all! Thanks to Sergey for his help in choosing. Friends took my Klepa today! This I so affectionately called Iclebo Arte. The decisive factor when choosing between Klepa and braava was the lack of a garbage reservoir at the latter. I can put it on a cloth myself. Will arrive on Friday!
Yes, more! Ordered from an authorized dealer. There is a service center.
I really hope that Klepa will meet my expectations.

:) I think that's all, I read forums on the internet, some disappointing conclusion comes after what I have read, the following about robots comes out:
problems with service in our country,
problems with consumables
Ent's technique is very capricious, it breaks down often, just like a lottery
For this reason, my husband and I decided to take the domestic sititek robo-sos LR-450. There are no problems with the workers, it copes quite tolerably.
Leshche
Can you help me choose? in the presence of 75m treshka, carpet only at the front door, laminate flooring, in the presence of several children and a non-fading (yes, that happens!) dog ... the budget is very limited.
Tatoshenka
Hello girls and boys. Yesterday my Braava came to me. I read the entire instructions, but I still didn't understand. Should it be on charge constantly like Rumba or not?
Vinochek
Tatoshenka, but tell me please, is there a dust collector? otherwise I read everywhere that he collects on a rag ...
and did you like how he washes the floors?
Tatoshenka
Vinochek, he has no dust collector. But I took it for wet cleaning. For dry I have Rumba, Scuba will not work, because almost everywhere there is laminate.
I have not tried it yet, I plan today. After the test drive I will write my opinion.
Medtech
Leshche, Nowadays, without budget voice acting, you can't pick up a robot at all .. it's worth looking in the direction of a used one, people buy, get disappointed and sell, and the robot just doesn't fit the apartment and the owner's expectations. Avito ..
Tatoshenka
Vinochek, Evgeniya, I forgot to unsubscribe about cleaning the floors. So he washes perfectly, the laminate is slightly damp. I would even say that this kid is smarter than a rumba, because there are no chaotic movements, everything is regular and planned. There are no missed sections. At the end of the harvest, it runs along the perimeter. Washes out all the corners. In general, I'm very happy with it. I didn’t dry cleaning them, to be honest, I don’t really imagine how he would collect everything that rumba collects on a rag. But for the sake of interest, someday I'll try
Vinochek
Tatoshenka,
Thank you. I did not take it precisely because of the lack of a dust collector. I also have a laminate and, apparently, I will have to take it for washing, since they say about Skuba that it spoils the laminate (((

More about my Klepa. I run it once (or even two) a day. There are enough rags for 20 square meters, BUT it collects debris and dust very well. In the hallway (apt. 6) he washes perfectly. there is a tile. I like that it cleans corners very well. Easy to clean.

Neato XV-21 withdrawal from Light green coma.
Medtech, good afternoon, please tell me how to get Neato XV-21 out of coma.
Medtech
It all depends on the model and board revision.
There are several techniques:
Try the 1st method.
For Cruz series (REV113) And_net.
1 - Click on the "back" button (looks like a curved arrow above the Start button)
2 - When pressing the back button, also press the start button and hold it until the robot reboots, + -10 seconds.
For Binky Series (REV64)
1 - Press in the front left corner of the bumper. The bumper should be pushed towards the center of the robot, not just back.
2 - When pressing the bumper, press the start button and hold it down until the robot reboots, + -30 seconds.
Note from me: for my robot it was not 30 seconds, but 10. As soon as the indicator goes out, release everything and after a few seconds press the red button and it turns on as if nothing had happened. iliya555
If the 2nd method does not help HerzNovy
Try the americos recipe. It helped someone ...

