Girls, and I will join you in a company with the Karcher 1020 steam generator I like everything about it, especially when you consider that I started my knowledge of steam cleaning with a green H2O mop. True, our joint tandem did not last long, on the 2nd day of purchase it died - it stopped heating water in steam. And immediately I found a replacement for her, ordered from Karcher's website - just before the New Year I did a general cleaning. Well, everything is super, except for one significant minus for me - the gun heats up very much if you use a point nozzle or a round brush and the extension tube itself when you wash the floor. And besides this, steam and hot droplets seemed to be shoving through the cracks - for the second time I already held it through a thick rag and it was hot. Is it all this way, or is it just me? I'm just in shock that it's so hot ...

Hello everyone, I have Karcher SC 1122, it really has already been discontinued, like all the best, but it's just a SUPER thing!
I chose it for a very long time, and from the very first minutes I realized that I was not mistaken. He is already three years old, but I do not have such problems as you are talking about. Only after an hour of work I feel that the pistol has warmed up, but not critically for sure
Svetik_
Girls ...... well, how long have I been looking through Temko (fluently) really well, do you need a steam pipe or no ???
Karcher wanted it and still want it, and I don’t know what to do ???
What do I want to do ??? I need to clean the tiles in the bathroom, I wanted to go through my dust collectors, carpets ................. will it really be cleaned ??
Manna
I would not recommend a steam generator for limescale tiles and carpets. The steam generator will not save you from limescale. And I can hardly imagine cleaning the carpet. It will not clean the dust from the carpet. You can collect animal hair, you can steam the carpet from all kinds of mite microbes, you can remove some stains. But all this together with a rag to collect dirt and excess moisture.
Svetik_
I already have a Karcher 5500, well, with an aquafilter, but something is not enough, you need something else ............... there is such a steam cleaner, is it necessary ??? but I already have an aquafilter ........ well, that's what to do with me ???
I want a high-quality cleaning so that all kinds of microbes die, etc., my tiles are asking for ...
Manna
The easiest way to remove limescale from tiles is to use acid ... lemon. The steam generator cannot cope with it.

A steam cleaner is a good thing. In the sense that it is both a steam generator and a vacuum cleaner, that is, it sucks in all that dirt that is diluted when cleaning the surface with a steam generator. Do you need it? I do not know. But such a device is much more convenient than just a steam generator.
Svetik_
manna thanks for the answer of course
But ........... wanted to indulge in another miracle from Karcher ...... probably probably not necessary, but how does it deal with glasses ??
Reviews are many and different
Manna
With glasses, I think the steam generator is not replaceable. I really like them to clean windows (including all sorts of cracks in the frames themselves), mirrors.

I want to wash the "Lakomka" electric waffle iron with a steam cleaner, where there is soot on it like in a frying pan - brown. Will it work?
Manna
Mashun, I tried to wash the inside of the bread maker - it did not work out, the burns remained. Hood, stove (with burnt), microwave washes perfectly

Is it possible in more detail? I hate most of the chemistry
Dissolve 2 tablespoons of lemon in one liter of water. Moisten a sponge and walk over the tile, where you need to rub harder.

Girls, did anyone manage to remove the brown burnt oil stains?
Wasp, I washed the metal base of the Kenwood slow cooker in several runs, into which a ceramic bowl is inserted, wiped it with Sif, then steamed and so on several times. Everything was washed as primordial, but you can't do without at least some cleansing chemistry, clean steam does not take fat and does not pour
kseniaa
And I want to ask you how to wash the lid inside the multicooker with steam? Just blow steam on it and rub it? What is the thread with chemistry? Will nothing close in it? How scary.
Lucha
I read Temko, took out the Klatronic DR2930 from the mezzanine, stood there for 8 years. I remember trying to wash the oven with them after cooking a goose on convection, I was not impressed, it's time to return from exile

The lid of the multicooker can be wiped off very well with melamine sponges. They erase grease like an eraser and the lid is like new

Dear girls.
Please tell us how the shower stall is cleaned? I read the whole topic. We are inclined to buy a Keher 1020. Although we have not yet finally decided on the model. So, we are planning a purchase with my sister for two. We live across the street from each other. And my sister has a shower cubicle. I would like to clearly understand whether it will be good to clean it. The water in our city is very bad. Tough, leaves a strong coating on everything. My sister was worried about cleaning her stall.
Everything else seems to be clear. And the windows are clean, and the kitchen with a stove and a hood.
Thank you in advance.
Katheline
Dear girls, thank you very much for the topic, I read everything without stopping during the day, decided on the PG, saw a bunch of useful tips and recipes and, in addition, passionately desired a slow cooker! I beg you, without referring to another topic at once, advise 2-5 models of multicooker, because today I heard about them for the first time, but I want to buy before 14.01, it is very urgent! Thank you in advance!

