark it is even better in all respects.
Helga Igor
I agree that the porridge is very tasty and fast. Redmond also has a recipe book for 200 recipes. I prepared a lot of dishes for the family.

Good day to all! I want to give my wife MV Redmond 4502 for New Year's Eve. Two questions: where to order a ceramic bowl (which website does it mean to order additional electronic scales, and which is better - with a bowl or with a platform? Thank you.
Michael 2
pastoral38, because of the poor thermal conductivity of stainless and ceramic bowls, I advise you to buy the main bowl as a second bowl, that is, aluminum with a non-stick coating. Aluminum bowls are the best and cheapest.
If the scales allow you to weigh with an accuracy of no worse than ± 5 g, then be sure to buy. If the accuracy is worse, then refrain from buying.
Well, the scales with a bowl, of course, are more convenient, especially when weighing bulk products.
Before making the final choice of a multicooker, consider purchasing a "Polaris PMC 0517AD". A very tempting model!
Arka
And I would not refuse a ceramic bowl. Why 2 are the same when they can complement each other.
In ceramic, it is not scary to cook / stew meat on the bones - no scratches. And everything glides well in it, does not stick - these advantages can be used in many places.
About the scales: personally, it is more convenient for me just without a bowl, its role will be performed any the container in which you do something. But in storage, such flat scales are just a find, they take up very little space. And it is better to choose a measurement step of 1 year, this does not affect the cost.
Levitan
pastoral38
You don't need a scale to cook in a multicooker. Having dealt with the modes, you can cook according to your usual recipes.
I don't like the ceramic bowl, there are a lot of bad reviews about it, it quickly starts to stick. A good non-stick bowl, the one outside is bronze in color. Stainless steel is good to stew and cook, not scary to scratch. But frying and baking in it is not very good. I have 5 bowls, I use all of them, several bowls are very convenient. Three Redmond bowls: ceramics, non-stick and stainless steel, I ordered two bowls in Tomsk from the NEC company - non-stick (very high-quality coating) and just aluminum made of food certified aluminum, in which you can fry with bones and metal spoons.
I recommend to immediately buy the tongs for the bowl, not the ones that come with the kit, but there are others. everything on the site you specified.
About Polaris 517 - I do not recommend buying. The bowl is the same as the ceramic one in Redmond, even the pattern on the bottom is the same, only it is painted gray and the handles are riveted with bolts. So soon it will stick to these cups, and spare parts for Polaris 517 are not sold.
Polaris modes are not finalized. Stewing for at least 2 hours is what was in the first Redmond 4502 last year (now from 10 minutes to 12 hours), and that Redmond has fixed in new models. At 517 there is no delayed start on porridge - this is strange for a multicooker. New users cook porridge on a multi-cook, but this is not quite the case - the porridge and multi-cook modes are different algorithms. In general, a delayed start at 517 is not enough for any programs, at 4502 for all except frying and pasta.
on baking, the time cannot be adjusted (50 minutes), again what Redmond had and in new models has been corrected (now from 3 minutes to 4 hours). milk porridge for a maximum of 30 minutes - it will not be enough (in 4502 from 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes). there is no time adjustment on the groats (for groats in 4502, boil from 5 minutes to 2 hours). heating in 517 only 20 minutes - it is not clear why so little. That is, the regimes in 517 are even worse than they were in 4502 a year and a half ago. and now 4502 is far ahead.

What a caring and attentive husband you are !!! Praise to you!!! Buy Redmond you can't go wrong, very good multicooker, can do everything !!! The only thing, but this is not important, after each program the "keep warm" mode is switched on - this is convenient for all dishes, except for yogurt, you have to watch out here, otherwise you will get kefir. Good luck !!!

Right. And in other multicooker, where there is a yogurt program, you need to be near the multicooker by the time the program ends, kefir will not work, but the yogurt will oxyderate. In general, I keep yogurt on a multi-cooker for only 2 hours, and then I turn off the multicooker completely, but I don't open it, the multicooker keeps heat like in a thermos. Previously, when there were no multi-cookers, homemade yoghurts were made in thermoses.