Enough with my problem, here is how I solved it
- get a mini USB to normal USB cable
- connect the USB cable to your laptop,
- power up your laptop
- pick open the rubber seal on Neato's USB port
- connect the mini USB plug to the Neato
- Ensure Neato's battery power switch (remove dust bin to locate this switch) is set to 1 (ON) position
- Wait for laptop to recognize Neato as new device (USB com port ??)
- Neato / LCD should start by itself as soon as Windows finished detecting h / w. If not, try press and hold the big round button for 15 sec to reset it. If at this point your Neato's LCD still won't start, try muck around with the round button, or the power switch inside Neato. or swap position of both batteries.
- Once the LCD starts, Neato is now back to NORMAL MODE with low battery warning
- Navigate the 'support' menu, find the 'New Battery' option, select it
- Neato thanks you
- return back to home screen, Neato now start charging.
Maybe someone will suit the 3rd method iliya555
The robot fell into a coma (while it was charging), and as you know, in a coma, it does not become infected. After about a week, I took the robot away from my parents and started working on it.
When moving the robot away from charging, the "pale green" went out and did not respond to actions, I decided to remove the batteries and measure the voltage on the assemblies. The voltage on one assembly was 0.96V, on the other 0.88V - this is the end of the batteries.
I charged them with 12V 1.2A for 10 minutes and stuck them back into the robot. It turned on and asked for charging, I chose "new batteries" from the menu and left it to charge overnight.
Surprisingly, the batteries have not yet lost their capacity - they have worked as much as before.
I know that these are only temporary actions to return from a coma.
Penultimate 4th way @ leks
1. Connect to the turned off computer via USB,
2. Put the charger on the back (it will not respond to it)
3. Turn on the computer. when new equipment is found, the beast will blink and pick up the charging from the charger!
4. Upgrade to the new version and if it does not help - solve the repair issue - I recommend Medtech
Last 5th way @leks
I want to officially thank Medtech, and for help in expelling the coma from my animal!
Thanks again for your help !!!!!!

MedtechThank you very much, I used the method - I took the charger from the phone with mini USB, inserted it into the neato and the outlet, pressed and held the power button for 10s - and lo and behold she came to life (she - as a family member and she has the name Nyusha). I also realized that it is necessary to do shutdown from time to time, since only during shutdown all memory is erased, maybe I'm wrong - I'll test it. I will definitely save all your recommendations as ways to revive our Nyusha. Thanks again.
Medtech
ne_al, in this way, you can revive the robot for six months, after which it will wake up less and less, since the process is avalanche, in the end it is still on the operating table. It is worth sometimes putting a new battery in the settings, the shutdown does not clear the memory of the battery capacity, if you read the FAQ, you can find the robot control program, there is a way to swing the batteries when they have lost their capacity. To date, the only way to finally cure the pale green one is for me, see you.
Nadin 1976
Medtech, tell me, plz, what budget version of the robot you would recommend based on your experience.
How do you like the early neato models, which are without side brushes or is it a strong "yesterday"?
Medtech
Nadin 1976,
To advise you on a robot, you need to know the area of the room, the number of rooms, the presence of thresholds and their height, the composition of the coatings, the presence of animals, long-haired with hair longer than 15 cm, who will serve the robot and estimate your budget.
Nito is a good option, but without the parameters of an apartment, it's a finger to the sky.
shlyk_81
Sergei, help with a choice, please. Treshka 75 sq. Floor linoleum, 3 carpets, clean room by room. There are no animals, there are 3 long-haired young ladies. Rumba 531 is available, but cleaning it takes me a lot of time (especially the turbo brush), I want something more convenient in terms of maintenance. I am looking at aiklebo art, but I will consider other options up to 30 thousand. I also found such a vacuum cleaner SITITEK Robo-sos X500 Robot Vacuum Cleaner (it has no brushes at all), but there are absolutely no reviews on it on the Internet.
Medtech
shlyk_81, you can upgrade your rumba by buying it a universal brush module from version 7 and an Aerovak trash can from series 6 and cleaning problems will immediately decrease. Carpets, long hair are 8xx rumba, Neato, Botvak, but if you are satisfied with room-by-room cleaning, then any Chinese without a turbo brush will do, but carpets are too tough for them.
Tell us why you are cleaning one by one? and only reels long hair?
Klebo, long hair and carpets are poorly compatible, although sellers convince the opposite or bypass this complexity.

