Ingredients

Wheat flour 2 tbsp.
Water 1 tbsp.
Salt 0.5 tsp
Sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Rast. oil 1 tbsp. l.
Fresh yeast 15 g

Cooking method

  • Dough recipe simple (glass = 250 ml)
  • Quickly knead the dough in a bowl and refrigerate for ~ 1 hour. The dough should grow well. This time I only withstood 35 minutes.
  • Pour literally a few drops of vegetable oil into each groove of the "hazelnuts" heated on fire, and put an oblong piece of dough. The dough should cover the entire cavity. Raise the donut with a fork, when it is golden, turn the donut over, and fry until tender. The fire is small. Hands are not hot in the process.
  • I pinched off the next pieces of dough with my fingers dipped in butter, which is enough not to add butter to the hazelnut. I added pieces of chocolate to the last portion of donuts. Next time I'll try with cherries, candied fruits, dried apricots, etc.
  • Sprinkle the finished donuts with icing sugar.

There remained ~ 0.5 cups of mashed potatoes, I added 1 quail egg, a little salt, slaked soda and flour to it to make a very soft dough. The cooking process is the same as for regular donuts.

I poured garlic sauce over the hot potato nuts. It was very tasty with soup.

Donuts in hazelnut

Like these ones potato "nuts" with garlic and French herbs :

Structure:

400 gr boiled potatoes (mashed)
1 egg (47 gr)
1 tsp salt
100 gr flour (a little more, to taste)

garlic
dry herbs

Preparation:

Stir cold potatoes with salt, egg and flour. The finished dough is soft and barely sticks to your hands.
With your hands greased in vegetable oil, take pieces of dough, and put them in a hazel-box, and brown on both sides. If you pour a few drops of oil into each recess, the "nuts" will be more ruddy.

When all the "nuts" are ready, squeeze the garlic on top and sprinkle with herbs. I took Miller Kotani "French Herbs". Delicious.

As a reminder, for these recipes, I only use the notched part of the hazelnut.