Hello everybody! Here I want to share my impression of the cooked borscht in the "STEWING" mode.I cooked it in haste, that is, I left dry vegetables (beets, carrots, peppers and tomatoes) in the borsch; only potatoes and greens were fresh. To my delight, the tomatoes, in particular, opened up as if they had been freshly added; in an ordinary saucepan, they looked a little dry, scorched, although they became soft. And I completely swallowed the pepper and did not understand (it was cut into strips), but in an ordinary saucepan it was not very cooked, the child constantly choked on it.

Take the M4502 into the ranks!
On November 12, I accidentally stumbled upon the site of one Moscow Internet store on the M4502 at a pleasant price of 10 rubles less than 5000.
making sure that this cartoon is new (in the sense of modification, with 16 main programs), I bought it.
and now a text message has arrived that it is already at the point of issue!
and why didn't I take two ?!
Now my son will have to buy under the Christmas tree in St. Petersburg at a price like everywhere else - 6000.
Well, okay!
Let's eat porridge in the morning tomorrow!

you run the mulk - at least a little yourself - then if there are no complaints, buy it for your son - if you do not delay the time, I think it will be

what do you mean?
what are these mistakes?
I actually dig the Internet for a couple of weeks in search of information on cartoons and in general on this topic and on models in particular.
while I see an alternative only M70 if that .. like he himself would not refuse it.
maybe our son M70 and buy.
not! I would certainly not mind the BORK U700, but the price ...
and even the appearance of Element FWA 01 PB El'Chef does not cause me to try to buy such a unit.
and all because of the price !!
Nymph
I have 2 cartoons - Panasonic 10 and Redmond 4502.
And I fully admit that I got the reddish with my spouse - but I noticed one thing - the frying is well, very intense - the product, to put it mildly, is very overcooked even before the mulch goes into the countdown - although the products are not in small quantities. baking burns mercilessly - although I also do everything according to recipes from the forums - baking paper does not help - and I will not buy a silicone form - these are dances with tambourines already
and I also noticed this - when frying, I lay out the same pieces along the bottom of the bowl - and so after the same time, some pieces were barely gilded and others were burnt.
cracking when heated, it is inconceivable no clicks from turning on and off the heating element - namely, a typical crackling - it turned off a couple of times on extinguishing with an E1 error - the pan was filled with 1.5 liters of liquid - that is, I did not break anything
with cereals, it is also not so simple - it will work, then it will not work
I say this to the fact that after the purchase I began to climb the forums and it turns out that all this is not mine alone - for many - and before that I just apparently did not pay attention to this information - apparently I really wanted it - this cartoon

my opinion is for this model - that the ideas are straightforward to notice - but it has not been finalized, of course it is more perfect than the model of 2011 or early 2012 - but not everything there is far from what was stated

again, I repeat, I do not exclude that I was just unlucky, this is just my IMHO

PiSi - my Element (which my relatives decided to present to me) was lost in the online store - they are looking with dogs, they cannot figure out whether the mule was delivered to the shopping center or not
so maybe on the sly and I'll return the money - it's very expensive

Levitan
Margarita, can you take Redmond to the service for testing? Looks like your slow cooker is too "aggressive"
Nymph
Irina, the trouble is that we do not have Redmond's service - when I called the service, which is the largest in our city, it was not that they refused me - but this is not yet developed in our periphery ... I did not dare in general Leave them - besides, there is no contract with this service center at Redmond, that is, it would still cost me a pretty penny
Two weeks from the moment of purchase have passed at the end of September - while the mulka is under special control - if the same dynamics continue - I will carry it back to the store

I wrote this to the fact that any experience is important, and it is better to learn from other people's mistakes, in every family habits, addictions are different and it makes sense to try the first device - will you like everything - and then buy another one of the same.

