Ingredients

DOUGH:
Flour 550 g
Fresh yeast 20 g
Butter 110 g
Milk 230 g
Eggs 2 pcs. (110 g)
salt
FILLING:
Butter 110 g
Sugar 110 g
Almonds (ground) 110 g
CARAMEL:
Water 350 g
Sugar 160 g
Vanillin on the tip of a knife

Cooking method

  • There are many similar recipes, but mine is still different.
  • If you replace almonds with coconut flakes, you will have another pie that tastes completely different!
  • Very aromatic and soaked. The dough was kneaded in HP.


  • If you are kneading the dough in HP, then when laying products, follow the instructions of your HP. Select the "dough" program. After kneading, leave to rise for 1 hour.

  • If you knead with your hands, then:
  • Dissolve yeast and salt in warm water. Mix flour with melted and lightly cooled butter. Pour in a little milk, continuing to knead. At the end, beat in eggs one at a time and knead the dough well. Leave to rise for 1 hour in a warm place, covered with foil.

  • Cover the form (I have a diameter of about 25-27 cm) with paper. If there is no paper, then grease with oil.

  • When the dough has doubled, roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangular layer. Brush it with melted butter and sprinkle with ground almonds mixed with sugar.

  • Roll up lengthwise. Cut into 9 identical pieces. I advise you to cut with a thread or fishing line (luchok idea).
  • Lay in the shape with a flower. One piece in the middle, the rest in a circle. Place at a short distance from each other, as the dough will still rise.
  • Leave for 30 minutes. for proofing.
  • Oven at 180 gr. about 30 min. I baked at 170 gr. with convection.

  • While the cake is baking, you need to make caramel.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt sugar in water and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring continuously.

  • Remove the cake from the mold, place on a dish and pour over with caramel.

Note

You can also add some cinnamon to the filling to taste. Alternatively, replace the almonds with coconut flakes.
