Ingredients

radish 100 g
potatoes 200 g
dill bunch
parsley bundle
green onion 2 pcs
salt taste
oatmeal 1 tbsp. spoon
water 1 liter
sugar 1 tsp
yeast 1/2 tsp

Cooking method

  • Kvass: mix oatmeal, water, sugar, yeast. Put in a warm place for 6 hours.
  • Boil potatoes, cut into cubes. Peel the radish, grate on a fine grater. Chop the onion, chop the parsley and dill. Mix everything, salt, add kvass.

It turned out to be such a kvass. Not that it would be super tasty, but also not nasty, a little sour, with an oat flavor. You can cook okroshka on it, although bread kvass is more familiar to us. I want to remind you right away that I did it from oat flour, not oatmeal. From oatmeal, maybe it will differ for the better.

I didn't cook okroshka, because everyone was a little sick and coughing. So, hot soups are now better than cold ones.

And one more thing: I fried oatmeal in a pan, and then boiled water with flour and sugar (it was not brewed with jelly, there is just very little of it for this), when the water cooled to warm, added yeast. I read this method on the Internet.
