It turns out a huge cake and a few dishes, which I hide, and then, when the cake is eaten (usually on the second day it’s gone), I take it out - a surprise! Cream, lately, I have been doing this: sour cream / sugar beaten + boiled condensed milk - it turns out much tastier than just with sour cream.
And for guests, the cake is always a win-win - everyone eats, and even spoons.

I mix one part with sweet sour cream (as in your recipe), and the second I make with custard (my mom likes that more).
