tell me, is there a delayed start in this model or not? On the M-Video website they write that it is there, I read it here, it seems like not. But how actually? How does this model cook, does it burn?
There is a delayed start, although the instructions say that it is available for the "brown" function, I have not tried it yet ...
The model cooks perfectly, I am very satisfied, it does not burn, the porridge is wonderful, the consistency is exactly the same as it should be, not thick and not liquid. Cooked pea soup, delicious! Today I tried stewed potatoes, did as Galina wrote, put it on the usual mode and went to the grocery store, when I returned, everything was cooked very tasty, it reminded me of potatoes from a Russian stove
I also cooked buckwheat and steamed cutlets at the same time, also the result pleased me, I also made pilaf - also very tasty !!!!
I really like my cartoon!

I asked a question about the availability of the "delayed start" function on the official SUPRA website, this is what they answered me:

"Supplements
to the SUPRA MCS-4511 Multicooker User's Guide

The “Timer Setting” item on page 15 should read like this:
The timer function is not available only for the Brown menu. "That is, there is a mistake in the instructions that is misleading to many.

I ask the owners of this unit for help! Please write - how reliable is it, how is the coating of a bowl, is it possible to cook semolina with a timer delay, can you fry it in it, and can you really wash the saucepan in the dishwasher? I beg you to answer as soon as possible, they offer a new one inexpensively. We do not plan to cook non-stop, but so, porridge by morning, stew the meat with vegetables from time to time, maybe we can cook some soup. THANKS in advance for your answers.

I am anxiously looking after this multicooker.
I am a graduate student, leading a healthy lifestyle, eating mainly cereals, potatoes and pasta. And I want to eat deliciously even in the hostel. Now it is finally possible to buy a multicooker with a big discount, but as always, the price plays an important role.

FROM the multicooker is required to "feed" me 4 times a day, and on weekends to surprise the neighbors with pastries

Panasonic is no doubt a good thing, but in my particular case it will cost 2490 rubles instead of the MCS-4511 supra for 990 rubles
Do you regret what you bought Supra?

And in what proportion did you take cereals and milk and how long did you cook porridge? Did you use a delayed start in this case?

I bought the Supra MCS-4511 cartoon two days ago, managed to cook a cottage cheese casserole, manna, cooked cabbage soup, stew potatoes with meat, made pilaf, and also 2 times for the timer for the morning porridge !!!! Just super! I am very satisfied.
Proportions for porridge (consistency is not liquid, but viscous) - 1-dimensional cup of cereal (for smaller rice), 1 liter of milk, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 0.5 hour. tablespoons of salt, a piece of butter. It turns out breakfast for three adults. In the evening you lay everything down, set the menu - porridge, set on the timer when you should be ready, press start and go to bed, and in the morning you wake up from the smell of porridge !!!

Thanks for the post. Also bought the Cartoon Supra MCS-4511 a couple of weeks ago. There was no special opportunity to cook. From what I did: I cooked jellied meat from pork legs and ears, made a pork shank in beer, stewed chicken drumsticks. Everything turned out just awesome! Especially Boar Knee (shank with skin fried, I then stewed in beer). Very comfortably. And to wash, it's just fabulous! YuliaG, a question for you - what porridge did you make? I want to try semolina, but I don’t know how much to lay. If you did, share a detailed recipe. Thank you.

I also managed to make porridge 2 times in the morning. The first time I made wheat: I took 1 cartoon art. cereals, 1 cartoon. Art. water, 3 mult. Art. milk, a pinch of salt, 4 stylu of sugar. I set the "porridge" mode and set the time on the timer when I want the porridge to be ready. By the way, after the end of cooking, the cartoon automatically switches to the mode of keeping heat. It turned out quite tasty. True, next time I want to try to make this porridge on the water, so that it turns out to be more crumbly (as a child, my mother cooked this way and I very much liked it). And another tiny problem: my porridge has fried a little at the bottom, a crust has formed. Who was it? Could it be because the food remains overnight?
I made the second porridge from oatmeal: 120 g mult. Art. oatmeal, 2 tbsp. water, 3 tbsp. milk, 2 tbsp. l sugar, a pinch of salt and ..... 3 tsp. condensed milk. It turned out very good. delicious, and condensed milk clearly contributed to this, it gave the porridge a creamy taste! By the way, after the end of cooking, the cartoon automatically switches to the mode of keeping heat. True, the porridge was cooked at 7 in the morning (so that my husband could have breakfast), it remained on the heating mode, and my daughter and I ate at 10-30. Despite the mode of keeping warm, the porridge was slightly warm and I turned on the heating for just a minute.
In the next. just want to experiment with fruits and I for years. But you can't leave such a porridge for the night, since fruits need to be thrown at the very end

I also respect oatmeal (though I haven't tasted it for a long time). I will try to cook according to your recipe. Tenx.