I'm not afraid to be trivial.
First course at 4502.
Brought home a cartoon yesterday evening. Unpacked, laid out, wiped, washed.
The beauty! And my wife liked it too, but she was wary - I tortured her with kitchen devices.
Before going to bed, leafing through: I’m an instruction, she’s a recipe book.
Well, my sweetheart expressed her cherished desire - to eat Hercules porridge for breakfast. Moreover, she saw it in the recipe book.
But! Correction of the recipe immediately began: there is a lot of milk, a lot of oats, etc.
She has her own experience, there is no getting away from it. I understand.
However, I conceded to her only in the amount of porridge at the exit. That is, I halved everything in the recipe. And he did the rest strictly according to the recipe. I got up and did everything!
The meal is ready at 6.50 (even though it is Saturday, but my wife has a working day - she teaches the kids music at school). That is, delayed start.
And now it sounded the first melodic multi signal in our kitchen!
There is a slight smell of porridge. But not as thick as from a bread machine.
We sat down to breakfast. Yes! This is something with something!
Honestly - I'm not a fan of cereals. But I really liked this porridge. And even more so for his wife - she loves and appreciates them.
Delicate, boiled, with a light golden crust on the bottom (the crust is not hard at all, it just has a slightly different color from the porridge itself). In addition, I bought the oats myself on a bird, i.e. the seller himself has his own mill. He himself prepares cereals and everything else from grains. And therefore oats have a slightly coarser texture than in a pack bought in a store. And this roughness of the structure of homemade oats gave an interesting effect in our first multi-cooker porridge - it is all tender and pleasant, but nevertheless has no effect of mashed potatoes. That is, oat grains are felt, although they are not hard at all.
In general, my wife is delighted, and I am pleased that I insisted on buying 4502. The cartoon is just lovely!
Mar_k
Here is the question, but oat porridge made from natural whole grains, I understood correctly, and not from oatmeal
trtvk
I'm not an expert in this, but.
Oatmeal is apparently a product of a fairly deep grain processing.
And here I have, yes, this very grain seems to be felt by the tooth. Although it is soft, almost tender, nevertheless, the porridge does not look like what is obtained from instant porridge. There, the whole mass is more homogeneous.
trtvk
For lunch, I delighted my spouse who came home from school with a dish from the multi-meat recipe book on page 47.
Again, all with a prescription. The only exception was mushrooms. Honey mushrooms were used from the freezer instead of champignons.
And again the result is five!
And for the sweet there was a curd casserole (p. 103).
One piece only. I didn't. Showed willpower. The wife is a weak character - three pieces! Which again characterizes the cartoon as a very good kitchen device.

And I specifically buy whole oats, not rolled. Very tasty porridge turns out.
As a last resort, the cheapest "Hercules", without any pretreatment, just crushed.

Today I'm waiting for my cartoon 4502! the question arose, did anyone try to put meat and potatoes in the morning, set a timer for the evening and eat it cooked? from 8 to 18 will not go out ??? probably will go out (

Or maybe throw a slightly frostbitten one and then nothing will happen in 8 hours
Zayushka
option: yes: you can try! but what about potatoes, I still want dinner with a side dish ... and yet, if anyone has experience, please, please)
Arka
I have a different experience.
I like to simmer for a long time, so that then everything melts in my mouth.
So I just put it on to stew for 5 hours, and the rest of the time before coming home from work, it languishes on heating. And I put it at night
Zigor
Why, exactly !!! You can throw everything in the morning, put a delayed start for 2-3 hours and extinguish for 2 or 3 hours, and then the heating will turn on and there is nothing to go out here ... or you can immediately turn on the cooking.
Zayushka
They brought a multicooker 4502 !!! After cooking the lemon (by the way, there was almost no smell from the cartoon even during cooking!), I decided to cook rice for a side dish. because everything else, ready-made, was already in the refrigerator and waiting for their mouths)) I cooked rice according to the book of recipes for the cartoon (p. 78). Bottom line: Loose rice is delicious, I can't compare with any cooking method, everyone really liked it !!! Well, yes, I stuck to the bowl a little, water and a sponge got rid of this trouble))) Tomorrow I will cook boneless whole chicken, do you have any tips on the regime? I want it to turn out like in a grill, I think to try it on the baking mode ...
Mar_k
I want to tell you about an unexpected negative discovery during cooking porridge. I put herculean porridge to cook, which seemed to cook in 3 minutes, to the "VRKA-porridge" function and did not choose from the menu, but started it from the panel for 10 minutes at once and, to my disappointment, the porridge did not boil .... Everything there gurgled and flakes floated from the top, the consistency of the soup and the flakes are harsh. And when I started the same function, but through the "MENU" and for 10 minutes, the porridge was cooked as needed. I always cooked porridge through the menu and then I decided differently and here is an unsuccessful result. What's the matter, I don't know, maybe a flaw

You don’t know with what temperature parameters your porridge went to cook in 10 minutes?
but the cooking-porridge mode is smart! he knows how to cook porridge (at what temperature).
Of course, a creative approach is a good thing, but IMHO it belongs when standard situations for some reason cannot be used.
Well, here is a multi-cook in our hands!
Vasya89
This Redmond, both externally and in description, is the same as the Kromax Endever MC-86 \ 7 \ 8.
It's kind of the same model under different brands.
And another question is more likely a general one - how can you use any cartoon deep-fat or do you need special modes?
trtvk
I don't know about Kromax Endever MC-86 \ 7 \ 8 - I haven't read it ..
but I tried to make deep fat on a subject.

