Apple pie without dough (multicooker Brand 701)

Ingredients

Flour 1 glass
Semolina 1 glass
Sugar 1 glass
Baking powder 1 sachet
Apples 5 pieces.
Butter (frozen) 60-70 gr.

Cooking method

  • A very simple cake. I tried it on a visit, they did it in the oven. Since I have tried both from the oven and from the multicooker, I will share my notes on the difference at the end.
  • Take flour, sugar, semolina and baking powder and just stir. Divide into 3 parts. Everything, the "dough" is ready.
  • The apples are either on a coarse grater (as I tried at a party), or cut into small cubes. On a grater, the juice gives out faster.
  • Now we collect.
  • Grease the bowl with butter, and those who are fasting - with sunflower.
  • Pour 1 part of our dry "dough", half of the apples on top. Then again "dough", apples and again "dough" on top. Sprinkle on top of everything with grated butter (and therefore frozen, to make it easier to rub). The recipe contained 100 grams, but there the form was 35 cm in diameter, 60-65 grams was enough for me. And whoever fasts or is a vegetarian can do without oil at all.
  • Baking program.
  • At first I put it on 55 minutes, but then I added 30 minutes. (why - in the note)
  • Allow to cool well so that the cake "grabs" and does not break.
  • All.

Note

About the difference between a pie from the oven and from a multicooker.

1. About the glass.
I took a regular glass as advised. And there were 7 apples. In my opinion, this is a lot. The pie has gathered almost to the top of the bowl. It seemed to me that after 55 minutes the top did not come. Therefore, I added another 30 minutes. And after these 30 minutes, it was clear that it was ready - the upper part of the apples became softer, and the pie as a whole became lower. Next time I'll try to take a multicooker and fewer apples.

2. About the time.
Due to the fact that the cake was almost under the edge of the bowl, I had to add time. I think that if you take a multi-cooker glass and less apples, then it will be ready in an hour, and if you take a large glass and more apples, then in 1.5 hours.

2. About the oil on top.
In the oven, a delicious crust formed on top of the pie, and the butter played a role here, and in our multicooker there is no top crust. However, the butter did melt, soaking the top of the dry "dough". It seems to me that in a slow cooker you need quite a bit of it.
P.S .: But in the comments they suggest that there are similar ones on the forum.

Yes please! I myself have a lot of interesting pastries in storerooms, but I am shy to exhibit. Because I have absolutely no idea if there is such a thing on the forum. After all, people give names to their recipes as God puts on their souls ...

Made the other day with grated apples.
I also changed the number of layers - 4 layers of "dough" and 3 layers of apples.

When I cut apples into pieces, I liked it more.
It seemed to me that here is a completely different taste, completely
Grated apples - lie in such a slightly heavy layer, melt quickly on the tongue, leaving only "dough" for the aftertaste
And in pieces - an indivisible taste or something
And it also seemed to me that when the pieces were soaked it was better, but when grated it felt like a splash with the whole mass, and not all the apples in the layer "gave their tenderness" (c)

Here
I won't do more with grated apples, I will be in pieces and two layers of apples

thanks for the original cake.
I decided to cook with a glass and weigh everything.
flour 100 gr
semolina 140 gr
sugar 140 gr (probably 150 would fit, but it ran out)
baking powder 5 g (also, all that was, but in general, in bags there are different weights, it would be better to write more precisely in the recipe)
apples 5 pcs. (average) peeled 724 g; peeled, coreless, diced 1cmx1cm 592g
butter 52 gr (all that was)

I decided to cook for the first time in the oven (it was interesting to look at the crust, maybe I already imagine baking in a slow cooker and it is so good)
180 degrees, in a hot oven, put in a rectangular shape for 45 minutes. when time passed - opened - on top everything is white-damp. added time. in the end, my pie stood for an hour and a half. maybe 1 hour 20 minutes would be enough.
chilled, maybe it was completely incomprehensible how to turn it over because it does not look very much like an ordinary cake - it does not feel solid. )))
in general, my husband liked it sooo much. the next day and I tasted it. indeed, an alternative to charlotte. the dried apple cubes are very interesting. the only thing is that it is flat. I got 2-3 cm in total.
I took a photo, but there is no time to throw it on the computer.
Thank you.

formochka, glad you liked

It is very quick and easy to make, however, it really takes longer than charlotte to bake. An hour and a half is at least necessary. From time to time I do it myself, when the guests are unexpected, and whip something too lazy.

The height depends on the layers. With such a dry "dough", the pie has nowhere to grow.

Excellent in fasting coma, since there are no eggs, and the top oil can be excluded from the recipe.
