In the ice cream maker itself there is simply nothing to "break", except for mechanical damage, IMHO. And the "frost" of the bowl depends only on how much and where it was lying. The refrigerant has nowhere to go from it, if it does not flow, in theory. There is also nothing to breathe out there - if I understand correctly, then there must be a salty solution. When I’m going to make ice cream, I pre-cut the "superfreeze" in the freezer for half an hour or an hour. After that, stable, normal soft ice cream, which goes into the freezer for an hour or two, and then is consumed with pleasure. Also about the fact that it is "like melted" - it can strongly depend on the composition. After all, it actually melts quickly, much faster than the store one, if without additives.

I am happy with mine, just a year ago it was presented to me on the other, I did it all the time in the summer, less often in the winter, but almost always an Ikean box with an ice cream for every firefighter lives in the freezer. I just can't buy myself a spoon that is good for picking balls ... You just need to understand in advance that the nefrizer will not have very high power, but the price and simplicity are low.

Even purely intuitively, it seems to me that from time to time the bowl should be completely defrosted - and for many (and for me, for example) it "lives" in the freezer. In my opinion, there are no such recommendations in the instructions, but if there is a saline solution inside, then it would be nice to mix it well sometimes for even freezing.