I made 120 recipes from a book.
garbage turns out.
1.The process takes a very long time (I kept the first portion for up to 40 minutes)
2. the potatoes did not turn golden from cooking in oil and, accordingly, there is no "crunch" in it.
3. the second portion did not differ from the first.

next time I will try on a multi-cooker with a maximum temperature setting.
there will be a bit higher oil temperature.
then the temperature may be enough for frying in deep fat oil.

I had a deep fryer as such at home.
that is, you have experience with this dish.

PS searched for data on Kromax Endever ..
well - there is undoubtedly an external resemblance!
however, like many other multicooker from other brands.
redmond form M 4502 and M 70 also "took" from some kind of multicooker "progenitor".
and not only the form.
but, the difference is in the modes, in the design of the menu, and other subtleties.
Well, in the end there is a difference in price. where without it!
Vasya89
Well I looked at the photos in detail.
Even the menb looks the same and the signature buttons are almost the same. And according to the modes for KRomax, manual settings are not included in 16 modes, you can also manually set the temperature and time on it, as I understand it.
But at the same time, there is a two-fold difference in price.
And at the expense of deep fat. Is the oil boiling?
In general, I just now paid attention to the volume - it is 5 liters, it turns out 172V per liter. Isn't it too small?
Chrome with the same power per liter less.Although after reading carefully, I realized that there is no multi-cook in it, hence the main difference in price.

You talk funny. The photo shows the range of time for each mode or the algorithm of programs to compare them? And where is the Cromax multi-cook to set the manual temperature? The bodies of many multicooker are the same, because they are made at the same Chinese plant, but the software is developed by the companies themselves, and in these programs there is a big difference, even if the buttons are similar.
For example, externally, like the twin brothers of the multicooker bork, polaris 517 and redmond m90, but the filling is completely different. I will say more, on Polaris and Redmond, the programs are similar in name, but in practice there is a big difference.
Or in MV Marta, all programs have manual mode, that is, there are no programs as such, it's just that the same program is everywhere and different names have been pasted. Even on yoghurt, you can set T over 100 degrees. The photo shows a beautiful MV, and the filling ...

For comparison, you need not look at the photos, but read the instructions in detail.

I never see any reason to use a multicooker as a deep fryer, as well as a bread maker instead of a saucepan for making jam ...
There are dishes. which in the cartoon are much better and tastier than on the stove (pilaf, cereals, vegetables, jellied meat, charlottes and other biscuit pies). If there were no stove and pans at all, I probably would have fried, say, cutlets.

It seems that if you fry the whites without pouring half a saucepan of oil, the multicooker will cope with the task "with a bang." The multi-cook allows you to select a temperature of 140 degrees, this should be enough.

Vasya89
Well, there is a deep frying function, so why not use it?
And in our ski bread maker there is a Jam function with which it perfectly copes.
Well, that's theoretically. but practically about the use of deep fat there are reviews on the previous page.

Deep fat mode ?!
Nope. All this is some kind of garbage ..
Right now from the table. We dined on chebureks.
The recipe from our site is very tasty!
And I rock the chebureks on the Frying mode to cook! The temperature is 178 !!!
And all this is nonsense.
The mode turned on (by the way, in this mode there are 3 positions: vegetables, fish, meat. I did it on meat) - the time went to the countdown, that is, the set temperature was reached.
The first chebur floated in non-boiling (!) Oil for 5 minutes and remained white!
I dropped the Fry and turned on the multi-cook for the maximum temperature - 160.
And for another five minutes I watched the white chebur.
I spat on this business and hid the cartoon saucepan along with the tortured cheburek on the gas stove.
And the process started!
Two minutes and a golden cheburek lies on the dish!
After 30 minutes, 14 awesomely beautiful and tasty pasties were on two large plates.
For me personally, the question of deep fat on the cartoon is closed.
She has no power for deep-frying, no!
