Swedish meatballs

Ingredients

Meatballs:
Chopped meat 800 g
Bread crumbs 1 tbsp.
Milk 100 ml
Eggs 2 pcs.
Minced garlic 2 cloves
Salt and ground pepper taste
Ground allspice 1/4 tsp
Sauce:
Butter 3 tbsp. l.
(about 75 g)
Wheat flour 50 g
Milk 180 ml
Chicken or meat broth 600 ml
Salt taste
Dry greens and dry tomatoes

Cooking method

  • Mix all products for minced meat well. Form round meatballs, 3-4 cm in diameter. Cover the baking sheet with foil, brush lightly with sunflower seeds.
  • For the sauce, melt butter in a frying pan, add flour and fry for a minute or two, stirring occasionally. Flour shouldn't turn brown! Pour milk and broth in a thin stream, stirring constantly. Season with salt, add herbs and tomatoes. Boil until thick. (could not resist and added a little more dried garlic)
  • Put the finished meatballs in a deep dish or tray, and pour over the sauce.

Time for preparing:

about 20 minutes.

Cooking program:

Bake in a preheated oven (220 degrees)

Note

Today I came across this recipe on the Internet 🔗

Did it. They ate it. I liked it, my husband too, but my son said that the cutlets are tastier, he doesn't like sauces ... but I'm tired of ordinary cutlets

Very tasty with mashed potatoes!

Delicious! (i.e. bon appetit!)

Sonadora
I confirm, very tasty meatballs are obtained according to this recipe. The kid says better than Ikea. The sauce is so delicious that you can eat it with a spoon.
