Apple gingerbread

Ingredients

Apples 500g.
Wheat flour 2st.
Eggs 2 pcs.
Butter (I have vegetable) 125g.
Sugar 170g.
A mixture of spices to taste (cardamom, star anise, cinnamon, cloves) 2h l.
Orange essence (replaced with balm) 1h l.
Soda 1h l.

Cooking method

  • Melt the butter. Refrigerate.
  • Separate the whites from the yolks and beat until firm. Postpone.
  • Peel and core the apples, grate them on a fine grater (I chopped them in a food processor not until puree). Postpone.
  • Grind the yolks with sugar until a light thick mass is formed. Continuing to grind, add apples, butter, flour, spices, soda, essence.
  • Add proteins to the mass and mix gently.
  • Grease the form with rast. butter, sprinkle with semolina. Transfer the dough, flatten.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 160C for 40-45 minutes.
  • Cool, cut, sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
  • Very soft and delicate taste! Although apples are not even felt.
  • Py. sy. the essence still needs to be added, so it will be more fragrant!