I have one more question: the default cooking time for porridge is 1 hour. I could not reduce the cooking time, although the instructions say that porridge can be cooked from 30 minutes to 4 hours. It just seems to me that for some cereals, 1 hour is too much.

The answer is: Porridge Mode - Cook Time.- Hours (press 4 times) - the display will light up 0.30 Now you can set the minutes. Here.
JuliaG
And if you cook oatmeal, which flakes are better to buy?
inna01
Tell me, in what mode can you simmer jellied meat so that it barely gurgles in the 4511 model? and pilaf on what mode to make it with a crunch. crusty, slightly fried?
ldinka
And in two days of owning a slow cooker, I only managed to stew the ribs with potatoes, bake a cake. And today I decided to cook pea soup. I poured the peas into half of the bowl and turned on the stewing, after 25 minutes the water from the multicooker ran through the top. Why could this happen?
camelka
I used to eat regular oatmeal (but not those that are quick or do not require boiling). In general, the most useful form of oatmeal is oatmeal.
mowgli
I am going to buy such a slow cooker, explain about the "stewing" program .. what will you need to bet on? And how to cook pilaf? Well, or where to look at her recipes
mowgli
I already bought the cartoon (I brought it yesterday) ... I would like to ask the experienced ones what programs they adapted to their needs? Well, for example, stewing, cooking borscht, pilaf on which program to cook, etc. ... And then you can read about other multicooker, but not about ours ..))) ..
JuliaG
I have been using my 4511 supra for two weeks now! Stewing can be put on prog soup, I did not cook the borscht completely, but simply cooked the meat with a bone (broth), and then refueled it on the stove, set the cooking time for 1 hour 30 min., The meat was very well cooked, I made the usual pilaf on the program, but simply rice cooked on the program fast. All recipes from Panasonic are suitable for our cartoon, do not be afraid to experiment!
mowgli
I cooked borscht yesterday !! Super, put on the "soup" program for an hour ..
mowgli
I cooked pilaf on the "porridge" program, first fried everything on a "pie", then put the "porridge" on for 40 minutes, but the rice was of an unknown manufacturer, and then I put it on the "pie" program to get a crust, followed it for 15 minutes, because this the program is not programmed turned off. Even with bad rice, the pilaf turned out to be crumbly .., it remained warm for another half a day. Children came from school, ate with pleasure

They brought me this wonderfully happy, like an elephant! I put oatmeal porridge in the morning according to the camelki recipe ...

Report: the smell of porridge was throughout the apartment, so-a-a-so delicious ... but when I opened the miracle saucepan, the porridge turned out not to be porridge, but soup, very thin ... I had to add oatmeal ... after that the porridge turned out with a bang! True, a little with a fried crust ... but delicious ...
mowgli
And I already made ryazhenka, and cooked borscht, and stewed cabbage, and fish on a vegetable pillow .. Oooooooo very happy with the purchase ...

And I am very pleased. I don't use a stove at all. If only fried eggs for breakfast. I cook everything in cartoon. And I bake the meat, and the soup, and the compote, and the cabbage, and the cottage cheese casserole, and porridge. By the way, who is interested, I asked SUPRA support - is it possible to wash the saucepan in the dishwasher? Can. The main thing is not to use abrasive detergents. P.S. When the question arose which cartoon we would take, at first the choice fell on Kuku for 13,000 re., Japan is there, like cool, well, that's all. Then I began to study Panas, but there are too many PROS and CONS - the pan cover is unreliable, it is inconvenient to wash (the lid is not removable) and so on. And SUPRA ?! Read the forum carefully! Not one, NOT ONE !!! bad review. That is, without any complaints at all. Took HER! Nirazu had no pity. Recommend!

How to bake meat? And then with my daughter they wanted to make it in French, but it turned out to be a sauce .. We, of course, got it for a sweet soul !!!

