Is it convenient with him in general? It seems to say that there is a shoulder strap and you can carry it with you. Is the hose not very short? Otherwise, I still can't imagine how to use it. You won't carry a liter and a half in your hand)
Yes, there is a belt and a bunch of all kinds of attachments. For the first time I just poured water by eye, so it was not hard to hold it in my hand. Only I didn't really like the fact that the nose itself seems to be on a round hinge and is spinning constantly, because if you want to press the brush more tightly and, as it were, clean it, then the nose starts spinning, which is not very convenient But maybe I just didn't figure it out completely and this nose can be fixed somehow

Girls, I will share my know-how on using Clathronic (I have a small jug). I have very successfully adapted it for washing and steam sterilizing small cans and preservation bottles. It was always impossible to reach the bottom of the bottles or something. And now, with a long hose, he will climb into any can and almost any bottle. How!

I didn’t have time yet. We were preparing for kindergarten, school, now we have a couple more things to do, run to a couple of places and you can sit down with pleasure
But in principle, I think that a large steam cleaner can also serve as a steam mop, you need to read, look, compare, understand ...
I have a manual one, so I didn't go into big ones

Have not received it yet? what result?
received, the result is excellent, very satisfied.
The device is very small, on wheels, all small attachments, there are 7 of them, are placed on the sides of the device itself under the covers, it is extremely convenient, you do not need to store anything separately and then look for a long time and dreary. Store the two large attachments separately — the large brush and squeegee attachment, and the rigid squeegee extension. The hose is also removable and can be stored separately.
There are two steam controls, one on the device itself and one on the pistol. The gun and the button are convenient, if you need to supply steam for a long time, then the button can be fixed. The gun has a tank for a special disinfectant, which can be purchased in addition and one bottle is included with the device. But you can use it without it. Why is this additional tool actually, until finally figured out.

I can't compare with Karcher, because I didn't use it. But there is no comparison with jugs, a jug is the last century, a very inconvenient and heavy device.
There is a minus - there is no Russian language in the user manual, and the electric cord does not wind up, like many vacuum cleaners.

Well, only on August 31 in the evening I received it. I tried it on September 1-2. The fact that there is no instruction in Russian is not a problem for me, so I buy equipment without looking around at this moment. But, the lack of instructions in Russian is a serious nuance, which is why I wrote.

Steam cleaner (steam generator)

Steam cleaner (steam generator)

I'm new! Take to your ranks! Since May I am a happy owner of Clatronic DR 3280. Everything is fine, only the point attachment flew (No. 14). I found it on the Internet, ordered it, and at the same time ordered # 13. Now I don't know what to do with it, it seems to me that it is for the Clatronic DR 2930, because it is threaded. If someone used it, please tell me.

I was puzzled by the purchase of a steam generator, with the main purpose of steaming the hanging curtains. This concerns work, we sew curtains, and even if not so often, but hanging is required by some clients ... and then you have to go out with an iron to your dear ones, which will not give surprises in foreign territory, an extension cord, distilled water for the iron ... On the master's ironing iron ironing, dragging across the floor ... packing back the unfired iron ...
In general, the initial goal is high-quality steaming of hanging curtains with adjustable steam, so that there are no water stains (some fabrics do not tolerate droplets)
vooot .... I have not had a normal weekend for a long time ... everything is in business, in business ... And today I fell out! ... where to run, what to do ..... yesterday "silit benkom" cleaned the whole bathroom, inhaling chemical. in pairs ... and I'm allergic ... today I woke up - I don't know ... it's already autumn, and the windows are not washed ... and the bread maker - my mothers - is all boiling ... Basically, teenage sons bread is baked, of course clever advice from the Internet "just wipe it and everything will be all right" is already too late. There is soot in the oven, there is a smell when baking, I am in allergic snot ...
I decided to start with the stove. I google - how to clean ... And I leave the link on this topic ... here they are! and HP were cleaned, and the windows were washed! And a bathroom-kitchen !!! And I also need !!! ... vooot ... just study the whole topic from and to on all pages - it's not real to me ... the weekend will pass completely)))
So, finally, I formulate a bunch of questions
That I need something "steam -" .... - definitely! ..
A steam generator - for work (not daily and not even weekly ... I thought to buy something not too expensive, because it would stand in the corner until the occasion)
Steam cleaner - for the house (you know what for))))) and so I understand that it is more in demand in use ...
So ... steam generators and steam cleaners - is it really a combination? that is, buying one device for all specified purposes?
Can you suggest a reliable model, but not a killer one for the price? ..
... and so that you could climb onto a stepladder - to burn a lambrequin under the ceiling? ... and not cut off your hands ??? ... and not wet it?)))))
Sumbuuuurno! ... Pliiiz !!! Help !!!
Verbena
about! how much she wrote !!!!

