I have a 600 W Bosch. I twist the meat with might and main, while I have not noticed any difficulties. I didn't try to twist it with bones. I have no idea who might need it.

Yes, there were such people, they wanted to find a harvester that would turn meat with cartilage and bones.

And I blindly managed to spoil the plastic on my bowl 47, although no one is insured from this, now my bowl is disabled, at any moment it can break. I got burned and now I think that a stainless steel bowl without plastic inserts, as in my case, is an excellent solution

In the 4 series models on a stainless bowl, if I'm not mistaken, there is a plastic bottom with which this bowl is attached to the combine. In the 5th series, the whole bowl is made of metal, without plastic elements.

I am also looking for an assistant .. I had a Bosch MSM for 2150 years. 8. When kneading a tough dough, something smelled and then ordered to live a long time. The household appliances repair shop did not even bother with such a trifle. I wanted to throw it away, but my husband gave it to a neighbor in the country and he made it. Well, you can't take it back. Now I looked after the Bosch MUM 54251. An expensive toy, and I don't need all the attachments. For example, a blender is not needed (there is a submersible) and is not needed, just as strangely the "cubes" attachment (there is a mechanical grater for cutting into cubes), which obviously increases the cost of the unit. But you definitely need graters, shredders, a meat grinder, dough mixers and more power. Probably, according to my criteria, there is nothing. Maybe you can advise.
P.S. Yesterday I was in M-Video, watched 54251 and a grater "cubes". Not impressed, a small area of cubes and one size of cells. ... I have 2 times more and 2 cell sizes on my mechanics.

How do you like the Bosch MultiTalent MCM 62020 and 68885? Power is what you need, but again there is no meat grinder, although with such force and pressing, the minced meat will be cooked. Who has experience with him?

Instead of a multi-mixer attachment, I bought a Philips 7605 combine. The price is lower, and the discs are different, medium-sized, which are just not enough in Bosch MUM. The power is only 350 W, while the minced meat is excellent.

You are welcome. And if you don't have a hand blender, you can buy the Brown 550. It ideally complements the Bosch MUM combines. Because, firstly, it has bowls with universal knives (large and small), secondly, the graters are not the same as in BOSCH, and thirdly, there is a blender leg. It is often more convenient than a stationary mixer, which is present in the combine.

Olchacha
Good morning!

I have been visiting your site for a long time as a "guest", but today I have already registered, as I understood
that they can help me only here

The fact is that I have long dreamed of a combine, before that I used it, Moulinex - ADG 541 with a bowl of 1.5 liters, they gave it to me as unnecessary. Before that, I did not have a harvester, I made soups with the help of the Ros mixer :-) After I started using mulinex, I realized what a great thing a Normal harvester is. Moulinex was not bad for everyone, but a glass of milk with a slice of banana and ice cream - this was already too much for its volume - everything poured over the top, and all the other inconveniences associated with a small bowl.
I apologize for such a long introduction, the point is this:

Philips hr 7778/00 was bought on Monday
, I wanted a food processor for the next - grate-grind (we don't have a meat grinder), make cocktails, smoothies, sauces, pancake dough, sometimes muffins, sometimes cookies, in the future, pies. Until the moment of receiving the parcel, my heart jumped out of joy.
When they brought it, unpacked it, put it on the table, it seemed to me that it was TOO big! The young man and I live together, I cook food in small portions - not in the sense of eating at once, but in the sense of so much. how much you need for two, taking into account to eat a couple of times. And now. when I look into the depths of the bowl, it seems to me that I got excited. I begin to regret and think about changing for some fancy blender.

You are all enviable hostesses here, tell me, please, am I swinging too much? I read on the internet that it is bad to handle a small amount of ingredients in a large bowl, explain what can already be considered a "big" bowl ?! I was not too lazy to wash the moulinex after rubbing one carrot, but now I look at the harvester and think that they probably talk about this, which is better on a grater. And, maybe someone uses such a device and will advise something sensible, or just share your impressions of the operation.

Thank you in advance!