I found a trash can, but there is no specific module for the seventh version. Here's what the website offers: Cleaning module with brushes for the 500, 600, 700 series
Article: 21917 Price: 1600 rub.
That is, there will be the same brushes as mine? Or do you need some other article?
I have a simple model, so I clean up by the room. The quality of cleaning used to suit me 100%, now it's worse. My rumbic is 2.5 years old, but I only clean the brushes and the dust collector, I vacuumed it several times, but, probably, he needs a deeper cleaning. And I'm afraid to disassemble it. On neato, like spare parts in the daytime with fire you will not find, 8 series is still very expensive, and the Chinese, I realized, will not suit me because of the carpets. I'll go and take another look. Which model is better?
Medtech
shlyk_81,
the cleaning module is now universal, it stands on version 7 and is suitable for 5 and 6. I do not know which ones you have, since there were a lot of red green blue modules, they were all slightly different, now they are selling gray, the difference with the previous ones is very large, hair do not cram into a gearbox, it is easier to clean, but long hair will still wrap, but less. Anyway, they now differ in the set of filters and brushes that can be purchased at retail on Ebey or Ali

For a long time I was going to lay out the results of the experiment.

For 28 days in my apartment: 49m2, two rooms, one carpet 1.5x2m, one cat of the noble breed, two living, one is at home almost all the time, there is not a lot of furniture, robots work every day.
Other Robot Vacuum Cleaners
Neato XV-21, 30 grams of trash.

Other Robot Vacuum Cleaners
Roomba 6xx Series, 36 grams of trash.

The experiment lasted almost two months, every day the garbage was put into a container and weighed. It should be repeated for the purity of the experiment, because when I removed the rumba, the cat began to be given vitamins and subjectively less wool from it, but in the end Rumba was 6 grams ahead of Neato, apparently the uncleaned narrow strip along the baseboard affected.
At the end of the experiment, after the last cleaning of the subject, a rival robot was launched, each one collecting 1 gram of garbage one after another.

I bought a Panda X500. Questions arose immediately. After a full charge for 12 hours, we launched our assistant. Having driven a little chaotically, never straight, and cutting circles, the robot issued an error E01 (the left wheel does not work). Rebooted, it didn't help. Trains a little chaotically and again gives error E01. There is no dirt on the wheel, that is, nothing prevents him from driving. When working from the control panel, it does not drive directly. Who faced this?
Have you dealt with the problem ??? Or maybe someone else had the same thing ??
Medtech
Lena ya, such problems happen to many users, your left wheel drive does not work, there may be several problems, even a banal break in the wire going to the wheel module. It is necessary to disassemble the robot and find out the problem, it is enough to swap the wheel connectors - to transfer the left to the right to make sure that the wheel or the board does not work.
Lena ya
Medtech,
have already disassembled, it turned out that the fastening of the wheel has broken .. now we will call the support service ..
Medtech
Lena ya, I'm afraid that you will be sent for spare parts on aliexpress, if you bought directly from China - they can send a wheel module, there have been such cases.

Good day to all.
All Neato-waters who encountered the "Pale green coma" - have found the cause and have already restored several robots. We would like to express our deepest gratitude: heXor - for finding the problem, arkb - for the first tests.
You can read the FAQ ( 🔗) paragraph 39

And again about the pale green coma ...
Looks like I cured my XV-21. I share my experience, maybe I can help someone too.

First of all, thanks to heXor for the original idea.
🔗

I came across this post with
🔗
and this information allowed me to revive my animal.

Also, I apologize to Medtech in case I disclose its trade secret.
So, to the point.

Short version for those in the know:
The replacement of the capacitor C10 (100uF 25V) with 220uF 35 V helped (I put in what was lying around at hand).

Full version:
A couple of months ago, my XV-21 refused to continue working. The symptoms were as follows:
The batteries were not charged.
The indicator was green when the vacuum cleaner was parked at the base.
The indicator goes out when the device is removed from the base.
The display showed nothing.
If you hold down the orange button for more than 5-7 seconds, the display "flinched", slightly changed the brightness, and a quiet whistle was heard. The indicator went out, but after a few seconds it turned green again.
In general, the classic symptoms of a popular disease.

After reading this forum, I found that after connecting the USB charging (I used the native iPad charger) and holding the orange button for 5-7 seconds, the display came to life and complained about problems with the batteries (I had already pulled them out by that time). This gave hope. By the way, for those who decide to repeat my path, I advise you not to skip this step, since there can be more than one cause of coma.

