8veleri8Try to bake without milk, it may contain hormones and antibiotics that suppress yeast, and you don't have enough of them in your recipe, I would safely put 1.5 tsp. And it is better to weigh flour with scales, this is where most of the mistakes lie.
8veleri8
sazalexter, I understand everything, but the problem is that it didn't work out 2 or 3 times. And in 2 months I have already tried them 20 times! )) Milk and shop were also homemade at different aunts, and the yeast was different, and flour, oh, well, in general, I already wrote .. Well, I'll go and try again. If not, we'll take you to repair
sazalexter
8veleri8, Try baking without milk.
vernisag
Yeah, and it is necessary to use scales, I couldn't do anything without weights
And it is better to simply pour yeast on top of the flour, without diluting it in liquid.
Natasha_S
vernisag, in my bread maker I get bread from 400 - 420 g of flour. But I throw in 4g of dry yeast
Anchik
Hello dear bakers! I bought myself a stove Gorenie VM900, read the instructions, and it says that before the first operation, you need to coat the bowl with oil inside and into the oven for 10 minutes. And somehow it became scary to me, whether its inner coating will burn out after that, will it crack ???
Who did this, tell me, how, on what mode and was everything all right afterwards?
vernisag
I didn’t do anything like that (in any of my ovens) I just washed the bucket and immediately put the bread to bake.
Is there such a thing in the instructions? Either I did not read well, or it was not there then
Well, wash it, wipe it with oil, warm it up a little, maybe it's really good for covering, it's not in vain that they write. With a Teflon coating, nothing will happen in 10 minutes.
Anchik
well, yes, there is the first operation of the device in the separator))))
thanks for the answer, probably all the same I will not risk it, just wash it and start tomorrow)))
vernisag
Anchik, well, at least just wipe it with oil, in this stove the coating is so-so, maybe it will last longer.
Use fine salt for the stove, the usual scratches the coating.
Anchik
Thanks, I didn't know about salt. Before that, I had LG, the coating lasted for 3 years somewhere like a pretty little one, and then it peeled off overnight
vernisag
Scratches quickly appeared on my ribs, as if they had scraped off with a knife ...
Anchik
maybe it's true for this they write about oil and write to the stove ...
Masinen
Anchik, in my Gorenye also wrote that 10 minutes it is necessary to ignite the stove from the factory grease. I did so)
Anchik
Everything was fine? Thank you)))
Masinen
Yes, it smelled of grease and that's it))
Lubricate with oil, it is always advised to lubricate the first time you use it.

Hello! I have a bread maker Burning -900, in general for 900 gr. baking. I am very pleased with her. I bake only whole grain flour and bran, and I also add seeds or raisins. The pastries are very healthy. All recipes from this site are taken.
BUT THE TOP FREQUENTLY FAILS = (((Not beautiful, but the bread is baked wonderfully!
I follow the kolobok, but the top is not always beautiful. From what? Maybe someone will tell their experienced bakers.

Too much water (liquid) or yeast, try to make the bun a little denser, add a little flour.

Hello everyone!

I ask experienced bakers and bread makers to tell me in what mode I need (and should I at all) ignite the new BM900W oven? Since in the translation instruction it is only recommended to grease the mold with oil and put it in the oven for 10 minutes ?!
And why do various recipes for ordinary wheat bread mention either vegetable or butter? That is, such options are possible ?!

Thanks in advance to everyone who answered, for sure there will be more questions from me, since I am just starting to master bread and roll baking!
vernisag
Place baked goods on the program and heat for 10 minutes.
I like to add a spoonful of vegetable (mustard) and a spoonful of butter to the dough, it tastes better for me. The dough turns out better.
Frogg
baking - does it mean BASIC? and after 10 minutes it can be forcibly canceled with the "stop" button ?!
Do you add oils to the finished bun, or before kneading?
vernisag
Yeah
Frogg
ok, then lubricate it from the inside with rast. oil - and on BASIC - boom tomorrow morning to start!
vernisag
Baking, this is the last program.
Congratulations on your new bread maker!
Keep in mind that you won't get bread more than 350-400 grams of flour, the bucket is very small.

yeah, got it, the 12th Bake program. And the maximum amount of flour is 400 g - based on this, I will reduce all the other components from the recipes, ATP.
Now I'm going to look for proven recipes, because according to the books, as they write everywhere, there is no need to do it - the time will only be translated ...

Thanks for the advice! And according to the first link from the Guru, I have already looked through all the pages - unfortunately, there is nothing specifically about the BM900W model - rare, is that something ?! And whether recipes for stoves of other combustion models are applicable to it - I do not know yet .......
vernisag

Of course, all stoves work in about the same way. Only in this oven there is no whole grain and rye bread program.