I don’t think a young and attractive woman has limescale on the tiles in the bathroom ??? I have lazy a busy lady doesn’t have one. And I needed a PG in the bathroom. The seams on the floor between the tiles to whiteness, the bathtub is also closed with tiles -PG coped, blow out dust and dirt perfectly.

so do not hesitate and take it, he will be a good helper for you in the bathroom as well. My PG is less than 3 weeks old, but I can't imagine how I lived without it. It removes the unpleasant smell :-) :-) But, of course, it's up to you - to have or not to have ...

Though manna I already answered, but I’ll tell you ... I couldn’t wash the HP (I only washed the dispenser in HP), the hood and the walls in the kitchen from splashes when cooking biscuits (Euro-lining) washed elegantly .. for one-two-three ... but here the microwave could not - perhaps I was not so impressed with the use of the steam generator in the microwave because I use the lid when heating ..

DEX-50 has been discontinued, it is replaced by Philips, similar in functionality, and a couple more models from other manufacturers, but in order not to flood the topic, at least for your own development, Katheline, go to the topic CHOOSE A MULTI-COOKER and read at least the last 10 pages to decide for yourself what the people choose, what are the priorities of your requirements for the cartoon and whether they correspond to them
innaell
So, sir, I was distracted by the cartoon, lost my mind
I'm generally in the subject with such a question.

A month since I bought a steam cleaner and am actively running around the house with it. And this wanted to help my mother-in-law and clean her hood with this miraculous unit. But I don’t have a hood at home, I don’t know which side to approach it. Can someone share an algorithm of actions? What are the best attachments to use? Or maybe it is worth wiping it with some means before steaming?

My mom has a shower stall (glass + acrylic), too, they thought for a long time what to wash. Since I subscribed to Amway, then I bought a Bathroom Cleaner, the acidity is about 6 (less than 7 is a weakly acidic medium), they whispered, rubbed ... and so on 2 times, because they had not washed for a long time, but only rinsed. I am happy with the result with Citric acid and did not dare to wash with the steam cleaner.

Chamomile, I successfully use TILEX, it is necessary to spray on the glass of the shower cabin after each shower use, it is not necessary to rinse. To begin with, of course, wash off the limescale, for example, with Silit, and then let all the household sprinkle this product after themselves. It suits me very much, the water is also hard, but the cabin has to be washed much less often with it

R.S. buy Tilelex in Auchan
Stafa
I washed it with citric acid in a compartment with a steam engine. Without the lemon, the specks were not washed off from the hard water.
Oca
I want to wash the Lakomka electric waffle iron
Soap with Fae, amway stuff: Dishdrops (concentrate), a product for the kitchen, for metal, (only Zoom and for ovens did not try - I'm afraid they are poisonous), just a household. rubbed with soap, pemolux, put it in the PMM, boiled it in the oven with soda ... I don't know what else? Took in the end a steam engine. And you know what? and he washes a little! When there is steam pressure for the first 5 seconds, the fat begins to recede. This is how I laundered HP. So, she began to smear the household waffle iron. soap and steam, the result is, but slow.

I want a baalsh steam cleaner, I just need Terminatorrr! While the husband agrees to buy, which model to choose so that the steam pressure is at least 5 atmospheres, and preferably about 10 or as much as possible? (but the price, of course, is not 10 thousand)
Blackout
And me, and me ...
I bought Karcher 1020, and his green light does not light up, the one that shows that the device is plugged into the outlet. So he works, lets steam. I called the store where I bought it, they said that this is the first time in their practice, the steam cleaner will be changed. Tomorrow I'll take you to the other edge of geography (Butovo).

Mash, at 5 atmospheres - these are not very common steam cleaners, but at 10 I haven’t seen anything.
Karcher has max. 4 bar, price about 15 thousand.
MIE has 5.5 atm. - BELLO for 16.5 thousand.
POLTI has a professional Vaporetto Eco Pro 3000 for 5 bar for 40 thousand, it also has for 56 thousand
DOMENA CS6 eco (our girls have it) for 4 bar for 18 thous.