Once again I apologize for the large text, I was upset
makabusha
I will not answer all the questions .. but about one carrot and small portions of food I will say this. It is most convenient to take 5-6 carrots at once and immediately grate them in the size you need (your running one) on a combine .. then put the grated carrots (you don't need to ram too much) into a bag and into the freezer. And then you decided to cook the soup .. take out a bag and easily cut off the desired piece of frozen carrot with a knife .. put it in a frying pan .. it will instantly melt and like fresh. Likewise, rub and beets. Someone told about the bow. With a utility knife, I chop meat, knead some types of dough (not liquid), lightly, so that in large chunks I grind berries with sugar (and then into a palstic bottle and freezer for the winter) - sometimes even a small bowl comes out for me.
The only thing for which I personally think the bowl is large is if you need to beat 1-2 eggs or make mayonnaise. To do this, I keep a very inexpensive hand blender with a leg and a whisk.
Alenky
: flowers: I totally agree with Natasha! I do not know which bowl is big I have a bosh there 3.9 liters I'm fine and beat 2 eggs and dough if necessary! As for vegetables, Natasha is right, thank you for the tip! now I will also put it in the freezer and the truth is so more convenient!
Lozja
Olchacha, you can easily do something a little in a large bowl, but you can't do a lot at a time in a small bowl. Therefore, do not be upset, enjoy your purchase. You are intimidated by the size, most likely due to the comparison with the previous device. I'm sure if this was your first combine, you wouldn't bother at all.
Oca
Olchach, and why the cup is too big? There are two of us too, but now a second harvester has appeared, Boshik again, and I can barely have enough of them. Yesterday I chopped cabbage in one, zucchini in another, and there was nowhere to knead the minced meat

Blimey! two combines!

LiudmiLka
Olchacha, in my opinion, is a good harvester and not at all that big - just what you need.
kosmar
I have a Bosch cube and a Phillips like yours with a large bowl, I use each of the combines for different purposes, I don't see any problems in size. for example, today I cooked cabbage soup: I cut the onion with my hands, the carrot from the freezer (I rub and freeze a lot at once), and the cabbage on the phillips with a nozzle that changes the thickness of the sliced slices. so the whole middle forks fit the whole (it was not necessary to put out of the bowl several times).
or dough, for example, for the "cow burenka" pie (from Yana from a multicooker), there the components are laid in parts, and I immediately fall asleep (two parts, of course, dough at once, then cottage cheese), and the resulting dough is kneaded, like plasticine, to my hands sticks, do what you want.
no, I often use Phillips with a large bowl than Bosch and I like everything
Olchach
how good you are here!

I'm like in that movie: "How to live, Baba Shur? How to live ?! Well, I don't know anything!"

and I already wanted a cube cutter
so I understand. you still need a blender, right? not a single combine.
kosmar, like a balm for the soul :-) the box is still across the corridor

Philips is a good harvester! It now seems big, and then there will be a "little kingdom" There are food processors with a blender: in some it is placed instead of the main bowl, in others it is inserted into the body next to it, in others the "motor" is removed from the apparatus and attached to the desired attachment.

Today I was kneading the dough into cheesecakes (about 750g), it doesn't work ... It twists, but doesn't knead. Before that I tried to knead 300g on pizza - the same garbage. In Boch, everything is wound on a nozzle with dough hooks and spins in place. Is it the same for you? With universal knives, the situation is better, but far from ideal. I would not bother if a bread machine could make a dough for 1 pizza from 200g of flour. How to be?

Hello everyone. Join the ranks of the doubters I join the question about Bosch MultiTalent MCM 62020 and 68885 !!! The roof left to choose. Mumas didn't want something. In Moldova, I found Mum, 4875, relatively suitable in terms of money and functionality, but its price is a penny like MultiTalent MCM 68885.

Difference: MUM does not cut into cubes, less powerful, in my opinion it takes up more space.
MSM has another version Bosch MCM-64085 also cuts into cubes, and a little cheaper.

Well, at least someone please answer who has such happiness!

Hello dear cooks and cooks. Good bread to you, tasty meat to you ... and so on!
I have been present at the forum for a long time, but I am writing for the first time, somehow before that there was enough information to read, but there is simply nothing to help me, a culinary specialist, such a guru like here. In general, I would continue to be modestly silent, if not for the agony of choice. I looked through the whole topic diagonally, but I could not decide. What I need from the combine:
1. Compactness, since the kitchen is small, there is very little space on the work surface.
2.The meat grinder is good to grind, including films !!!!!
3. Mixer (dough for dumplings, pancakes, biscuits, cream ...)
4. Shredder - the more varied the shredder, the better
5. A blender is needed. It's good if you can grind pepper in it, for example
6. No juicer needed
What I look at and suffer:
1. Bosch MUM 4856 and Bosch MUM 52131 - they have the same completeness in principle, only the power of 600 and 700 W differs, respectively. I'm afraid it won't pull 600 watts into a meat grinder. In both models there is no possibility of cutting into cubes, but the price is such that if I order the attachment separately, I will meet the budget. By the way, the same nozzle is suitable for 4 mum as for the 5th one?
2. Bosch MUM 54251 Power 900 with a meat grinder seems to be all right, but it is also expensive with a juicer - paying for what I will not use, and that will take up space in the closet (which is not already there), somehow not I want to. Nobody dreams of a juicer? Write, who wishes, we can do it!
3. Moulinex QA 407G31 I liked everything, including the power of 900 watts. But I didn't find any reviews. Maybe someone has such a machine? How does her meat grinder work? Can you find additional attachments for it (for cutting into cubes, for example)? Maybe there is a model with a complete set without a juicer?
Thank you so much if you find time for me!
Daffi
2. The meat grinder is good for grinding, including films !!!!!
The meat grinder in BOSCH MUM is not bad, but it does not grind films, cartilage and bones.
3. Mixer (dough for dumplings, pancakes, biscuits, cream ...)
Biscuit, shortbread, muffin dough, creams - all this BOSH MUM can do, but it can handle thick yeast and dumplings, but with difficulty.
4. Shredder - the more varied the shredder, the better.
In BOSH MUM there are 3 discs with 5 types of slicing + discs for French fries, Korean carrots, potato pancakes, as well as a medium grater / shredder are sold separately.
5. A blender is needed. It's good if you can grind pepper in it, for example.
A stationary blender is included, but it is designed for mixing and whipping liquids. The best way to grind peppers is to buy a hand grinder or an electric coffee grinder.