Quality of dough and finished bread does not depend on the model x / stove
If you master the principle of kneading dough and baking bread, gingerbread man, flour-liquid balance, etc. ..... bread will be obtained anytime, anywhere

So, go to the topics on the links above and very carefully, with pen and paper, study all the principles, and bake bread.
If you wish, everything will work out, guaranteed! You are not the first to come to the forum with such an opinion

And here's an example for you

Oooh how I already have the fourth stove in a row and I can confidently assert this. Even the smell of bread from each stove is different, not to mention the crust, crust and taste.

how many people, so many opinions, that's right. I will try, learn, ask if I don’t find anything in the forum.

Ira, I mean that the principle of making bread is practically the same for everyone, and you can take recipes from the forum for any oven and adapt it to your own. There are no separate recipes for each model of x / stove, and the ingredients are the same for everyone - flour, water, salt, sugar, yeast - everything !!

And I agree that bread makers bake in different ways - yes!

This of course totally agree

But the bread for the same recipe is different
Frogg
Thank you all for your good advice - the first bread came out successful (recipe "milk"), and easily fell out of the mold, which was still oily after the first firing due to the start of operation.
In this connection, I have the following question: is it necessary to grease the rast form before baking. oil, or not, because on the forums opinions on this matter are contradictory ?!
Admin

If the inside of the bucket is black-Teflon, then you do not need to lubricate it, the bread is great and pops out by itself.
Frogg
yeah, just that, ATP .. I also read on one of the forums that it is recommended for some reason to turn off the stove from the outlet every time - should it or not ?!
vernisag

I use multicooker every day and more than once, two are constantly in the kitchen and plugged into a power outlet, but they have an electronic clock. And I generally put the stoves in the closet as it cools.
It is probably better to turn it off, even if it will be stationary in the kitchen.

I bought myself this miracle, I want to share the first result, I hope it will come in handy for beginners like me.

Baking in Gorenje BW900W Baking in Gorenje BW900W

Baking in Gorenje BW900W

To begin with, I wiped the freshly bought miracle with a damp cloth, greased the mold and the stirrer with olive oil, and calcined for 10 minutes. according to the instructions for program 12 (Baking) - it did not smell criminal, then rubbed it again, washed the mold in warm water with dishwashing detergent and rinsed thoroughly.
Then I took the recipe of Dear vernisag (special thanks to her!)

Milk bread

flour - 350 gr.
milk - 250 ml.
sl. oil - 20 gr.
sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
salt - 3/4 tsp.
yeast - 1 tsp
(saf moment)

I measured all weights and volumes with an accuracy of a gram and a milliliter (electronic scales, a tested measuring cup, used a measure from the HP kit as spoons). Sifted flour.
I put the ingredients in the order of the corresponding instructions.
Put 1 (Main) program, weight 750 g, crust - dark.
The gingerbread man was like in the topic about the gingerbread man, well .. in my noob opinion, at least.
Baked for 2 hours 53 minutes.
It turned out quite, the crust is what I like (not too dark and crispy), the pulp is elastic and tender, the taste is excellent.

Thanks for attention!

Hello again!
Took the second recipe of Dear vernisag (the second separate thanks to her!)

White bread:
flour - 350 gr.
water - 180 ml.
slab oil - 20 gr.
olive oil. - 1 tbsp. l.
salt - 3/4 tsp.
sugar - 1.5 tsp.
yeast - 1 hour l. Saf-Moment

And again everything worked out great. The only thing, it seemed to me a little bit tight bun, I added 1 tbsp. l. water.
Thanks for attention!

It depends on flour, or rather on humidity. Flour is always different, now heating and flour is dry. When kneading, it is better to pour out not all the flour at once, leave a little (a couple of spoons) and add a bun if necessary. After all, it is easier to add flour to the dough than liquid.
I'm glad you liked the bread. I like white bread on water with the addition of butter more. Only vegetable I prefer mustard.
Where is photo?
Stas77
vernisagBut for sure, it's easier to add flour, such subtleties only come with experience. Thank you!
It is necessary, I think, in general to buy different oils to try - mustard, sesame, peanut, etc. Choose your own for each recipe.

And the photo ... Yesterday was the old new year, so there is no photo ... sorry.

Good day!

Finally, we bought a bread maker. The vernisag recipe for dairy bread is amazing!

I bake the usual white for every day according to the recipe - Very soft white bread (the recipe is taken from this forum, the link cannot be placed).
The bread is amazing. And crumb and crust and tip.

Problems appeared when trying to bake Borodino bread. (rises very badly, flat). And I still really can't understand in what mode of the bread machine to bake it ...
And when trying to bake a whole grain, the top dropped when lifting.

Can any of the stove owners have proven suitable recipes? I will be very grateful!
