I have this ice cream maker recently (1.5 months), but it is actively used - 2-3 times a week.
Before that, there were no ice cream makers, so there is nothing to compare with.

When adding whipped ingredients (for example, Anastasia's ice cream and everything else with whipped cream), the ice cream at the exit is soft, the ball does not form, but you can eat right away, the ice cream is airy. Freezing time in an ice cream maker is from 20 to 30 minutes.

When laying non-whipped liquid components (ice cream from Rina), the ice cream at the exit is liquid, to achieve the desired condition I put it in the freezer, after an hour or two it is ready, the ice cream is dense, heavy. Freezing time in an ice cream maker - 30-35 minutes.

I scrub the ice cream with a nylon black spoon, the frozen 4 mm layer at the bottom of the bowl, which Yulia-Tillotama mentioned, does not always form for me.

When I remove the lid, the stirrer will almost always remain in the ice cream.

Try to do ice cream from Anastasia, there all the ingredients are whipped, the mass is not initially liquid. In my LL it freezes to soft ice cream in 20 minutes.

For fruit, I do not defrost frozen berries to the end, I grind them in a blender right in a semi-thawed state, then rub them through a sieve.

She made strawberry according to the recipe of Yulia_Tillotama, in her subject a link to her website, where the recipe and photos of the process are presented (specifically for LL), the consistency of ice cream is visible there. I did just that.

Virinea, do not expect hard ice cream from the ice cream maker, it will be soft and cold (as if melted), but very tasty, as it should be. Should get it in the freezer if it lives to see it. Sundae from Anastasia in our ice cream maker (based on 200 ml of cream), the freezing time is 15 minutes.
You can safely knead a full portion (400 ml of cream) according to the original recipe and freeze in 2 stages.
I already did the 1.5 rate, it did not fit in the ice cream bucket, it froze the first portion for 20 minutes and the second for 20 minutes, the second was a little thinner.

I can only eat soft ice cream that can be eaten right away with whipped ingredients - Anastasia's ice cream or strawberry ice cream with whipped cream.

If I pour in a completely liquid mixture, then it does not freeze until it is "immediately edible", it comes in the freezer.