In the next step, I completely unrolled the vacuum cleaner, pulled out the main board, display and back wall with power contacts and then played only with them.

To test the theory that the 3.3V supply is the problem, I soldered a large electrolyte in parallel to C10 (bottom of the board). It seems to have been 470uF. I connected it to the base and - lo and behold! - the display is working without the help of USB charging.

Further - a matter of technology. I tore out my native C10, found another electrolyte with a larger capacity of suitable sizes at hand. It turned out to be 220uF, 35 V - 1.5-2 times larger in diameter, I had to bend the legs, but I fit without any problems.

At the moment, two cleaning / charging cycles have passed, no problems have been noticed.

I added 5 pictures with information about my device, the location of the capacitor and the final version of my solution to the problem.
I hope my experience will help someone.

Everything is quite simple and described in detail, almost everyone can do this, if there are difficulties or there is no desire to repair the robot yourself, contact the specialists

if there are any difficulties or there is no desire to repair the robot yourself, contact the specialists
This is for sure, if you held the soldering iron "300 years ago" or did not hold it at all, then it is better to contact a specialist (it will be cheaper for you than buying a new robot or a board), by the way Medtech already restored many robots and not only Neato.
No one forbids you to refer to the repairmen and ask to re-solder one capacitor purchased in advance or they will find their own.

PS. HerzNovy advises: "... it would be necessary to choose a replacement electrolyte from the low-ESR series of famous manufacturers or a polymer capacitor."
Medtech
Finally, we got around to measuring the vacuum level of the iClebo Arte. The robot has the lowest maximum vacuum vacuum, only 9 mm, in reality the level is less than it can be changed in the service menu, the optimal level is considered to be from 60 to 80 conventional units, which corresponds to a vacuum of 5-8 mm H2O.
But this does not in the least prevent the robot from removing garbage well, as long as the scraper / scoop touches the floor.
The picture shows full-scale measurements of vacuum in mm of different robots that have visited me.

I want to warn you about purchases on Ebey again, they brought another Neato XV-21, the lidar / laser does not work, only you can hear what is spinning, they told me through a friend, because the owner lives in the far suburbs, so I don’t know the background, I just bought it on Ebey and apparently sending back became a problem.
The robot is zero, it has never worked, now it works, but the cost of the robot has increased by the cost of repairs and my warranty, of course I feel good, but now there is no joy from such a purchase from the owner.
It is worth assessing the risks of buying without a guarantee.

Medtech, Sergei! Good day! I ask for your advice. You need to buy two vacuum cleaners for two different apartments (yourself and your children).
First apartment: 3-room apartment, area more than 100 sq. m. Parquet + tiles in the hallway, in the kitchen and in the bathrooms (no thresholds). There is a carpet in one of the rooms (I cannot remove it, as an elderly person lives).
Second apartment: 3-room apartment, area ~ 85 sq. m, laminate + tiles in the hallway and bathroom (no thresholds). There are no carpets, but there are two cats (although there is a small lint-free carpet for them, but it can be removed if desired).
I would like to choose a price-quality option, but no frills (but this does not mean that it is completely budgetary). Just for day-to-day dust collection and to facilitate general cleaning work.
If you can help with advice, I will be very grateful to you! Thank you.

Specify for which advice you need more, I do not discuss more than one apartment in the forum

Medtech, look at the one on the right!