For steaming the curtains (as for work), I advise you to buy a separate steam generator - the one that costs in many clothing stores - with it you will definitely not have "spitting" and drops on the curtains ...

The one that is called a steam cleaner, and the one that "lives" in many of us at home - for cleaning - the very thing ... ... for professional ironing - not really, because our steam locks can spit from time to time (and as I understood - you want to exclude this) ...

If you think logically, then perhaps there is 2 in 1, but I think that the price of such PG + software will be huge ... ..that is, as a conclusion, it's easier for you to buy 2 units and it will come out cheaper for you ...
PySy ..Well, in general, as something nonspecial, it will be aesthetically pleasing first to wash the toilet / bath / kitchen, and then use the same unit to "walk" around clients and iron the curtains .... Well, this is my IMHO ... (although at home we do this .. ..)
Manna
Verbena, in my opinion, a manual steamer is more suitable for you, such as such... I have not seen this in Russia, but you can look for analogues (for example - 🔗) .
Verbena
Thanks a lot for the opinions! Not having this thing on the farm, you don’t think about some points, that’s why the opinion of real users is especially valuable!
Oca
Verbena, if I understand correctly, then any steam cleaner with an adjustable "steam strength" can be used for ironing by pulling an anti-splatter cloth over the nozzle. Regarding the curtains: my thick ones did not flatten out (the existing steamer has a stated temperature of 98 ° C at the outlet - not enough). They could only be leveled with an iron on strong steam. Now, as they dried up crumpled, so I left them. Even when ironing by weight, the fabric under the steam nozzle becomes "longer", as a result of which humps appear on the curtain. When the fabric dries up - it seems to be exactly ... here are the bruises and two myths:
Steam cleaner (steam generator) Steam cleaner (steam generator)
... and so that you could climb onto the stepladder - burn a lambrequin under the ceiling? ... and not cut off your hands ??? ... and not get it wet?)))))
It is better to take a model with a tank of at least 0.5-1 liters, because steam in the "jugs" quickly runs out and you have to wait for the next portion. But such a steam cleaner may not fit on a stepladder, my 2-liter Kromax Odyssey Q-801 does not fit on it in width The husband stands nearby and holds him. It is not scary to wet it, it will not turn sour, water will drip from the nozzle if there is a break in work for half a minute or a minute (approximately), then the nozzle cools down and dew falls out in it. If you constantly steam something, it does not write.

I absolutely agree that a steam cleaner is much better and more convenient than a jug. I have a Dirt, has a one and a half meter hose and is also extended with a rigid mop handle. So she calmly reaches the ceiling in the apartment from a 2.7m ceiling, I did not try higher, there is no such height. Doesn't spit in 1-2 minutes. It spits only if it has cooled well, and then it heats up again.

Thank you!
think, think!
due to the fact that I work with curtains - I iron them during the manufacturing process, because they simply at the place of hanging, at the client's, must be steamed from the folds formed during folding, storage, transportation ...
the steam generator should cope with this, without any problems ...
but in the legend of TV shops that the curtains after washing will not have to be ironed - I did not believe it before ... the washed organza - yes, you can steam it, but even then - not overdried and jammed ... with nylon - there is a high probability of "crooks" "and bubbles ... and some dense fabrics will just smile at our attempts to smooth them out without touching the hot and smooth sole of the iron ...
water-water, steam-steam ... but some fabrics sooo love to be "ironed" (ironed - so scientific)))

so so so, that is, with a jug you can steam out / refresh the curtains?
Oca
It is possible, but my jug has very strong / wet steam, it perfectly cleans dirt, but the fabric soaks more than it smoothes it out, look ... By pressing the button it is regulated, but it is necessary to select the position of the button with millimeter precision.