Of course, as in the oven it will not work, the appearance will be somewhat different, but in the oven it will not work as in the cartoon! In SUPRE, the meat turns out, how shall I say, more tender or something. I baked a pork knuckle with a bone and a pork belly roll with minced meat (bought in a store). I fried the product on SOUP until golden brown on different sides, then on porridge from time to time turning it for an hour and a half or two (in the porridge mode, you can set the cooking time). All! Voila!
P.S. If the readiness sensor is triggered, the cartoon will turn off, again force the mode on. In general, I would advise you to experiment a little more, and for the first time do not leave the device unattended during cooking. Indulge in different modes and everything will fall into place. In general, I believe that the manufacturers have incorrectly named the cooking modes. What is it? Fry on SOUP, simmer on PORSE. Only people are confused! It would be better to call buttons 1,2,3, etc. and write down the temperature regime and operating time. Then there would be no misunderstanding and confusion. IMHO.
mowgli
Well, actually, I cook everything on the stove, it turns out delicious .. Children laugh, they can't get used to it))
camilla30
Yesterday I cooked a biscuit in it, a very tasty cake came out, and the meat and potatoes turned out very tenderly ... my husband was eating both cheeks and could not stop, he praised everything ...
That's why I bought it, which is not a single bad review.

Good day to all !!!
I was also going to buy MB. Since I have a Panasonic bread maker, MV seems to be also going to take this company.
But in the city we do not yet have 4.5-liter Panas. We took Moulinex, after a detailed study, they handed it back.
There is no delayed start, but for me it is he who is important.
We saw the supra, the price was pleasantly surprised, I liked the thick-walled saucepan with a good coating (even in Panas it is not like that).
So, please tell me who uses the supra, is it possible to cook porridge in it with a delayed start (say, at 21.00 I loaded it, by 6.30 the porridge is ready, that is, the difference is 9 hours and 30 minutes from loading to the end of the program?)
And it's also important for me: In the morning I threw in the meat, filled it with water, came home from work - ready-made broth. Threw vegetables and after 25-30 minutes - Voila! Get some soup?
Is this possible with supra?
JuliaG
With supra, you can do the same as with Panasonic, also a delayed start, the same goes into heating mode automatically, a very convenient and practical thing! Only her user manual is awful! It says that the delayed start is only "for brown", in fact the opposite is true, only for the "brown" there is no delayed start. You can fry on a pie, a carcass on porridge and on soup happens, only if you stew meat or make a hodgepodge, you need a little water, since it practically does not boil away. The pea soup boils well and the color is very beautiful, but then I cook it (potatoes, carrots, onions) on the stove, it's just more convenient for me. A big plus of this saucepan is the removable lid. I can't even imagine how you can wash it off after making the same soup, when scale remains on the lid, if you don't remove it, as in Panasonic. I have been using my cartoon for the second month very happy.

Can you please tell me who knows what modes and when to cook soups in Supra MCS-4511.? Maybe someone knows some recipes for soups?

Hello everyone! This morning we were awakened by the aroma of millet-rice porridge in milk ... it turned out to be so tasty, delicious ... um ...
1/2 multi-glass of rice, rinse, 1/2 multi-glass of millet, pour boiling water twice, drain, 2 mst. water, 3 mst. milk, 1 tsp. no top salt, 6 tsp. sugar, "Porridge" mode for 1 hour ... set the timer at 10 pm at 6.30 am ...
I haven't cooked soups yet, I think you can take any from Panas ...

Good evening, cartoons !! You infect me mercilessly, I feel that I will not be able to hold out for a long time, I will buy it until it was snapped up by the 8th. Is there a recipe book for this MB.

mowgli
no, there is no recipe book, but many take recipes from Panasonic and apply to it, and I cook in the same way as on the stove.
Everything turns out well .. Very tasty ..
Tatiasha
Understood ... You write here that the programs are mixed up, there is no extinguishing. On which program, then, to make stew with potatoes, pork knuckle? Porridges are not interesting, although who knows, I did not eat bread either before buying HP ...
Beretta
Once again I will moor to the owners of the supra. I read a lot about Panasonic for a long time. There is a delayed start only for buckwheat, pilaf and milk porridge modes. But for stewing, baking and steaming, no.
Does Supra have such a feature? That is, put meat and water in it in the morning, start the "Soup" program with a delayed start, and so that the broth for the soup is ready in the evening before coming home from work. Has anyone done this?
And does the delayed start work on the "Pie" mode? (bakery products)

Many stew on the "soup" and "porridge" programs. I also))))). I didn’t do the knuckle, but I read that they first fry the "pie" on the prog. then add some water and put "porridge" on the program