The dicing attachment is intended only for BOSH MUM 5 series, for 4 it is not suitable, please note this.

It is strange how many read the reviews write that the meat turns quite well. I see you have a mum 4. Maybe 5 will cope, will it still be higher power? I'm not going to grind bones and cartilage, but films, yes, from them the very taste.

Question to the owners of the MUZ4 meat grinders: can you please tell me what is the diameter of the disc (grille) of this model?

I ordered a MUZ4FW3 meat grinder by mail and I came across a bunch of attachments from MUZ7 separately: a grater, a cookie press, a pasta press, additional discs with holes of 2 and 6 mm. Now I'm wondering if the attachments fit the meat grinder ...

And yet - does anyone need a MUZ7AD1 adapter? It was included with attachments, but I did not need it, because the MUM4 mixer
alisauz
Well, that happened, as a result of long and painful deliberation, I settled on Bosch MUM 54240! You can congratulate.
Moulinex dismissed it due to the fact that it was made in China and did not find it to be seen live.
She refused MUMs of the 4th series due to the lower power than in the 5th series, since she was afraid for the functionality of the meat grinder.
I looked in the store for 251 models and the appearance disappointed me. Rustic. All my appliances are in a metallic color and it clearly did not fit the style of the kitchen. The 240 turned out to be optimal in appearance, price and power. I reasoned like this: the power is the same, the completeness, with the exception of the cube nozzle, too, I can do without the latter for now, if I really need it, you can always order, but you can't change the color of the device.
It takes up decent space on the table, I had to allocate a separate drawer for the attachments, but considering that it performs all the basic functions that I might need in the kitchen, I think it's a sin to complain.
Now about the tests.
1. Mixer. I made a charlotte. Despite the fact that she beat the eggs without separating the whites from the yolks, everything was beaten super, and the biscuit rose well. The process of kneading itself is certainly a feast for the eyes, but my whisk also clings to the bowl a little and tinkles. Until I do anything about it, I think it will get used to it over time, and pulling or bending - there is a risk that it will not be captured from the edges. The lid was not useful to me at all, everything was done neatly, without splashes. A useless device in my opinion. One of these days I want to try to make a ciabatta.
2. Blender. The son made his favorite cocktail "oyster in the desert" (milk + ice cream + banana + chocolate). The chocolate was oak confectionery, the son did not particularly soften or break it, and threw several pieces of 2 cm in diameter. In 2 minutes everything turned into a homogeneous mixture.
3. Juicer. Everything is fine. Even the child did it. All particles are filtered out. The output is clear juice without pulp at all. Along the way, it came in handy for us: the children are delighted, they twist their own juices.
4. Shredder-cutter. The coarse grater turned out to be ideal, in my understanding, for cutting carrots and beets for borscht (and did it). Along the way, I chopped on a disk, which for cutting slices (thick) cabbage into the same borscht and for pickling what was left, cutting for thin slices finely chopped onions. I liked that the graters are very sharp, I hardly even used the pusher, I just inserted a piece, and it cut itself under its own weight and went down. Meanwhile, I was peeling another vegetable for cutting. Here at this very place (when I shredded the cabbage especially) the bowl of the combine seemed too small to me. And then, of course, rinsing and disassembling all these disks and their cases is somewhat tedious. Using just a grater and a knife, I would have done everything in about the same time, or even faster, including washing. But personally, my hands are very tired from the grater, so maybe I will cook borsch with a harvester now ... I'll just chop cabbage for pickling in the harvester. With a hook I mixed the cabbage for pickling with salt and spices, even the juice went.
The next step is sote (there is always to cut dofig) and the other day I want to make a carrot salad with nuts and garlic, I think a fine grater should be suitable for this purpose. It remains to test the meat grinder, I will sign off on the results.
I hope my opus was useful for someone in choosing a harvester.
