I chose for my apartment: two rooms are separated by an entrance hall, bathroom and kitchen, laminate flooring in rooms, tiles in the kitchen. Of the carpets, only in the hallway is a tiny one under the front door.
He experimented with the robot (base) to place in the rooms; in one right at the exit, in the other in the farthest corner of the exit to the balcony.
I must say that the orientation is impeccable, it always returns to the base. But not infrequently, and "forgets" to clean up some places. But this is mainly from the lighting of the premises. Or it happens that he gets confused where, under the sofa, on the wires, and as soon as he breaks down, he already loses coordination, but in this case he gets to the base. But if you turn it off in another room, or just lift it from the floor, you may not find the base, "fall asleep" where you woke up.And it also happens, is lost under the curtains.
Actually, I chose this model only because of the wet cleaning function. God knows not what, just a microfiber cloth, which you yourself moisten and stick to a special attachment on the bottom, but this is enough. Especially with daily use. And you also have to hide that tiny rug from the robot when it gets stuck in the mop mode. And it also gets stuck on wires, slippers, in general, wherever it can get. And can climb very steep and high sills and objects. In this regard, the long pile of the carpet would not interfere with it simply in the vacuum cleaner mode.
But, behold, he manages to drive in so that the wheels hang in the air and that's it .. (Although there is also a function to turn off the overcoming of sills, but then he himself does not leave the room, I have sills everywhere)
And I also clean it every day. Somehow I didn't have to leave him alone on duty around the apartment.
But in principle, when someone or something does for you to help around the house, this is already enough to become attached to the assistant. And then there's such a .. successful ..
P.S. But my robot was also being repaired. It just so happened that in the first minutes after the purchase, I dropped it. Legono knocked, but the whole control board had to be changed. But we have both service and spare parts for these Koreans. I had to wait about a month with the board until it came from the manufacturer's factory. Such is the case .. But almost a year has passed, more without incident.