Manna, thanks for the answer. Eh, I will soar for a long time and tediously ... 10-atmospheric should be on atomoykas, apparently I need to stick there with my waffle iron I, naive, thought that large steam cleaners are capable of more ... I will pour it into my soda with vinegar

I also went to our service center today to hand over the steam generator, but it turns out that we have not existed since 2009, and they regularly write about it in our booklets. I arrived home upset, the nearest service center is 200 km away from me. I call the hotline, I tell my trouble. And they tell me, don't worry, because you bought from the company's website, a courier will come to you, pick it up and take you to the nearest center, then, based on the results of the diagnostics, they will either fix it and bring it back, or change it to a new one and everything is free, hurray to go nowhere not necessary. Now all that remains is to wait for the pick up ...

: smartass: T. because progress does not stand still, instead of technology I can recommend a new sponge for heavily contaminated plastic (that is, if it is not sealed kitchen fat, namely dust that has eaten into the surface, even greasy) I had a terrible problem with the rough plastic at the top freezers and a hood forgotten for many months.
Now on sale melamine sponge... White rectangle, finely porous, rather dense in appearance compared to foam rubber.
: girl_utug: He is only soaked with water and washed under the tap (often). And several times it is necessary to draw over the surface.
The sponge is quite expensive (50-90 rubles for 2 pcs.) And is very fragile, by the end of cleaning it simply melts, rolling and collapsing, like an eraser in high-speed shooting. : this: But the result of that in special cases is worth it - heavily soiled plastic, enamel, which cannot be wiped off with abrasives or strong chemicals. Principle - strong absorption of dirt by wet material.
: girl_cleanglasses: Understandably, a very rough surface will eat the sponge instantly.
I bought in Auchan and Perekrestok. Initially, ScotchBright firms (by the way, their foam sponges live for months and do not even deform), and then packaging of some non-name Russian firm appeared in Ashan. In general, they are rare, you have to hunt and store for future use.

My friend has a unit of my dreams - a Karcher steam cleaner, I’m not rockin 'yet just because I have a single room without parquet and carpets, but I would have strained myself for a long time and bought it ... A steam cleaner is an awesome thing, just collect and wash -you will be worn out to disassemble, so people use only for general harvesting. But this is again, so it is out of necessity, someone needs it more often. But me and the steam generator - for happiness, BUT only Karcher !!! There was something to compare

Anyone! They are all created in the image and likeness.
Just today, she conducted the first field tests of the little Clathronic (2930). The unit has been with me for three weeks, and I just got the chance to really try it out today. I steamed off the denim jacket, cleaned the sofa (partially), and the toilet. Minus one - to wait a long time, when it cools down, and "lets" add some water to its small bowels.
Honestly, I did not expect miracles from him. He does not create them. It just works. I used to take it more for steaming clothes. But it will be very useful to me for cleaning.
dandelion
I would not recommend Kromax400. For vertical steaming only. position and even then not all clothes, because small power. The student took it, that's what it is, because there is no ironing board. Lives in a hostel. He likes it. And in general, after using a large cromax, I don't understand how I would use the jug. I still miss him.Wait for cooling and topping up for about 1 hour.
Manna
Why wait for an hour to cool down? The liquid is running out, there is no steam, and there is no pressure. We open, top up and continue to float.

I am still an absolute dilettante in this business, but I didn’t let the steam go until it cooled down. Maybe I just screwed the lid too tight

I have a Cromax802. after disconnecting, I wait 30 minutes, unscrew the lid and there is pressure, it flies itself out. if you immediately pour water, then it sprays right up. so I'm waiting another 10 minutes not an hour. but it takes 40min to wait between refueling. I do not wait for the liquid to run out completely, for some reason I am afraid. I would also like to ask, how do the others feel when the water runs out?

It seems to me that it should be so. It's like pouring water on a hot surface: hissing, hot. spray and mountains. steam.

Today, after both gas stations, I just ran out of steam. I press the button, and it's empty. Incidentally, the steam generator does not turn on anymore, the light is out.

Girls, my Karcher and Klatronic do not make me wait for 30-60 minutes But I bleed off the steam myself completely before opening the tank

Next time I'll try to twist it not so fanatically. Maybe mine will not force me.
However, I was not strained to wait - I have been busy with other urgent matters so far.
Natalia K.
I have a Clatronic DR 2930, I don't expect it either. When the steam runs out, I open it freely and fill in a new batch of water.
Stafa
I also let off the remaining steam - I release the pressure when the steam engine is off and open it. But I wait a bit for it to cool down - otherwise the spray scatters in all directions when poured into a hot water container.