That is, can curtains, tulle, without removing, without washing, pass the ferry and it will be ok?

I have a curtain made of threads, I don’t iron. And so much depends on the fabric, there are very finicky rags (see above).

so I don’t want to wash but don’t know about the quality, the curtains are new, I haven’t washed them yet (and I don’t want to !!!)

With curtains, this is unlikely to work! ...
Well, that is, if you just "how to freshen up", then you can walk with a steam, but there will be more ironing effect than cleanliness ....... But processing curtains instead of washing will not work out for sure ... all the same after spring in the summertime, the curtains need to be refreshed with a "wash" ....
You, for example, wear jeans, and this does not mean that after walking through the jeans with an iron and steaming them you do not need to wash them ... well, something like that ..

Again, I want to say that having a steam and manual and a large one, it is definitely easier to handle / iron the curtains with a large one, BUT .. ironing will be effective (in my case, the material from which the curtain is made seems to play a role) only if the curtains float immediately after washing, otherwise the "creases" are difficult to steam ...

I certainly apologize, but maybe someone from the masters who have been using these miracle devices for a long time will be able to briefly make such a selection like:
- A handheld steam cleaner is more suitable for that
- great for this kind of work
Or "if you need to do this it is better to work manually, and if it is something big", eh?
It just seems to me that it would be best to navigate whether it is necessary at all, and if so, in what form
It's just that I, for example, are now seriously thinking about what I need more - a steam cleaner or a mystery 1115 vacuum cleaner ...

Cheesecake, if you read even 10 pages back, then for yourself immediately determine which front of work is more suitable for the baby, and which one is for a large PG in your case....

And in general, it is difficult here to determine how you put the question ... The fact is that it is easier for someone to make one refueling of a large steam generator and clean up once a week / month, and for someone it is enough with a manual steam generator, since the house is cleaned daily and "hotbeds" simply do not have time to appear ... Another determining factor is the "number of residents in your area" and the "degree and frequency of pollution" of your home by these residents ...
Oca
I fully agree with * Anyuta * Unless I will add on my own that the manual steam generator (with 1/4 of boiling water filling) will turn on in the case of "ahh! I slept! I’ll leave in 5 minutes, and my blouse is all rumpled!" And the big one turns on in cases when it is necessary to wash more than two objects and I do not break into pulling it out of the cabinet

It is a difficult task on the assumption that these are absolutely two devices with different functions. Mystery is a vacuum cleaner, and the steam generator will not collect dust and debris, but will only soften and dissolve. That is, before washing the floors with a wig, you must
We'll have to think about what is more needed first. For me, for example, the mystery is used more often than a steam generator and a steam brush. But the mystery can be replaced with a broom.

Girls, and a steam generator for washing windows to what temperature can you use it without damaging the glass?

Oh girls! Like many of you, I was staring at the Karcher 1020 software. The price is not entirely satisfactory, but the availability of service in my city decides everything. So my question was: how to drain water from this software? By turning the entire machine upside down or otherwise?
In the Karcher store itself, they told me that it is not at all necessary to drain distilled water, well, unless, of course, you do not throw it for another month. So I think which is better?
How long is the hose and squeegee handle? And how long is the cord of this model?
Thank you so much to everyone who responded to me!

Alexa-ha! Hose length with gun 2m
2 tubes 0.5 each
cord 4m
I pour in filtered water. I have never drained the water. I use everything for "clean work" And turn over the unit to drain the water - there will be no difficulties

Somewhere from March this year. I am very satisfied. The presence of a service center and the possible purchase of nozzles played a decisive role in choosing a steam cleaner. And I often use a mop from him, as just a mop.