And I ... less than a year later, a problem with the battery was discovered (Samsung Navibot Silencio). If before a full charge was enough for 45-50 minutes of continuous cleaning, now only for 10 minutes. The husband pulled out the battery, completely discharged it and charged it (with a charger, just don't ask what it's called). After that, the vacuum cleaner ran around the house for about 30 minutes, then asked for parking, showing that the battery was already discharged. Then the most interesting thing was revealed. It turned out that if the vacuum cleaner is on the base all the time, then the battery continues to charge it constantly (!), As a result of which the batteries become warm, that is, the process of charging them does not stop for a minute.
Now, in order to somehow solve this problem, we act as follows: after the vacuum cleaner asks for recharging, let it fully charge, turn it off with the button on the "belly". The next day we turn it on, let it stand at the base for about 10 minutes. After the signal that the battery is fully charged, we start it for cleaning. It seems that this problem can be completely solved only by replacing the batteries with new ones and turning off the vacuum cleaner every time it is charged. That is, using a vacuum cleaner by programming it for independent daily cleaning will no longer work.
Medtech
Sonadora Unfortunately, metal hydride batteries have a limited number of discharge charges, and as a result, your battery should be replaced. We have not yet made available batteries that can work for 5-10 years and the real long life of the metal hydride is about 3 years. Whether you keep the robot on the base or not, you will be tricky, but once every 2-3 years the battery will have to be changed. Batteries are consumables like brushes and filters, and the robot itself will not be able to work forever, after 10 years the plastic of which the robot is made will become fragile and the robot will begin to crack, the silicone materials will soften and become jelly-like, something will not last forever under the moon.
And what is better: charge the battery with an external charger, follow special algorithms, or just replace the battery, it's up to you, which is cheaper for you, and you will do it: +))

Nikollete, Alenka212, Meatballs, Good day! I saw that you are using the Aiklebo Arte robot vacuum cleaner. And now I am looking for a suitable robot for me. In the characteristics on Aiklebo it is stated that its height is 8.5 cm.And one of the consultants in the online store said that its height at the maximum point is 9.1 cm.For me, this size is critical, since the distance between the floor and the bed is 8.9 see If it is possible to give the exact size of its height at the max point, I will be very grateful to you. Thank you

Medtech, Sergei, please tell me, is the warranty period for batteries?
Medtech
Quote: elenvass
Does the warranty period cover batteries?
Naturally, but usually it is negotiated separately, for metal hydride no more than 6 months, for lithium no more than a year, but if the decrease in the robot's work is not very noticeable, most likely they will refuse to replace it under warranty, but as elsewhere, persistence and self-righteousness moves mountains.
Medtech
Quote: Esvt
For me, this size is critical, since the distance between the floor and the bed is 8.9 cm
You should not select a robot for the size of the bed, the robot must pass into such places with a gap of at least 1 cm, if the height of your bed is on the edge, you should put the bed on spacers or on new legs and the height of the robot will not be a limitation.
My copy of Arte has a height of 8.9 cm at the highest point, it may well drive in and it will not be able to drive out and get stuck. If you put a microfiber platform on the robot, you will get 9.1-9.2 cm.
An 8.5 cm high robot in the area of the trash can, each measures in his own way and since it is profitable for him, the latter usually pays.

Today I went to change the battery on a Neato XV-21 for a very elderly couple, both for 80 in appearance, they tell what they gave their daughter, showed how to clean, what to clean, where to look after it because it is very dirty, the brush is clamped, they have had it for three years , a lot of furniture, kopeck piece.
They use it actively every day, they say that it is very convenient, the grandfather wanted to update the firmware, the grandson suggested it to him, but I dissuaded, do not touch it, especially since there was nothing with you except for batteries and a screwdriver.
A very touching and a bit sad picture.

I would be very grateful for your help in choosing a robot. The area is 120 square meters, the floors are tiles and laminate, there is a small carpet in one room and a rug in front of the door, but if the robot cannot clean them, it's not scary, I can vacuum them myself. There are no animals, no rapids. There is hair 30 centimeters long. There is no one to serve, the budget is about 20 tons. I planned to buy Aiklebo arte even in the fall, but the purchase was postponed until the winter, and in the winter the price was already too expensive ..
Medtech
Marissa, so buy iKlebo, used is full on Avito, you only need to find out the serial number from the seller and check the robot for dullness, so that there are no problems with subsequent maintenance, for example here: 🔗 since due to the policy of Eugene Robot, white robots are repaired almost free of charge, only spare parts are paid for, and gray robots are repaired like any other equipment.
Marissa
MedtechI don't want to buy, you never know what's wrong with it ... So far I stopped at the following models: Panda X500 Pet Series, iClebo Pop, Roomba 631. Which one is better to choose from?
